Great video, I just bought a fireteam and found this channel (stoked!!). Bummer about getting kicked out of the park, I would have asked him to show me on his phone where it says no rc cars at central park. But you most likely handled it the right way, I hate authority. You ended the video less than a mile from my house, dam that red light! I just built a ramp with all this rain and was thinking of taking it over there...

Thankfully so far everyone's been really nice at my local park. Waiting on someone to complain though. Recently got a Typhon 6s which I've had a lot of fun with. I hear your pain, Earl. I too have great difficulty finding a spot to run my RCs. Unfortunately for me, I live in NYC. And, the area I live in, has few parks. And those spots are constantly full of people. And, to make matters worse, the city had the bright idea of renovating the one spot I used to go to with my RCs. If you know how construction projects are in NYC, once they start, they never seem to finish. I also don't own a vehicle. So, my options for running my Rcs are few and far between. It really sucks!
Understand and agree with being respectful. I’d prefer the parks use the yield to others for shared use. Horses / bikes / runners / hikers / … It worked fairly well in previous locations I’ve lived. For many reasons during our last move we decided on 30 acres. About 8 are flat and 22 hilly forest with rocks. A little bit of bashing and speed area, some crawling area, and flying area. While not ideal - even have about 1/3 mile paved road along the field for on road runs.
Yes I also have friends that own property with large field set up an rc running area for us just a couple hours away nice to have the space on your own land 👌👌
@@lexsteel12 Thank you - I agree. I’ve lived in many places from major cities to rural areas and appreciate what each offers. For now this rural lifestyle is winning. It was nice to see that the Park Guys were basically pretty cool about this giving you a quick rip before leaving …. I personally ….down here in SW Florida have many parks that seem to allow RCs because the only thing the local LE and Park rangers want to do is check out the particular RCs I’m running that day from 7th scale on up to my XMaxx…. I’m grateful for that for sure ….. It seems that you have this Beast dialed in pretty well Earl… thanks for sharing……. ☮️Out!!👍🏻👍🏻
This is all bullshit, it’s soooo frustrating. They make a spot for everyone to do their thing, dog parks, rc fields, bike paths, BMX tracks, skate parks, pickle ball, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc, etc. They don’t give us a place to run, and then get mad when we show up somewhere. Sometime it’s just enough to make you want to get out of the hobby.
Right land of the free that we pay to build and maintain the parks but sometimes they say you can’t play there for two month sign where on that grass area saying no use for the concert they had there but I guess some feel they can make up laws that just don’t exist but they try and in force 🤷🏻♂️👍👍
Are you crazy? Obviously a park that bans drones and planes would be banned to ground vehicles. Except for it not being obvious in any way and all. I’m just glad they didn’t complain about grass being torn up, while 500-650lbs of dudes were riding in a 1200lb side by side. Frankly I’m surprised all city parks haven’t banned them. All it takes is one person running recklessly or having a glitch, someone gets hurt, and goodby park use for everyone. I luckily live in the boonies where no one cares what you do, and have enough property to run my cars unimpeded. Except for my wheelchair that is. I’m limited to running where my chair can go. If I flip one I have to be able to reach it, and my chair slips on carpet. Now if I can come up with some Badlands for my chair….
Yes and the 3k ppl that where camping on that same spot and parking there RV’s on that spot two weeks ago lmao 😂 and all the dogs peeing on the ground ⚠️⚠️👍👍
Definitely is my rights to play there but didn’t feel I needed to prove anything as I’ll be back tomorrow as I’ve always done for 5 years now unless it’s voted on as a law in my community I’ll keep going back 👍👍
I'm sure some of your tax money goes to help maintain that park, but because more people like a dumb ass sport like soccer or football, you don't get to use the park to run your rc which is BS.
I've had to go to websites and look-up city and county codes/ordinances for their parks since as you say, signage doesn't cover everything. Where I grew up and where my parents live RC is prohibited in city and county parks, but the signs don't call it out. Fortunately where I live now there are no restrictions in the city codes/ordinances. However, I actually have seen some parks in the city where signs actually prohibit it, but that is more the exception. I suppose though if a city worker, maintenance person or someone who might work in a community center located at the park were to have issue with me running an RC, I'm sure they could come up with reasons and the police would back them.
True police will back the workers at the park as I linked a sherif kicking me out of a skate park then telling me he would look the other way and I can go run when he leaves but if a park adds a policy the people in the city doesn’t vote on we can dispute it at the next local city meeting it’s a lot of work but I truly believe if I’m forced and not asked to leave and everytime I go back I’m harassed into leaving I will go and fight for my right to be there as no city want ppl playing in the streets rather in a park for there Safty and fun for all but great point you’ve made 👍👍

rangers want to do is check out the particular RCs I’m running that day from 7th scale on up to my XMaxx…. I’m grateful for that for sure ….. It seems that you have this Beast dialed in pretty well Earl… thanks for sharing…….
☮️Out!!👍🏻👍🏻
Nice 👍
Man it's hard to find a good bashing speed run spot
Yes
That's the biggest problem for this hobby, I think.
They was nice
If people were jus like that it would be such a better place
Yes I agree cool guy 👍👍
Would have told them to kick rocks, they ain't police and have no authority over you brother. That park is your also
Definitely is my rights to play there but didn’t feel I needed to prove anything as I’ll be back tomorrow as I’ve always done for 5 years now unless it’s voted on as a law in my community I’ll keep going back 👍👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 good deal brother don't let em run you away. If it's law I understand but just being tyrants isn't ok.
@@earlmoorhead5555 if you get a chance check out spitting cobra cop watch, his voice is almost exactly like yours.
Yes 👍 I agree
I'm sure some of your tax money goes to help maintain that park, but because more people like a dumb ass sport like soccer or football, you don't get to use the park to run your rc which is BS.
So many things to say about the "enforcers" ... man you ain't hurting nothing and they got nothing better to do. Get out of Californian
Yes soon I’ll retire and leave 👍👍👌
