Whats so amazing is that the island & house are so tiny, but the experiences that the little girl & her grandmother have on the island are so 'big' in a funny way. So important & life forming. How it is endlessly interesting. It's as if the detail has been magnified & every experience on or around it has too.

I have one Moomin book at the moment The Invisible Child. My collection of Tove Jansson's work is growing. I am such a fan of hers now. Would love to visit Finland and this gorgeous Island. A fan can dream.
