Good video, but not a upgrade for me. My ace 300i is matching your tests, albeit with the 15 inch detech coil on, your vanquish will be great on wet sand though, and your getting my depths with a smaller Coil which is also impressive, good video mate
Good video. The Vanquish has to be better than the Simplex. I recently purchased a Simplex to replace my old Bointy Hunter Lone Star. Simplex is just as bad as far as decrimanation goes and complicated to operate. I am putting the Simplex up for sale and hoping to get the 340 or 440 Vanquish or another Bounty Hunter. A newer model Bounty Hunter of course, as mine is about 18 years old.
How you doing mate? Just a question, - what frequencies does the Vanquish operate on? Couldn't find this info anywhere regarding the MultiIQ.. Equinox 600: 5, 10, 15khz / Equinox 800: 5, 10, 15, 20, 40khz Vanquish 540? ???

Nice video. I’d like to see a depth video of the Simplex vs the Deus ORX I like to land hunt but also do water hunting The ORX can go in water with a waterproof box to 15 feet vs 10 feet deep in the Simplex thanks Norm
The orx needs an antenna if used underwater as the wireless wont work, I've not seen one tried in a waterproof box. My deus isnt as deep as the simplex or the vanquish it lack depth.
The vanquish is more stable and better on small fine silver and gold being multi frequency but I think the simplex has the slight edge but is more chattery and vdi isnt stable. Both are excellent
The mute function on the Simplex is seen to be many people as a good thing; in reality, it's masking the fact that the Simplex cannot work with some pinpointers. For example: the Simplex can only be used with the Garrett Carrot in F3 mode - F1 and F2 modes send the Carrot into unworkable, beserk spasms. I've just been on a group dig where I found two silver coins and another Simplex user found nothing. The Vanquish user found 31 coins. Accounting for skill and luck - is that just coincidence? Having said all that - the Simplex is an outstanding machine. I'll report back my findings on the Vanquish as soon as possible (arriving soon).
I think you should have used a 340 or at most a 440, you mention best machines under £500! for this test make it under £300 then there is only one winner.
@@kevm666 shame you don't do any investigation on the Simplex mate. You will be surprised what this fella can do. Even many youtube video's that the Simplex beats the nox 800

Thanks for the good unbiased review. I might be looking at buying two different machines. Sometimes I go to the beach or the desert for nuggets.

Nice review. I agree. Both are good detectores for the price they come with. Thanks for sharing👌
The winner is.... ???
The first honest video that shows how noisy the simplex is no one admits it when you ask usually
I'm not sponsored by anyone just doing my honest reviews, it's a brilliant machine but its normal for nokta makro they are all chattery.
@@kevm666 Not as chattery as my Apex.
How is better my friends. ??
An excellent review. Thank you!!

My daughters got the vanquish they are very capable machine
@@kevm666 540 or the 440
What does the iron bias do?
it is not a normal comparison one costs 299€the other 540€
That's why there was no winner it just shows how good the Simplex is against top end machines.
Super......
That music all the way through segments drove me nuts👎
After straining to hear you on full volume, you play super loud music every minute or so 🥴 👎
Yes my ex-partner did the videos for me but now I do them myself so I can limit the volume sorry about that guys
Wtf with that screaming loud music?? Why ruin a decent video ?

I couldn't do that as I only have these machines
Simplex don't give a I'd back at that depth

Vanquish way better than the simplex +.. The simplex is like the nagging wife, won't stop chattering.

sounds like a Stokie accent ..
Don't forget the Simplex can be updated 😉😉. Today way better than any Vanquish even the Nox 800
Sorry but thats complete rubbish

Its a real good detector but I've found multi frequency has that edge
Vanquish can be updated too ;) Have fun with your chatterbox.
