So powerful. We need this back in 2024
Reminds me of that beat when you first walked into the club and you just KNEW the night was gonna be awesome...
Yep, that pretty much sounds it up.
Very accurate my man! That and some goosebumps and excitement followed then the night was epic!
if you've always wanted to know what 2002 and 2003 really sounded like this 2cd compilation is your time machine. dirty, dark, trippy progressive house at its peak without any compromise. simply bad ass even after 20 years
YES YES YES
"dirty, dark, trippy progressive house" = absolutely lethal, addicting combos and my all-time favorite
another golden example for this era is
transport 6 (2xcd) mixed by trendroid
@@balazs9245 Thanks! Can't wait to check it out!
So many heavy hitters in those days. I was just playing some Satoshi and got inspired to buy this album again. I think this was the peak of progressive.
Nothing can sound as explosive as a good quality old skool progressive house.
if great music is anywhere, then what are doing in here?:)
Sorry but you are simply wrong. Every movement has its beginning, its peak and its downturn. Electronic music peaked long time ago. It has nothing to do with us "being old" and it has everything to do with the lack of creativity. There are simply no new electronic music genres out there, we explored absolutely everything in the last 50 years. Rock music also peaked, everything you hear today is just a repetition of old music.
verapamil07 absolutely agree with you
@@verapamil07 Your ears peaked long time ago but now they can't tell the difference between great quality music and out of date one... It's sad because you're missing on the best electronic music that has ever been made.
.. or we just old now, but young back on 2004-05.. :)
That pure dark and progressive sound which blew my mind those days. Im into it ever since
this is one of the best cd mix i have ever heard in 25 years...truly one of a kind...!!!!! ...
so true... always back to this album..
listen to it at least once or twice a year... have been doing so for over 15 years!
There is almost no John Creamer & Stephane K mixes not worth listening to one of a kind artists in my top ten favourites Thumbs up
All that progressive house was groundbreaking really - some amazing tunes and deep as hell beats. There must be similar sound and creativity these days but I've not heard much of it. Bring me back Stephane K, Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, Danny Howells, Satoshie Tomiie and the like - AND many more producers whose names I forget in place of the DJ's who play their stuff! Any other recommendations of current producers creating similar sounding awesome music?!
+kaizenkowboy 1:04....Waaaaahh :)
+kaizenkowboy
Futureshock, Simon & Shaker, Piliavin & Zimbardo, Kingkade, Nukem, Amani vs. Teapot, Roman Lieske, Saeed & Younan, Sleepfreaks, Gainer, Lexicon Avenue, Drax & Gooding, Hardy Heller, Litlle Green Men, Mara, Ben Camp, Scanners, D-Formation, Peace Division, Peace Process and many more 8)
This sound cannot be found in current house music, sadly. There are other djs you might like from present, like Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Cid Inc., Kintar, Loquai, Hernan Cattaneo, Simon Vurambon, Silinder.
Those mentioned by you and shala358 are gold and probably their style will not come back, have no idea why because was totally awesome. Now people care more for djs than for their music. Meanwhile I keep listening to 2000-2006 tracks.
Golden age mates!
Classics will never die, it was the golden age, late 90's and until 2001 was the time for the best ever produced progressive house and trance but times do change as well as styles and genres.
I still love progressive and still play it whenever I can.
The sounds of ecstasy and nightmares. I love it.
How come these guys are so timeless
To listen to this again gives me tingles for their creativity
True masters
yeah this is how this shit was rollin' back then, it is just good stuff, like there was 60's rock, this was down with the progressive in those days.
today I was like "today i wanna listen some good old house music". they didn't disappoint me
I am so high and came across this gem… I guess god does exist
I would give my life to come back to the past, being in a party listening this music... additives would be welcome...
A time machine and party prescriptions il come too.
i spin this style: www.twitch.tv/andy_russell
Man, it's so sad to hear the crap these guys make these days when they were responsible for absolute gold like this in the past.
It really is! Now it is half comercial.
couldnt have said it better......!
The tech house?
there s still soem dope sound produced
I saw Creamer & K in Osaka in 2002 with Anthony Pappa. Wicked good set. Met them afterwards. Nice guys. Very down to earth and just happy to talk music. Good times.
Miss this kinda music now.
Unreal killer bass
I've never heard anything by these 2 I didn't like. Fantastic production

Thank you
Have a ton of new stuff out and coming out . One love
The sound of NYC, the sound of the world post 9/11. Scary times, but progressive and trance would hit their peak in those years. Tribal and balearic elements were also part of the golden era, as well as techno and house obviously.
🎧💔EF💔
I always come back to these compilations and all i hear is "The Matrix sound" (that's what i used to call it when i was 14 .. discovered progressive when i was a kid) ... it's sad to think this era of music is a closed chapter already and now we have that melodic crap being played at Burning Man ... modern progressive djs should come back to this sound ... period !
Dopeness retained in current year: 100%
❤❤❤❤❤EF❤❤❤
Progresywny rock, progresywny house, ten styl jest mi najbardziej bliski, pozdrawiam wszystki ktorzy go kochaja/
That music style is my love, is my passion, i wish best for people which love the same music. Make music not war
+upinflames81 and you wish the worst for people who don't? trolololol
+Kiran Parmar Yes ;)
just got this album in vinyl in the mail. discogs is crack. 500 prog house records in about a yr collected. my mac and traktor just sits there now. i love dnb and some newer techno but everything i have after 2005 just isn't as timeless as the golden yrs 96-01.
i totally agree, i don't get it. there is still some good stuff here and there but that era of late 90's early 00's i don't understand, just pure magic
Is there a mixed version of this on vinyl? Can only see unmixed on discogs??
Need it!!
@@russyJ20 i don't think so mate. even the vinyl is not the complete set of songs in the mixes. the best way to listen to the mixes is the old cds honestly. they will sound better than anything online.
@@robertpurvis6106 Realising this now, there are no DJ mixes on vinyl.
Just a limited selection of the tunes from the mix. Kind of nice though, hearing the in/outros of the tracks
@@russyJ20 also suggest if you like a song to search if a dub mix was made. very popular in the early 2000's to have dubs that start on a beat. they also usually took out any vocals and chopped up chords and riffs. makes nice for mixing when the beat is at the beggining.
great mix tks4uploading and tracklis also
Jujj nagyon köszönöm kb tizenéve keresem... Sárga cdnek neveztem el ,mert nem tudtam ki az előadó! I love. 😍😍😍😍😍
