The Serra leggings at aldi are the best things EVER! Two for $9.99 and they wear like iron!! They wash beautifully!! They look great on..no worries about being see thru..and I think they are warm too!! I have gotten so many compliments on them!!! Truly the best things I have discovered in years!!!!
On most days at our house, we can point to not only our food being from Aldi, but also saucepans, cutting boards that I use as huge trivets. I’ve bought some really cute pajamas, socks, slippers, sneakers, and on and on. The other day I found spicy preserves!!! My favorite is Aldi’s Italian mineral water that is divinely delicious. In our store we can buy delicious tamales that taste almost as good as mom’s. Back in Chicago, i could go to at least four Aldi’s within a ten-mile radius. Same thing over here in Southern California! Love, love, Aldi!!!
I showed my son the bamboo drawer dividers after we had just straightened up his dresser drawers for like, the millionth time, and he said yes yes yes Mommy! So off I went the next morning and got the last 4 at my Aldi! (and one of those pantry bins for me) Thanks a million fellow North Carolinian!
We have been going since I was 14 (51 now) and it's the only store we go to so we depend on it for everything from clothes to electronics. I bought my epilator there, my computer (apple turned PC type of desktop, amazing, where can you find that!). We don't go anywhere else, don't have to, frankly. And you can always, always return things with your receipt. It is rare that the receipt does not add up! Rare. And the number of things throughout the years that we have had to go back with (food) that was bad before its due date? I can still count on one hand!!! Just take your receipt and they will take it right back. You can either get your coins back or exchange for another one of whatever it is you got. Last thing that turned on us was ready-made pasta sauce (that is *amazing* BTW), it had fungus underneath the lid (lid that probably wasn't sealed) and it was years within date. Immediate "sorry" and "please would you like your money back or another one". Very polite workers too! I have yet, in all those years, to see a grumpy worker. They are so nice there!

Stores look the very same all over the world. I am in Belgium, EU (neighbor to Germany) and the concept, the Aldi own brands of things in the "aisle of shame" (lol), all are the same all over. I love Aldi. We got one a couple streets down the block, a big one when I was 14 years old. I am 51 and we have been going ever since I was 14. It's my favorite store. In 2015 it got completely rebuilt from the ground up, got even bigger and since then it has undergone a couple remodels inside. We get everything there. Yes, even electronics, do *not* sleep on those. At all! :) It is so big that the non-food items (aisle of shame) shift down the store week after week, they're in big bins over here all along the length of the middle aisle throughout the entire store. When the items get to the end of the store, it all goes into "special" sale bins. Often you can score stuff for €1 or €3, this goes from dresses to housewares, just anything and everything they have left-over items of. I recently got real wooden cabinets for €25 each (discounted), I got 3 to put throughout my house. We are experts by now at shopping there and shopping the sales. Yeah, Aldi is amazing! Lidl isn't too shabby either, which is a "sister" store to Aldi here in the EU. Lidl does have a webshop, which Aldi does not have. We have both quite close by us, Lidl is also down the block.
As far as I know, we don’t have Lidl stores in the US, of course they could be in states I haven’t been to. I was told years ago that Aldi and Trader Joe’s were started by two brothers. I’ve never researched to confirm this.
@@brendatomlinson Yep, inherited by 2 brothers (Aldi), that is why you have "Aldi Nord" (which we depend on) and Aldi Sud, which other contries depend on. Not sure who you guys in the US depend on for items. There was a time where they didn't see eye to eye and it was fierce competition, but they reconciled a long while ago and now the distinction is a mere administrative thing.
I love Aldi’s as well, I rarely shop at the main groceries stores or even Walmart (for groceries), love when you show items where I shop at, thanks, thanks thanks!!!!!
Aldi and Lidl have some of the best, most delicious specialty and store brand food items, especially Lidl, with their freshly made baked goods (Hazelnut croissants are the best!) at crazy inexpensive prices.
I have been telling my daughter we need to stop at Aldi for months but never have time when I pass by it. I need to make time for all those organizing deals and more!
I miss Aldi! We spent half a year in Germany and the UK and it was so cool seeing overlap in the types of European cheeses and meats that they bring across the pond for us! Prosciutto is divine and you can never get it cheaper than Aldi when you’re in America.
I've been on to Aldi for a while. Pottery Barn & Restoration Hardware's insanity forced me to always check stores like Aldi/Ikea/TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Ross for inexpensive home decor & other items (especially Holiday).
I wish I would've seen this earlier. I just left not one, but 2 different Aldi stores!! Gotta love their prices. And their fruits are fresher than Walmarts!!!

I love Aldi. You found lots of great finds. For those looking at the battery operated lights, consider that as they age they need to be recharged more often and longer. I loved the idea of battery operated lights. However, in practice it was inconvenient to always be charging them.
Aldi is kind of a magical grocery/gift/home shop. You never know what you will find and the deals! Thank you for sharing what to be on the lookout for locally.
I can’t tell you all how many things I’ve gotten from Aldi that are up to 50-75% cheaper than other stores. The most recent item was a small pegboard that was $15 and the exact same one (just different brand) at Target for $30. Aldi is the best!
Aldi is literally one of my favorite stores and no one can convince me otherwise. My fiance and I completed undergrad but are pursuing graduate school and it saves us SO MUCH MONEY! it is insane

I love the bamboo storage items SO much better than the plastic!!! But i refuse to get matchy-matchy spice jars only to waste the perfectly ideals jars the spices already come in. The only exception for me are the 3 spices that I buy & use in bulk, & I've got 3 beautiful glass & stainless steel dispenser/grinders for our salt, pepper & multi-pepper&salt spices.

I love Aldi! I highly recommend the pull out wire shelves, when they get them. They only get a limited number of them (one size available, in 3 finishes) but they’re very heavy duty and higher end looking. game changers if you don’t have a pantry, but want an easy way to get to items in lower cabinets.
I love Aldi. They have such great buys for the home. I was eagerly waiting for the gold trimmed arch mirror that everyone wants. It was on sale this past week. I got there early and they were already sold out😩

Redid my entire pantry with the organizers and spice containers. Looks fantastic. Only downside is that the spice jar stickers don't stick well - pick up some chalk labels or other stickers to replace them, they want to fall off.

Redid my entire pantry with the organizers and spice containers. Looks fantastic. Only downside is that the spice jar stickers don't stick well - pick up some chalk labels or other stickers to replace them, they want to fall off.
