As far as a windshield is concerned. I’m 6’1, experienced wind buffeting at about 60+mph. It was so bad I was afraid of a brain hemorrhage, lol. Watched a hundred videos and decided to go in the complete opposite direction. Purchased the Harley Davidson ST Wind Deflector. It’s bronze, matches the wheels and paint accents. It looks so rad I don’t even notice the wind. Now, forward controls of which I’m a big fan. I came off a 2006 Night Train, ya had a reach for the pegs and the drag bars. Now after a year on a 2023 LRST I would never put forwards on it. Although Harley categorizes it as a ‘cruiser’ it is anything but. Bike was designed and built to be ridden aggressively like a jockey and ya ain’t doin’ that stretched out. I adapted myself to the bike and not the bike to myself. Beautiful bike, great vid! Ride safe and good luck.
Thanks. Thankfully, for me the wind buffeting is not that bad, but I will eventually probably get a slightly taller windscreen. Mid-controls - I'm getting used to, what I want to do for now, is perhaps add some engine guards, and maybe add some highway pegs, that way, I guess I'll have a bit of both worlds - mid controls for more aggressive riding, or highway pegs for long journeys comfort. And if that still doesn't do it, only then, I'll probably change to forwards. We'll see. I love it.. It's a great bike.. Can't wait to change the exhaust lol.. as it's painfully quiet.
I would have stuck with the sport glide nice to have a bike few people have that fairing is horrible my opinion fairings these days have these bikes looking like boats should have threw some 16 inch bars on the SG and you would have been good you that fairing is actually from the original 1983 sport glide that’s funny .
I loved my sport glide. It’s a great bike. I do miss it actually. However, I’m planning to move to Spain in about 2 years, and for the initial registration I needed the bike to be pretty much stock, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to bring it over. And that wouldn’t have been possible with the sport glide. The opportunity to upgrade came along and I went for it.
Style wise, I love both. It’s a bit like the street glide vs road glide. The sport glide is a bit more classic, relaxed, whilst the low rider st a bit more sporty/aggressive I guess.

Hey guys, if you're interested, we have a coffee table made out of a Harley Sportster v-twin engine. 👌
Where's old mate at 6:19 going?
I have no idea 😂

One of the worst first impression videos I've seen on UA-cam so far.
