They probably banked on some girl falling off, but then it didn't happen so they invented Samantha's "disrespect". I think it's terrible that they treated two such sweet girls like this for the challenge... yes hannah's walk was awful, but they literally set everyone up for failure.

They even went so far as to record them reacting like clowns. Something you wouldn't have noticed back in the day when you didn't have instant replay to pick up on these details. That's was totally accidental! She was swinging her arms with a shift dress. Shift dresses are notoriously unruly with the slightest bit of wind or wrong movement. Plus, her hands were probably sweaty. Wet palms will "catch" satin and other types of smooth materials. Also, found her whole dress flipping an odd thing for a new model to do in the first place. I wondered if someone told her to make the dress move a lot to show the flow of the material.

Watching both your reaction commentary & Luxeria’s has made me see ANTM in a whole different light compared to when I watched this show as a teen & early 20 something. By you dissecting both scenes of Samantha practicing her walk but the differences that occur being dark & light outside says a lot about the editing tactics along with the clothing rack that was there & removed. I think what you said was right about how the Jays never reacted off of Sam's walk and they added that clip in to create a moment. They DEFINITELY would have brought all of this up if it was that bad like they made it seem. The show was definitely creating a narrative that I'm sure plays into later episodes with Sam and her journey on the show. I don't remember the episodes but it seems production likes to do these fake moment to create or change the story/journey of a contestant in the way they want. Love the break down as always.

My interpretation of this has always been that the designer got over the top mad and they did what they could to make him seem in the right, since they didn't want to offend a guest. Realistically Samantha couldn't even see what she was doing, and that dress was short with a silky material that was easy to ride up.

When there is a complicated challenge like this one, clearly designed to sabotage the models and make somebody fall or similar, BUT no one fails, they always come up with some ridiculous drama.
Your detective work is amazing! Good for Samantha for making it as a finalist and not letting this set-up hampered her photos. She did great photos throughout this season.
I think they were expecting someone to trip or fall with the blindfold, and since no one did they had to go back and find something for a story. And thats the only thing they had. Even when I was younger watching this I could see she wasn't raising it ,she was just posing and it lifted up a little. She also had earrings on when she's practicing and then in front of Jeremy she's not.
I think the best evidence that the clips had been doctored to some degree starts at 2:37 where you can see Amanda? Is wearing big earrings but when she’s being told off she doesn’t have any earrings
At the point where her dress is pulled up Jay is not even looking at her. He is looking toward the two people the other side of Miss Jay. You can see him turn back after.

After watching her little sister, Chris's interview with Oliver TwiXt, it turned out the salon they went didn't cater to ethnic hair; in result to this, they ruined Terra's hair. That was the reason why Terra was upset, and on top of that send her home not that long after. Savages.
Some of these runway challenges seem (ALMOST) legit, but a lot are just reality circus shows. I can't tell you how many times I look up runways after this and nobody does it. How EXTREME is fashion really, Mr. And Ms. Jay????

Regardless of whether he said it, or not, she was blindfolded. Her vision was impaired. Also, on top of that, like you said in the previous episode, if he was so concerned with how his products are being perceived and scene why are you having a bunch of (technically) unprofessional models modeling your stuff anyway? Of course she was set up. Apparently just being blindfolded was enough drama for the show, they had to spice it up by making up more drama over nothing. That dress was either too short, or too wide. It had issues. And Jays never seen a lady in painted, please?! Oh gosh, I forgot Isis was in the season. I don't think it was intentional. It's a light, flowy garment and she's trying to put her hand on your hips and the dress got in the way and rode up. She can't really see that well of what she was doing.

When there is a complicated challenge like this one, clearly designed to sabotage the models and make somebody fall or similar, BUT no one fails, they always come up with some ridiculous drama.
Your detective work is amazing! Good for Samantha for making it as a finalist and not letting this set-up hampered her photos. She did great photos throughout this season.
I think they were expecting someone to trip or fall with the blindfold, and since no one did they had to go back and find something for a story. And thats the only thing they had. Even when I was younger watching this I could see she wasn't raising it ,she was just posing and it lifted up a little. She also had earrings on when she's practicing and then in front of Jeremy she's not.
I think the best evidence that the clips had been doctored to some degree starts at 2:37 where you can see Amanda? Is wearing big earrings but when she’s being told off she doesn’t have any earrings

After watching her little sister, Chris's interview with Oliver TwiXt, it turned out the salon they went didn't cater to ethnic hair; in result to this, they ruined Terra's hair. That was the reason why Terra was upset, and on top of that send her home not that long after. Savages.

OMG, I recently discovered your channel and I really love your reactions and I don't know if you're going to read me but cycle 22 has some of what I think are weird and very good sections and I feel that your way of commenting on it would be perfect especially the one of ghosts and dolls. You should also react more to the cycles that there are boys and girls since I consider that there are many sections that are so iconic of the three cycles that included boys and girls and it would be fun to see you react.

Her practice back stage is kind of her hiking up the dress. Her runway walk was just her posing at the end and his outrage is ridiculous. The dress looks like a long blouse and she's wearing pants underneath so even if she lifted it up a bit it's not like she was showing off her underwear or private bits..

Regardless of whether he said it, or not, she was blindfolded. Her vision was impaired. Also, on top of that, like you said in the previous episode, if he was so concerned with how his products are being perceived and scene why are you having a bunch of (technically) unprofessional models modeling your stuff anyway? Of course she was set up. Apparently just being blindfolded was enough drama for the show, they had to spice it up by making up more drama over nothing. We can't make a big deal out of someone falling I guess so let's pick something so much stupider to pick on. Especially when no one didn't see any issues with it until HE made a big deal about it.

I felt bad for both bottoms in this one. Sam was set up and they sent home the trans girl who was nervous about wearing swimwear, especially since some of the other girls said she didn't belong there.

so how are they arguing if they’re clearly not even looking at each other?? they’ll use shots from a drastically different place/time and string them together to try to make us believe the story they want.. but we have pause/rewind 😭😂
they’ll do the same with the commentary footage/talking heads, they tell them to wear the same outfit when they shoot those to make it look continuous… but their hairstyle will switch around mid-sentence 🙃🤡

That dress was either too short, or too wide. It had issues. And Jays never seen a lady in painted, please?! Oh gosh, I forgot Isis was in the season. Annaleigh was my favorite, she should have been Top 2. She and Sam were in a Big Bang episode, and AnnaLeigh was in a second show. Ick, Ann Socket, what a queen beee, ooo, cchhhh. Omg! Do the episode where they get hit off the runway with that huge pendulum. That was hilarious.

I don't think it was intentional. It's a light, flowy garment and she's trying to put her hand on your hips and the dress got in the way and rode up. She can't really see that well of what she was doing.
