I used to baby it but now I realize it’s very durable. Obviously I still take care of it because it wasn’t cheap and I want it to last and look good.
I've got it in two shades - black and brown. What I love about this bag is that it fits to an elegant outfit (yet it makes the outfit a little more chill) and also to a casual style. Like a chameleon :)
My Dooney wallet is over 30 years old. I love the all-weather leather, and the purse price tag under $300. When I’m in a store that carries Dooney, and pull my ancient wallet out, I get from everyone around, I love that . . . Where did you get that? I say, it’s when I bought it, not where. I am on the same search! I want real leather, neutral color, long and slim . . . Marnie, if you ever find that wallet, PLEASE make a video!

Chloe bags are beautiful! Love that color! I highly recommend Loewe the next time you want an understated high end bag. I recently got the Puzzle from Neiman Marcus at La Cantera. The leather is so amazing and buttery! San Antonio is so saturated with LV bags(in my opinion) that it’s nice to have a luxurious understated bag that’s not so common.
I actually appreciate how difficult it is to open this bag as I believe Chloe made it this way so the bag doesn’t pop open when holding it by the top handle. The Louis Vuitton Cluny bag has a magnetic closure and one of the complaints of this bag is that it pops open when carrying it as the handle is pulling on the flap 😊
Love that bag. Perfect color choice. I got a knockoff to see if I liked it but purchased the black and don’t use nearly as much as my tan Chloe mini backpack. Love that brand. Casual but super chic

Thank you for your review as I am also eyeing on this bag. I love this bag since it’s released but I didn’t take the plunge to buy it. However, it cannot get out of my mind and I am still loving it. Even it’s a possible for Chloe to stop producing this style (like the Chloe Faye backpack), I still think it’s worth buying it as an everyday bag. There is another Chloe Faye day bag review on UA-cam with a normal magnetic clasp. I wonder what’s wrong with that bag.
If you like the Pochette Metis, you should consider the Coach Cassie. It's very, very similar in design, comes in many beautiful colors, and costs a mere fraction of the price of the PM. You can usually find it on sale, too, either at Macy's, or the frequent Coach sales, which makes it an even better value. I have a PM, but I also have THREE Cassies!! Enjoy your new bag.

I believe your wallet is by Hobo...... Hobo makes great wallets. Really cool leather and definitely have slim wallets. They also have a really good price point.
It’s a beautiful bag. Last week Gilt had a few for $899 new. But this week $1400. Personally I would rather spend the extra from a reputable store fo lots of reasons.
I wish I could afford that for a handbag. My most expensive handbag is $300 by coach and I’ve had it for ten years. I live in San Francisco and I’m worried someone would steal it 😼
symmetricalastic when I lived in the Bay Area, the only kind of bag I wore in the city, was a cross body. I completely understand. I live near Fresno now. Smaller, but not a lot better, as far as crime goes.

I purchased this bag (in Mottey Grey) instead of the Pochette Metis also. I think it fits a lot more than the PM and the handle is more user friendly.
