I am a korean chef in china and we do the same technique as this jajangmyeon. So many costumers loved it, as you said "it doesnt mean its cheap it is low quality" that is one of our best seller.

This is why your channel grew so fast. This story based videos are so interesting. Also with insightful explanations of the food. At the end it was funny, but man it still must give you a lot of anxiety.

Paldo is about as good as instant jjajangmeon gets. But it's still very far from real Jjajangmeon. Just like with ramen, the real thing is at least 10x better
As a solo traveler eating at places like this is the most intimidating to me, but it has ALWAYS been worth it. Thanks for this series, my list of places to go for my 4th visit to South Korea is growing steadily.

@@NamaDoodoo Well South Korea is the only distant country I've visited this often, so I suppose it would be my favourite. So far I've only stayed in Seoul, Busan and Jeju, so now I'm hoping to do a kind of tour of the mainland. Aside from South Korea I'd recommend Sweden and maybe Italy.

the way you describe food is always soooo satisfying. I’m currently a sophomore in college, and I’m always on the lookout for delicious food in restaurants or cooking it, and as a starving college student (in so many aspects rn in my life) I always feel full watching your vids.
The intro is just *Chef Dooby's kiss*. The narration is just golden, taking down notes so I can visit some of the places you go to when I get the chance to travel after pandemic. :) And the bloopers was just wholesome and got some secondhand embarrassment from it HAHAHAHA

I fell in love with Jjajangmyeon the first time I tried it in Incheon. It was already really good, but I think you just elevated it into ✨ another level ✨ with the way you described it. OMG!!! I was surprised you would visit 의천각. Once I saw the title, I've assumed you would go any Chinese restaurant in Seoul. But, you visited 의천각! This place is the best hidden Chinese restaurant. So glad that you did not order just regular 짜장면 because people always visit 의천각 to eat 간짜장.

I don’t think she’s Asian American. She’s Korean, her family still lives in Korea. She went to an international school in Korea and went to America for college, that’s why she speaks English so well.

Your head will explode if you ever get to try the actual jjajangmyun, especially if it's top tier

OMG!!! I was surprised you would visit 의천각. Once I saw the title, I've assumed you would go any Chinese restaurant in Seoul. But, you visited 의천각! This place is the best hidden Chinese restaurant. So glad that you did not order just regular 짜장면 because people always visit 의천각 to eat 간짜장.

Honestly, it depends on the cook. I got some from a korean restaurant nearby and omg, SO good. It goes very well with danmuji or fried dumplings.

I’m Chinese but I love the “Korean Chinese Food”!! I used to go to the “ktown” equivalent in Beijing to have it. Now I go to LA ktown for it. They are wonderful remakes of some Chinese dishes, and I just love the change in flavor of them. Yummm
