"Never do an enemy a small injury. For it must be noted, that men must either be caressed or else annihilated; they will revenge themselves for small injuries, but cannot do so for great ones; the injury therefore that we do to a man must be such that we need not fear his vengeance." Luke should have read Machiavelli and put an end to Rag.
Thank you for the reply , it’s amazing man , the story is absolutely incredible and the way he narrates puts you right there in it. keep up what you guys are doing it is a excellent story
Isaac: "What the hell, man!" Luke (after cracking up): "Don't worry, man, I don't have a woody for you. It's a woody for me!" Ahahahahaha! this cracked me up. Good to know that humor is still alive in an otherwise bleak, post-apocalyptic scenario. Even if it is teenage boy humor! LOL.
@@ScottMedburyAuthor Wow, I am honored to be contacted personally by the author. This series has been a real rollercoaster of emotions for me. One minute I'm laughing, the next, I'm crying, then I'm screaming at my computer screen. It's a good thing I'm here alone, otherwise I would have been carted off to the looney bin days ago! - love these kids! Thank you, Scott, for this heartfelt and very well written series. I laughed so hard at that scene, there were tears rolling down my cheeks. I remember what it was like to be a teenage boy and the interaction between Isaac and Luke is spot on!
I'm listening to these for the second time. I always pick up something I missed. Also it is just as, if not more exciting than the first time. Thank you sir, from a transplanted South Texan. 😊
Jesus christ why wouldnt he kill rag. If no one else. Why wouldnt luke kill rag after watching him snap sonnys neck. This makes no sense. This part has taken me out of the story.
I dont care for the girl ones. The girls in women written ones go thru every question under the sun. That you already know they are thinking but what the hay. I hate that although im a girl lol. A couple i couldnt finish because it drove me nuts. A single thought question yes a dozen NOOO
This is some of the best reading I've heard in an audioboook, the voices are top notch
This is a very compelling series... I even shed tears for the fallen...
My heart is beating so fast! This is so suspenseful!

I agree with you buddy. And ended the gang leader when he had the chance... lessons for survival!
Yeah Adam kills it on narration. Awesome story I’ve been hooked. My hour long drive to work is like to short now
He does, doesn't he? Thanks Daniel.

Great book Scott
Rag reminds me of that psycho guy with the bowtie in Banshee.
You're not the first to say that! Great televison character. Loved the first two seasons of Banshee.
Yes!!! Yes!!
I thought he reminded me of 'Machine' from the film '8mm'

Im hooked
With all the stuff going on in the world today im thinking this is not to far off from a very real possibility of what could be our future...
Hopefully not Tim, but there are a lot of worrying things right now.
Leeroy seems like the kinda guy to completely ignore a intricate detailed plan and run straight into the problem headfirst
