I just completed my run of it today and you don't need to have the items personally just be around the area and connect to the orbs while others are doing 'em.

Use what you have and stay at the alter and someone how does have what you are missing will give you the credit. Make sure to check using the macro to know if you completed it. For example. For sin alter, I didn't have pet. For Void, I didn't have the pet, cape or toy. I just used the cape that looked similar to it and waited for someone to come to the alter and I would check my macro to see if credit given. I would move away from the altar at the void alter because that one at first wouldn't give me credit but then when players showed up, I went back and finally got the credit. Good luck.
it actually helped me a lot because i didnt had the darkmoon toy and the darkmoon fairie will be next week or so. i can confirm i still got completed / true even without the ring
Thanks for these Connor, Whether it is stuff needed for this that I forgot I had (or didn’t know I was near to getting), or had no idea could be used for (like Baa’l from the Waist of Time) it just goes to show that even with 20 years in (well, nearly 20 in EU) there are still things to finish off - given how many chars I have with T2+ Inns in their garrisons the fact I never got the Void Totem is bewildering. Anyway was fun to do with some precious time to myself on my IRL ding day. For those finding it hard just remember it is a 20 year celebration secret for all things WoW so it was never going to be straightforward.
For whatever reason the void altar isn't working. I've tried several void pets, the exact cloak, similar cloaks, the music box and the void totem and not a single one gives me the magnifying glass. No idea what to do at this point.

I’m also having trouble with the void part. I tried the same pet and cape mentioned in the video and I only have the music box of the three toy choices still not working, but all the others worked perfectly with this guide
Most people won't know about this but if you're having trouble with this: you need to be at the altar and use/bring them out one at a time. I found that it won't work (you won't get the emote) if you arrive their with the items/pet/mount already in use/out. You have to use them AT the altar one at a time.
Great guide...just two things: 1) The void- pets didn't work for me (void-scarred cat, toad, anubisath) so I looked up the wowhead guide and they used Lesser Voidcaller - as soon as I brought that out it worked 2) The cape is the black one, not the one pointed to in the video
Dunno if any1 has already said that .but for the succubs part you can use the romantic basket toy instead of the novel,just used it and worked wonders!
For people who dont know, u dont actually need to get all the items, you can cheat a little just by standing there with the torch and waiting for other people to match what you need, thats what i did on void and blood, i just had 1 pet and nothing else, but waited and when others completed i did too, so dont bother trying to get all. Note: Dont need to be on group for this to work, it works just for being close to the altar with torch toy
Or even if you have ONE of the items it might help with the others. I was in the middle of putting everything on. I got the pet out and as soon as I summoned a mount, it counted for us all so someone else might have had the toy so if you can help out, do as much as you can and let someone else finish :)

I have found out that you need the Pet Battle to get the chest at the end. but I recommend to get all of them complete before the chest so you can collect it after pet battle struggel so your not missing out free and easy quest complete before the chest part.
omg this is my life saver, i was going crazy trying to figure out why i couldnt see the chest! I ran script and got all altars but still no chest, zoned, reloaded, exited, everything, still no chest... my gut told me i probably am missing something and this is it! not a single person in wow or on wowhead guide that i could find had this answer!
For corruption That cloak can also be gotten from the first boss on 25 hc endless springs. The cloaks are overwhelming corruption. Accursed tome of the Sargerei can also be used.
I'm stuck on the succubus part. I've mogged naked, removed gear, kept my weapon, removed my weapon, nothing. I'm gonna have spend a little extra time figuring out what I did wrong. On the bright side last night, the RNG gods FINALLY let me defeat the battle pets! It was a bit of a squeaker but a win's a win! Thank you for your vids! They are super helpful. That script is awesome too!
If you have it, I highly suggest moroes' polish. I found the transmog wasn't removing the flame above the succubus until I used it. Clothing seems touch-and-go.
Im doing this right now , i noticed i already had the sin altar command on true just when i arrived. In fact yesterday i also noticed my 6 o clock had little lights on without doin anything. Dont ask me how but i cant complain 😂 Thanks for the guide you the best !!
@@Camaradacpt me too, but even other altars that show the magnifying glass that indicates that worked, when I run the macro, all altars are still "false". Void Altar do not show anything and I have done all correctly until this step
A note on the Void Altar - I finally got the Void Totem from the Inn and it didn't work - but looking on Wowhead it is not the cloak you pointed at )it is the one to the right) - I swapped my mog to the Obsidian-Flecked Cape because it shares appearance with Cloak of the Black Void and then I got credit and now have the Shaman's Blood. But I had no idea how mad the Void Totem effect was.
The relic of crystal connection gets you into the room with the green crystal above the gate. Lock onto the purple crystal in the room and use the devise.
Hey guys, maybe this will help someone but you can use the following: Corrupted Fire Hawk (or any mount with the word Corrupted), Eye of Corruption (or any pet with the word corruption I believe), and finally for the toy - it worked for me when I used "Accursed Tome of the Sargerei". Try the prompt (in the video description) and see if it says "True"... Good luck!
Hey so, the corrupt altar is not functioning despite my following every bit to a T. I don't know if it's the cloak or if there's a script issue. Same goes for void totem, it does not work. Shadowy disguise seems to be the only functional toy for Void.
so wait you get the 6th orb without using the Ancient Shaman Blood key? cause i just used it on the Enigma Machine. I don't remember if I had 5 or 6 orbs before using the Enigma Machine.

questions and some comments: 1) anyone know if you have to be venthyr covenant to do the back piece for the sin altar? I can’t find the confirmation info anywhere. 2) I got a lot of the pets on the AH, some for like 25g… one I spent 5k on, don’t judge I’m desperate 3) for lust I am having a heck of a time getting it to trigger… is there a trick for reading the book in your inventory? What about for hiding all the armor? Thanks

Actually managed to get this done with some help I made a lfg and someone joined together mostly then we had what was needed next puzzle looks like a pain aswell
Regarding the one where you click the door 1000 times for the 2 orbs to appear well Im at 6 orbs done like yourself yet only 1 of the 2 orbs are on that pillar for me. Do i need to go and finish off or start again I am not sure. Edit Just noticed thew Scrying orb nearby that tells you how many times you clicked it I now have both orbs so Disregard.
It's a shame that the Darkmoon Festival is over and there's no way to make this sketch in its entirety. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this in a group with someone who has this ring?

So if you do not have Cloak of infinite potential you can not get altar to work since other corrupted cloaks does not work and ofc no mount for us who skipped MOP remix... GG
So i've done blood like this, torch first, blood boil, use bloodmane charm into mount expedition bloodswarmer and it doesn't work.. any1 got suggestions? I should have turned warmode off before grinding that trinket for about six hours lol

Funny to do on a dead realm without every single item in the game (: Also even when completing a whole altar the macro says false everywhere (my game is in french but I doubt this affects scripts)
This step apparently had many glitches, or maybe you don't need everthign for ever ystep. For example I got credit without being naked for Lust. I did not have to mog my cloak for Void, and I didn't have to mount a blood mount. I had everything I needed, but cred was given even if I was the only one near an altar.. There was roughly 20 other players running around this area doing it with me at the time.

it seems you need all three toys for the void. I have the cloak, the pet and the totem but it doesn't register as completed

There is a ghost trap in the fel cycle room and when you stay on it and click it a dark version of yourself keeps following you

to void, you can use any cloak that has the same appearance as the Cloak of the Black Void (or it if you have it)

Same here, the shadow/void one didn't work twice for me, the void totem or sylvana's music box isn't working or something.

Apparently there is some sort of timer as by the time I finished the final one, all my quests were marked false again so I have to start over.

Once per day the skeleton will return in the cave. Hope that helps you.

Yea, none of the others let you skip the previous orb so it’s actively checking if the previous is completed.
