Hi Mike, so glad to see the outcome of the great cleanout campaign. Great stuff and I am sure Betty must have thought the return home to her reclaimed garage must have been a highlight of her trip to Reno. You have helped me several times before with tips on finding/buying Gaylords of used books. One additional question if I might pester you one more time. How do you get rid of the residual items after you reach the bottom of a bin of books? After you take out the Amazon items, the eBay items all the extraneous valuable non-book items that find their way in there, what do you do with the remainder "trash"? Where I live a Gaylord full of picked-over residue would probably cost $60 to $90 to dump in the landfill. Be well and sell lots my friend.
@@goldenstatepicker Wow, you've got an outstandingly good deal there ... as I am sure you know. So you never actually take possession of the books, just pay the owner of the Gaylord a fee to sort through them. Great. Thanks for the speedy and helpful response.
Yo, Mike! Great vid and congratulations on the sale! Thanks for the inspiration. I gotta do some tiding up around here for sure. Gotta get stuff cleared so I'm ready for the next big haul, I know it's coming. America has an epidemic of stuff, once you put yourself out there as someone who buys it, it really starts coming your way.
Your lighting is so much brighter now that you’ve cleared the other side of your garage. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉The Beatles Album was a big win! I would have sold it too!
@@goldenstatepicker I just saw a video about goodwill auction online and that video show how they process the item and put in auction. But they did say they want to keep reseller out as much as they can and they did show like oh we did sold Rolex watch for $20 k and Patagonia jacket for 1k . It really make me thinking about it. Local goodwill will send good stuff to goodwill center and they have people will sourcing them. Book clothes games electronic jewelry you name it. I know it happens maybe in the back 2 years now but I don't know what your opinion about this. Thank you
@@vokhoi7360 they skim all the good stuff off and very little gets through. Tough to deal with goodwill on hard goods. Books you can get some. Everything else is tough.
Nice sales Mike!! As for Yesterday and Today and the fact that I saw your other video about the overlay - while I'm a Beatles fan and have a few things of theirs in my collection, I would probably sell this one unless maybe it had been sealed - a bird in hand as it were. The songs I can get elsewhere to listen to and enjoy.
I would have sold it too! The Pyrex I dream about finding is the 1959 Lucky in Love. It would be hard not to sell but I think I would hold on to it and hope it went up in price. I feel like I am drowning in stuff. It has become so overwhelming. I finally made myself stop buying about 6 months ago but I feel like the stuff is multiplying. I feel the same way too when you get organized or make an accomplishment you feel better. The garage looks great!
I remind myself, you can’t sell it if you don’t list it! Hard to stop buying but you’re right- it’s like money just sitting there if you let it. I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t pick up a $20 bill off the ground- same thing!
How much did you pay for that black metal shelf behind you? I got one for free on trash pickup day from one of my neighbor's lawns and another for $50 on amazon.
We have a Huge Dead Pile, love shopping more than Listing, needed this video, Thanks Mike!
All the best to you. Thanks for watching.
You are never boring, Mike! ❤
Thanks for watching.
PS I would have SOLD the album…. Just go manifest another to come your way… You can DO It!
Yes one advantage I have is living in central Nebraska, ideal for shipping!
Great video, loves the talks. The Best. Thanks.
Yup. Sell it! Yay for you. Love your videos!!!🎉

Mine stay. They then resell the books I reject. WIN WIN. They get the duds to sell and I get rid of them.

There is an epidemic of just JUNK floating around. The stuff I see at my book area is just crazy.

Yesss, this is why i started my Series on my channel Titled What's in my bins should i resell or donate lol

That's my thinking. $1300 was a no brainer. Thanks for watching.
Fantastic video, thank you!!!
Love your channel. You are so inspirational 😊

Tough choices, but you can do this. There is money in that stuff.

I'm shopping my money pile right now as I try to clean things up. Full disclosure, I did thrift on Saturday.
I’m going through my house garage looking for things to list!
All the best.
Thank you for this video!
All the best to you!
Thanks Mike!
Glad you got this resolved, however, they now have your highly sought after album...will you ever see it back?
I have my money so I'm not out anything really. The bank or eBay are out the money from the frauds.
Sell that album! I’m in South Dakota sometimes make more on shipping than the sale! I have to go sourcing in my garage 🤦♀️ Thank You!
Thanks for watching.
I found a Pyrex UFO set at an auction for $35 and sold it later in that day $800

I paid $25 each for 7 heavy black rolling shelves a long time ago.
@@goldenstatepicker my average cost is the same… Good thing I was able to get that one for free.
Is garage sales really worth all the work it takes? I hate to do garage sales.
Sometimes very frustrating. Still enough there to make it worth the work. Thanks for watching.
I would have sold as well!
Sell!! Good job!
You make a Great Cheerleader 📣 🎉

First 🎉🎉🎉
Oh like the State Farm Commercial......So close!!
Just created a pile 😮
Sell it but I sell everything
When talking about music you sound like Casey Kasem! Now let the young ones google that!
The great Casey Kasem. WOW thanks for that one. What a voice.
Sell it.
Sell it. I never like the Beatles. Dead Babies Sickos.
I did sell it. $1200
