Just thinking of a few of my favorite moments from Olivia and Reagans Wedding on May 11th 2024. First, the dinner with the Keogh’s at the Mexican Restaurant Thursday night. Then on Friday, the rehearsal dinner where we got to know some of Olivia and Reagans friends a bit better - So impressed with this bunch of outstanding people. Then the Calvary arrived Friday morning to assemble the flowers and things while the girls all got ready in the Bridal Suite. The groomsman had a great Jimmy Johns lunch back at the Hotel Indigo just prior to getting dressed and heading over to the venue. Back at the venue it was picture time and folks started trickling in. Next, Olivia and I shuffled up to the top deck and awaited our que to walk down the aisle. Watching Reagans happy and emotional face as I brought Olivia down the aisle was really something. Then came the biggest and most wonderful part of the ceremony -Reagan and Olivia’s wedding vows. Wow! Incredible to say the least. Then Top of the World played as they were announced Man and Wife. (my family knows that is my favorite song and I only play it upon achieving a significant goal in life). Next up cocktails and visiting while we switched the plan to inside for dinner due to a rain storm. The entrances: brides’ maids, groomsman, and the newlyweds. After dinner I really enjoyed Alec and Emma’s speeches, especially liked the analogy of how Reagan joining the team made Alec’s stats go up and related that to how Olivia and Reagan make each other even better. Finally, back outside on the rooftop overlooking the city skyline all lit up at night, we had the special dances with the videos and everyone danced in the rain and had a really great time.
