The first thing I could think of when Glitchtrap took the baby is William saying it’s time to go on a killing spree for glitchtrap is the victim.
Well, it does make sense for Mikey to go with William.... After all, the phantoms can't hurt you, at least according to the game. Only Springtrap/William can. And he's Mike's dad.... So yeah, probably safer then any other location. Although the Nightmares, never leaving the house, are basically built-in babysitters in a sense... And if someone tries to take Mike, all are perfectly capable of defending him, tooth and claw.
They wouldn’t dare come near him, not with the nightmares terrifying appearance, though I think if Chris wasn’t there he’d be scared
