- #Pelling is a small beautiful hill town in the district of #West Sikkim, India. Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2,150 m (7,200 feet). The town is located at a distance of 10 km from the district of Geyzing and 131km from Gangtok. A regular bus service connects the two towns. However, with the influx of tourists, the region is undergoing a metamorphosis, with the roads being repaired and hotels being set up. By Air you can get two airports one is in Gangtok Pakyong Airport(Sikkim) and another is Bagdogra Airport (siliguri). By road you can also go Pelling from Siliguri or New Jalpaiguir Railway Station. Lot of Taxi and share car available in both airport and railway station. You can also reach Pelling from gangtok, Namchi,Ravangla, Kalimpomg, Darjeeling.

Situated 5 km down from Darap en route to Khecheopalri. Adjacent to the falls is the Karchen hydro electricity powerhouse. It is the oldest in west Sikkim being constructed in early 70s during the reign of the last Sikkimese King.

The Khanchendzongna waterfall lies 28 km away from Darap en route to Yuksam and 5 km before reaching Yuksam. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sikkim and is normally active throughout the year.

This is considered one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim. The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover. It is believed that birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the lake surface. Ensure maintaining the sanctity of the place by being silent, and by not trying to feed the fish

Glass Bridge is actually over-rated. The statue and the surrounding environment and also the nearby Sikkim's Oldest Monastery are way better.

This is really true. Pelling is really beautiful during monsoon season. I was there 5 days in pelling in monsoon season only to enjoy the beauty of nature. My trip was done within 3 days but I stayed more 2 days in hotel to enjoy the real beauty of nature. Thanks
