AV4 Amphibious ATV 4x4

This is an AV4, a 4x4 amphibious ATV. It is not made anymore, but I always liked it. It came with a 16 or 23 hp. engine, and a KT-35 skid-steer transmission. The 23 hp. was the version to get. It had amazing water speed, I believe due to the fenders and no middle (6x6) wheels. Rear axles were directly coupled to the transmission output shafts, excellent for redundancy. If you broke a chain to the front wheels you could keep on trucking.

They had some thing similar when I was in schools the shop teacher put a snowmobile engine in one talk about insane added about 60 to 70 hp would blow donuts and hit 40 mph a site to see in back of the school with snow on ground

Yes it would have been a good option. But the Kt-35 did have some excellent features, but it needed external disc brakes to eliminate the brake fade.
