From what I heard is that the reason why they didn't win Worlds 2017 was because they had a low score in pyramid technique and got a lower score in pyramid and Cheetah's and Steel's pyramid scores were higher than TGLC's

They lost because of one major building fall and that's a 4 point deduction while cheetahs have 3 point deduction due to tumbling busts and steel just hit a perfect routine. Overall, tglc still had the highest raw score in worlds 2017 even with a low pyramid score and low stunt score, which got affected by the stunt fall. Check the scoresheet.
