Amazing what you all have done for this game and us as fans of the franchise and your work. Thank you, to all of the people who have worked on it for this incredible Mod. Massive respect. I cannot wait to get this installed :)
But about installing this mod (sweat_smile) I do have a few questions. First of which is, what are the specs of the PC you are doing this showcase on? Or in case you do not want to share that info, does my rig fit the bill? :
Intel I7-8700 - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX1070 (8 GB dedicated, 16 GB shared memory)
Second question: Are there install guides available (for morons like me) on your discord channel and/or UA-cam channel? (I am quite bad at doing these things by myself tbh)
Third question: Will it affect your single player campaign/savefile? (As I have pretty much done all there is in the game, even cheating a boatload of money after completing it so I can buy a ton of cars that I want to customize but I never intent to use XD)
Fourth question: How does this MOD fair in Online? / Does it work in Online? (This question is more or less because of my lack of knowledge on how MOD's work (sweat_smile))
Fifth question: By any chance, are all DLC cars available for everyone with this MOD? Or do you still need to buy that DLC from the Origin Store? (Would be cheeky if they were available, as I am quite salty about the fact that you still need to buy a 5 euro, 5-odd car DLC even though I bought the PRE-ORDER DELUXE-EDITION........ Yeah, the hate for that fact is deep-rooted.(sweat_smile))
Because of all the first 4 questions I am kind of, afraid might I say, of (installing) MOD's. As I stated before, I suck at installing things correctly. So before I break my PC somehow I rather have watched a guide at least 5 times before going for it with the install guide playing as I follow the steps.

Money, customer tastes, and corporate decisions.
@@rosaria8384 plus the lack of the understanding the audience itself made them move away from games like this to other genres that's easily exploitable for cancerous microtransactions (ie. FPS, anime JRPG's, MOBA's, Battle Royales)
They leave "some" room for improvement so they can milk series
Deadlines? and they have tendency to make the least effort while trying to maximize profits
why put in a novel effort when you can phone it in and have people still buy it?

Tbh I don't bought this game because the random loot box and microtransactions. However after seeing you guys fix this , I think maybe I should give a shoot.
Ya wanna know a interesting fact, i didn't too untill they released the trailer weeks back and lpripper did a video on it... I bought it and finished the storyline so I could enjoy payback unite when it came out.

@@JETHEBEAST76 i much prefer how Heat handled them but i still really appreciate how Ghost handled them in Payback, especially since it probably wasn't their decision to add them
Again it just goes to show how once again, as always, modders have to fix and make games 50x better than the DEVELOPMENT TEAM can ever do, insane to me!!! Great job guys.
You don’t understand the difficulty and sheer talent game development takes and has, dont get me wrong this mod is great but it isn’t anywhere near the level of what the devs do
In fairness, the modders don't have fat, stupid, lazy, out of touch corporate suits breathing down their necks demanding they do things a certain way for their bottom line.
An aggressive high quality lens flare can make this even more appealing. Specially from the upcoming car's headlights and from the taillights of cars that are infront of the players. Like you did with Heat.

Holy shit. The graphics look freaking awesome. One of my biggest issues with the Payback and Heat were the dramatic blue or yellow color filters that drown out the colors of the cars. This looks to fix that. I can't wait to check this out.
Awesomeee... increased traffic density! I wish NFS Heat UNITE mod had that too. Cause man that game tends to feel too empty for such a lively looking city full of neon lights and beautiful high rise buildings. It's bad enough that the devs/EA removed AI racers in free roam and left the environment in Heat looking like it was rushed, empty spaces, too repetitive props, lack in so much detail and props that make it feel like a lived in city compared to NFS 2015 and Payback's environments/cities that are brimming in detail and unique areas.

Very impressive! We should thank ghost for bringing us these fun racing games albeit having it's share of problems, but thank the modders and unite even more for making good games even greater, excellent even. I didn't purchase payback or heat yet, but there's never been a better time to do it thanks to this!

I really enjoy the work you are putting into this game, Payback is one of those games i wanted to play but never got to because of how it turned out (plus, my potato pc can't handle it), so seeing it like this really makes me want to play it, now, i have a few questions and suggestions if i can give them:
- Are you guys thinking in adding freeroam cops? I don't know if it's possible or how it might turn out, but maybe using something from Heat and implementing it to Payback on that regard?
- Will there be more cars? (i know this is something extremely hard to do and takes a lot time to get right, but since we have a wide variety of cars that aren't in the game but are on others, it'd be interesting to see them in game)
- Now for the suggestion, with the car dealership, do you guys think you can change the background? maybe act as a second garage where you can view the cars? giving the vibe of MW05 car dealership, because just the empty void with the light on the car feels a bit dull, the game does have personality and i feel it lacks a lot of it with UI at times and other places, with is something Heat fixed later on, so getting that personality to show more of itself would at least make the UI moments look more pleasing to the eye i think and even a part of the world.
With how restrictive the tools are, “adding” things is basically impossible for the time being. Applies for all the things you listed. The dealership could perhaps work but would take some time

@@StewHeisenberg nah it's not because frostbite. He's just using in game tools to modify things. He doesn't have access to the original build

Man, I was so glad to see my country's license plate in this game, the Philippine license plate. Btw, I live in the Philippines. Btw, how did UNITE knew about the Philippines? I love how they added the Philippine license plate. Never seen it in Heat yet. Btw, I don't download mods for my NFS Heat game since i'm on PS5, but I've just watched some NFS Heat UNITE mod videos on UA-cam. I really love how they modded these NFS games (Heat, 2015, and Payback), and it's not just only the Philippine plate they've added. They even New Jersey, Nevada, Japanese license plate, European Union (or just European license plate, or EU), and some sort of anime license plate i've just spotted in this video. The same anime license plate was also in the NFS Heat UNITE mod.

Anyone else had some issues with the reflections artifacting? Physics are a huge improvement though, but the reflection bug I'm experiencing is fairly frustrating.

I used to play this alot back on ps4, now i got a good ass pc and bought the game on sale specifically for unite.
Nfs 2015 unite is imo still the best to me, drifting in that is solid!
With that said, are you guys planning on refining the drifting some more? On lower hp cars (less than 500hp) it feels very wack, front barely wants to turn unless ure in a drift, and it feels as if the differential is just always open, car struggling to go sideways, feeling restricted. Once it goes sideways, its fine tho, its just starting a drift that feels a bit wack.
Other than this its solid as heck, thanks for making this and get me to revisit this game!
The mods biggest issue is that all cars are insanely rwd, they easily spin out from the smallest mistake, acceleration and turn is a 90% chance to spin the car out of control witch is a detail I don't like, also awd cars can handle acceleration while turning its just that those cars are not present
im not even a need for speed fan nor did i care about it. but that changed. good work damn.

You guys are awesome. I can't believe how beautiful this game looks now. I was wondering which Software did you use to record this gameplay, it looks pretty clean and high quality.
Criterion needs to take some notes, only thing I would change is the enhanced turbo sounds, turbo flutter when just barely tapping the gas sounds silly and it would be cool to make backfires on certain cars be deeper or more impacting. The drift bmw sounded great but the amg seemed off to me. Keep up the good work.

In Heat, you change the size of the rear wheel on GTR R32 to look normal, can you do the same thing in Payback and NFS15?

I like this a lot, but can I nitpick about it a bit? xD
6:44 can barely see the road due to how blinding the sunlight is, can you improve this? Don't know if that's how the game does it by default.
6:26 the nitrous effect is basically inaudible, can you change it to the one from MW12 or something?
7:15 that echo caused by the flames and the surroundings is way too much, can you tone it down a bit?
18:35 drifting and offroad races look amazing now, but does the AI still have the speed limit? It seems like they can't keep up.

You will be able to play the story, without the stance mod however as it crashes at cutscenes 👍

Its nice project unite use the steam version of the game so we can buy ea without involving their scheme and just have fun with the game.
Thanks unite. I just bough the game steam when its on sale. And i say, i was skeptic because microtransaction stuff. I dont want micro transaction on my full price game. Just on my free download mobile game.
But after unite make mod for payback i feel like some happiness run on me.
And i quickly bought it while its on sale. Totally not disappoint after the mod.

Thank you for your kind words! However don’t undervalue Ghost’s work on this game, they created it in the first place and they still remain far more knowledgeable and skilled in developing them, while we merely modify their work.
I think it is simply the approach and some decisions along with budget and time limitation that caused this game to perhaps underperform in some peoples eyes.
Our approach is not limited by any time or budget constraints, and we can allow ourselves to play around more with the files to find what suits us and the community best, while the game remains the hard work of Ghost.
@@UNITENFS I’m not trying to undermine ghost as they did bring back what the community wanted I’m just disappointed by the outcomes and decisions they made such as going from 2015 a good foundation into payback which then forced them to reboot the series again as heat of course I understand the challenges of game development as I’m trying it myself but I have to critique flaws of course without being an asshole about it

If yes, what if other players don't have mod installed, they just don't see additional stuff on my car?
the mod look really dope and I can't wait to install it, but i'm worried my pc will not like it. I alredy has problem of low fps and freezes with Unite on Heat, and with the overall graphics update you bring with the mod I'm afraid it will make the game un-enjoyable to play for me.
So is it possible to tweak the mod for turning off some option or have a better graphic option menu ?
I really enjoy your work and I started replaying Payback two days ago, so i look forward to have an upgraded experience on the game thanks to you !
