Hats off to RM for Intellectual Jagriti at such important platforms. I want to list out some of the path breaking concepts and ideas of RM from this lecture-- 1. Itihaas misinterpreted as Mythology 2. Classical language (Dead language) v/s Ancient language 3. Outsider being Insider to his own camp/civilization !! 4. Need for Swadeshi Indogoly 5. Purvapaksha and Uttarpaksha - By Whom? - Earlier Vibrant , Now Ignorant 6. Historical Exclusivity & Power Structures + Version and Updates - Judaism v/s Christianity v/s Islam 7. Jaati/Varna v/s Caste system - Caste System Evolution by the Britishers - Nasal Based Index Census - Divide and Rule Policy 8. Western Universalism and Digestion 9. Hijacking, Distortion and Appropriation of Indian Heritage - Yoga / Meditation as Christian Yoga & Mindfulness meditation/Relaxation response etc. 10. Sanskrit and Sanskriti (Sacred DImension) are Inseparable - Different Traditions and Customs - Sangeet, Nataka, Nritya, Kala, Architecture, Vyakrana, Yagna etc 11. Sanskrit Non-translatable - Importance and Significance - Yanga, Dharma, Bhasma, Rashtra etc. Its the right time to support RM's pathbraking concept for revival of Swadeshi Ideology and Indology with Purvapaksha and Uttarapaksha. All must support RM's in this Global Intellectual Kurukshetra.
SANSKRIT IN ACTION!!! It is the most beautiful language and spoken with passion and fluency by one so very young. This type of progress must be EXACTLY what Malhotraji envisaged when he took up battle against Western dis-information. Too beautiful!
I think rajiv has appointed himself as Foreign Affairs Minister of Hinduism. He is honest and capable enough to know and follow his swadharma. Just image of All Hindus following his footsteps. No need for churchlike organisation to govern and dictate what is our Dharma.
Swami Swatmanand saying that we consider all religions are the same and they all are different paths to reach the same destination is quite a glaring manifestation of how Ignorant, how Filmy, and Totu-Ratant these Indian so called traditional leaders are ....Rajiv ji very well mentioned towards the end that we of course respect them all (on mutual pre-condition of course) but to call them all the same is quite non nonsensical.. I wonder these Pandits and all basics bhi nahi jaante and they claim to represent the tradition .....may god save Hindus
+sandeepnarayan630 he talked well but may be he should have been bit more specific when he said different (dharmic) paths (buddhists, jains) lead to the same destination.
+sandeepnarayan630 True. Hindus also have this disease to keep parroting that the world is one family, that all human beings are divine and all religions are great , and such crap. It may be a good thing to score brownie points with other hindus, but other religion ppl must be rotfling on such nonsense. I think by using such words, we are actually covering up for *intrinsic* cowardity.
Yet another gem from Rajivji's India visit. Audio quality starting at 21.50 is bad may be because of lacement of mike in front of the new speakar..Could some one improve it.I do not know the way otherwise I would have.
Namo Namah, Guru Rajiv Ji, I have now started sending small small size your UA-cam video to kids who are between age group 13 to 16 yrs . I found one of the boy in my son' s class really interested already. He shared The Thugs of Hindustan' s real face....thugs who were actually a Kali worshippers and not terrorist s as branded by Brits. In his class he even refused to learn History chapter regarding Thugs and was sent out of the class by his teacher. I have shared many of your book's s name with those kids. Pranam.
Amish tells a very "nice" story about his son & the environmentalist... and, he himself is the environmentalist... he studies our... his own culture as a detatched 3rd person... "objectively" as he calls it. But he "justifies" his bigotry by calling it being critical of his own culture. Being critical does not mean denying its existance & calling it imaginary.
Full support to the Battle for Sanskrit. Small correction, though. Tamil civilization is older than the Saraswati - Sindhu (as Swamiji refers to it) civilization . It is the oldest living civilization. While it is the same dharmic civilization, the origins are from the Tamils. I have seen physical evidence of Tamil Dharmic civilization much older than the Saraswati - Sindhu civilization. Feel free to provide evidence that disproves my statement. I am always open to change based on new evidence I receive. Thank you!
+Poonam Abbi there are more people who can understand Hindi, Bangla ,Oriya Tamil, Telugu etc than people who can understand English . Indian language is also important because we need to have Uniformity in our Country no internal or external forces can then think of dividing us at least on the basis of language. our mother tongue had always been like a Mother but its time now we start respecting other Indian Languages as Aunty
How to learn Sanskrit over internet or remotely (online/offline). What are the accredited channels, viz. youtube channels, internet sites, mobile apps, Institution from where we can purchase books or online classes. We need a well defined framework over public platforms for people who don't have access to Accredited Sanskrit universities.
Great discussion. Hope the Indology University is commissioned as I would like to donate for this great endeavour. When a galaxy is formed, it takes a shape of Elipsoid - LINGAM - DIVINE (refer Sadguru's explanation of Lingam in UA-cam).
I like Rajivji but didn't he criticize Amish for writing Siva trilogy series and taking the sacredness out? He compared him to an outsider or secular liberal for writing such novels.
Loved the example aloo paratha, pizza, pan cake....it's funny but on the other hand very disturbing. I am always proud to say I am not same with mutual respect only.
I wan't to share some observations, corrections are welcome. Sanatani is right word, not Hindu, it is muslim/Persian reference, short for Hindustani (like Pakistani, Uzbekistani, Tajikistani, Afghanistani). Across Arabian Sea we call a person from UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Yeme, iraq, Syria either as Muslims, Islamic or Arabic, similarly they called us Hindu bcoz of Sindhu river. The word Hindu is not present in our holy books written in BCE era when Abrahmic faiths were not even born. Hindu+ism suffix= Hinduism, so it is Persian reference+English suffix. But words like Sanatan/सनातन, Sanvitt/सनवित्त, Sanaat/सनात् are mentioned in different texts: Srimad Bhagwat Mahapuran 8.14.4 चतुर्युगान्ते कालेन ग्रस्ताञ्छ्रुतिगणान्यथा । Similarly India is Greek-Latin reference, Caste is from Spanish-Portuguese word Casta due to slave trade. So the time has come toget rid of illogical, colonially imposed foreign words for our individual & nation's identity, concepts of our faith & culture.

+bobstores Please read the book to comprehensive view. It's not about ordering a tea in Sanskit
+Santi Dash although being able to do that, & actually have it delivered to me, would help too :)
Excelllent seminar, one of the best .. Thank you for posting

+sandeepnarayan630 Yes I agree .All are not same .This has been a very starting point of Rajivji.Probably swamiji has spoken wrongly.
+sandeepnarayan630 True. Hindus also have this disease to keep parroting that the world is one family, that all human beings are divine and all religions are great , and such crap. If you loose a part of your territory next generation may regain it but if you once loose your sanskriti no one may gain it again.

The story of the little boy who is an environment lover is too good. I'll share this with my kids and others in my circle all over the globe.

When he denied it.
He always said that he believes our gods were our ancestors and their blood flow in our veins.
We Indians read more politics than our own scriptures and the Vedas and the Upanishads

why do we discuss all this in english why not in any Indian language ,thats the biggest Irony
+Bharatiya Kyuki sabhi log Bharat ke alag alag rajyo se aaye hai. isliye avasaykta hai sanskrit bahsha ki .
+Bharatiya because you won't understand a word of what is being spoken if the discourse was done in any Indian language...
+Krishna Rao It is to remove that irony that ALL of us living in India learn both Hindi & Sanskrit.
+Poonam Abbi there are more people who can understand Hindi, Bangla ,Oriya Tamil, Telugu etc than people who can understand English .
