Great reaction, Dexcore is amazing band. :) There are many amazing rock and metal bands in Japan. If I can recommend some of them, from such heavy stuff maybe you will like Darrell and their song "Inferno", also heavy, but not that much, they have some metalcore elements, is band The Gazette and song "Blinding Hope", from some different stuff, some symphonic/epic/power/speed metal without harsh vocals, I recommend band 摩天楼オペラ(Matenrou Opera) and song '真っ白な闇がすべてを塗り替えても" (Masshiro na Yami ga Subete wo Nurikaete mo). It would be great to see your reaction to these bands. :) Oh, and I'm your new subscriber! :D
A lot of amazing Metal Bands come from Japan. Dexcore are a killer band! Their music is amazing! You need to check out their songs “Brainwashing” , “Earthworm feat. Makito from Victim of Deception” , “Self-Hatred” and “DRAGOUT”.
I'm only commenting because no one has suggested Jiluka. Dexcore has been my favorite band since I discovered them Dec. 1, 2020 (yes I remember the day; Dexcore forever changed my musical landscape that day). The reason I bring this up is because Jiluka are the only band to even come close to taking over Dexcore's #1 spot for me.
If you want to both check out more unique Japan metal and be completely overwhelmed by over stimulation, I'd recommend the song 'Black Ice' by the japanese band 'Paledusk'. They are an incredibly talented group that are unbelievably unique; nobody is doing what they're doing atm.
I suggested them a couple times. ‘Brain Washing’ and ‘DRAGOUT’ by them are a must listen.
