Transcendental etude no 8 just has so many goosebumps coming that my hair falls off and in my fav hungarian rhapsody is the 4th
Lol music seems to excite you a lot :D
I Love Hungarian rhapsody no 6, the ending man is intense
I know right! Those jumps and octaves are insaneeee
And it wears down your hands so quickly if they aren’t loose and relaxed. It’s like 6 pages of just octaves.
@@evanding4732 yea it’s just torcher, but not Rachmaninoff’s torture lol, it’s somewhat manageable if you build up the endurance, which is easier said than done 😂
@@jkstuff3458 yeah, Rachmaninov is just hell
@@evanding4732 I’m learning a piece by him that is just displaying how he really is, loud, fast fingers, and octave jumps and all, it’s his etude tableaux op 39 no 6
I also recommend the 9th Hungarian rhapsody, I’m working on it right now, most underrated Hungarian rhapsody and SO much fun to play
Yeah it is amazing!
My favorite Liszt pieces are
-Feux Follets
-Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 & 6
- Transcendental Etude No. 4 Mazeppa
- LA Campanella
And
-his interpretation of Paganini's Caprice No. 24😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 So epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A person with beautiful taste I see :) And pretty similar to mine too lol! Thank you for your comment.
Same!
But i would quit Feux Follets and put Liebestraüm and Consolation no. 3
These are so valid bruh some of my favorites too (although id add liebestraum cuz I can play it)
Reminiscences de Norma is my favorite.
transcendental etude no. 12 is probably my favorite piano piece, it is just so magical and describes a snowstorm almost perfectly.
bruh, that hungarian rhapsody 14 melody really stucked in my head, too.
Etude number 6 and 10 are just magical to me
Absolutely 😪
Here is a small collection of my favorite Liszt pieces! I couldn’t fit them all so I’ll make a part two :) Let me know how many pieces you knew! All the videos I used are in the description! Thank you💜
I love galop in a minor so much
transcendental etude appasionata
Yeah that was is also amazing! I love it!
My favorite (in order from least to best.)
: The little bell
: Hungarian Raspody no 6
: Grand Gallop Chromatic
: Gallop in A minor
: Hungarian raspody no 2
Listen to Reminiscences de Norma. Easily ur top place. The ending is epic
Waaaait a minute... There are TWO Lugumbre gondolas? I know only one...🤔🤔🤔🤔 Well, I share your Lisztmusic taste in every way! I really wonder why nobody talks about HR12. I also love this Rhapsody. Also, untill today I heard only the orchestral version, which is also in my album. But the piano version.... It's beautifull 🤤🤤🤤❣️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 thank you for this video❤️
For both me and you, there is many Liszt pieces we have yet to discover.. but hey we all learn and that’s good :) I haven’t listened to the orchestrated version, I will though thank you :)
Hungarian Rhapsody 12 has another version:
"Magyar Rapszódiák 18, S.242"
My favorites:
- Ballade No. 2
- Reminiscences de Lucrezia Borgia
- Benediction de dieu dans la solitude
- Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6
- Reminiscences de Robert le Diable
Liszt is known to disappoint us, because whenever I want to learn one of his pieces it sounds absolutely amazing but its just impossible.
You had me in the first have 😂
He has plenty of easy pieces.
My favourites are probably:
1. Christus
2. Faust Symphony
3. Sonata in B
4. A La Chapelle Sixtine (orchestral version)
5. Reminiscences de Norma
But I enjoy much of his music.
Feux follets
La campanella
Librestraum no 3 (love dream)
Hungar Rhapsody no 2 (friska)
I know one transcendental etude 4 (douze grandes etude) (not mazeppa) (very intense) (crazy LH overs) (insanity 7notes per second) (jumps very long from high to low very quickly) (3 or 5 or 4 people can play it)
My favourites are galop chromatique (cziffra interpretation) and hungarian rhapsody 2
Both really good pieces!
My favourite liszt pieces are:
1) Feux Follets/Transcendal etude no. 5/Wills o' wisps
Omg this piece is so catchy
2) La campanella/Little bells
Very nice melody
3) Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2
The Cazenda & Friska is so 😫
4) Mazzepa/Transcendal etude no. 4
This piece is a bit catchy but i still love it
We have similar tastes in terms of the HR's! Both my favs
My Favorite
- Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6, 2, 12
- Transcendental Etude No 8, 5, 2
-Romance In E Minor
- liebestraume no 3
-Trancendental Etude d'apres paganini No. 3, 6
-Grand Galop Chromatique
Wonderful video 👏

So intense but beautiful 😪
I love the Norma Fantasy. HR 9, 12 and 14 are my favorites. Transcendental Etudes 2, 6, 11 are awesome. Lastly, I really love Au Lac de Wallenstadt.
Thanks for sharing!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE WILDE JAGD
YUHHHH
I really like "Mazeppa" S100 for orchestra
Oooo great piece!
Fuex Follets is an S tier liszt song.
It’s really good :)
Hi quick question ,remember me?😅, Mee too i love all of it😌
Hello! Yeah Liszt is amazing! Unfortunately I don’t remember you and I feel so bad 😥 Did you have a different username/profile picture?.
The grand gallop chromatique and Reminiscences de Don Juan are also great pieces ;)
not a big fan of the first transcendental etude, but the hungarian rhapsodies are truly magical and beautiful!
That’s fair, Hungarian Rhapsodies are fantastic :)
I play all of those except for the last two ones.
Edit: I also play alot more of Liszt pieces
I love the 8 Hungarian rapsody
Right!? It’s so beautiful
@@Lisztener it's not popular but for an unknown reason I like it
@@wardabdulrahim8960 unfortunately yeah it’s not so popular.
My fav is Chasse-neige.
My guy you forgot to put Sonata in B minor, Mephisto Waltz, Spanish Rhapsody, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6, Mazeppa, and Liebestraum
jk, but those are some interesting choices. I recently started learning Mephisto Waltz, it's my first Liszt piece and I love it so much
Those pieces are featured in other videos of mine :)
There’s so many other good pieces. He has a ridiculous number , I think 700 or 800. Have you heard the piece he did as his retirement from touring to the leader of the Ottoman Empire. Also his Cristus pieces are amazing as well. Also look up S.241 and S.242. Both are fantastic
Hungarian rhapsody no.12 thats my fav
FINALLY yes yes me too ^^ 💜
My favourite is, Spanish fantasy, el contrabandista, and reminiscences de Don Juan
Ooooo Nice! :)
I like spanish fantasy as well but its so difficult I don't think I'll ever play it😢
I know every tradecendal etude and Hungarian rhasphody
Great flex lol
Mine is Liebestratum no.3
In my opinion, romantic pieces are one of the best. :)
@@Lisztener i agree you
@@II-zf3vo You should listen to Liszt “romance S.169” in e Minor :) it’s really romantic too ^^
@@Lisztener oh i will listen that thabk you
@@II-zf3vo No, thank you :)
Liszt is so frustrating because I keep wanting to learn more of his pieces but I can’t because I’d have to quit other ones. Currently working on Mephisto waltz and some other non Liszt pieces
Tell me about it, for me it’s also hard to keep track of my task 😪
My favorite:
(1) Reminiscences de Lucrezia Borgia
(2) Ricordanza
(3) Vallee d’Oberman
(4) Waldesrauchen
(5) Reminiscences de Don Juan
I've to listen to everything liszt has ever written then I can safely say what I like most😂
Nah nah I actually tried to learn transcendental etude no 1 my actual finger nail came off ll on my pinkie too

Your English is pretty good 👍 don’t worry :D what is your first language?
@@Lisztener portuguese.
@@Social-democracia ah okay, unfortunately I don’t speak Portuguese:(
@@Lisztener no problem, i almost know something about english.
Who is playing TE 8??
Hey man
I got serious question 🤨
What's your Favourite Liszt and Chopin pieces and the best composer ofc🙃
For Chopin is might have to be ballade no.1, it may be a basic response but I love many things about it. As for Liszt, I love “Les Cloches de Geneva S.156/3”. And Liszt IS the best composer u-u
@@Lisztener thanks a lot man
@@zucchero3904 for sure! I’d love to know your favorites too if you don’t mind :)

@@Lisztener of course! I love that one because it is so unique and whimsical. Liszt will always be one of my favorites
Makes me wish I chose one of these instead off spending all that time on Pag/Liszt 6
To learn you mean?
@@Lisztener yes I recorded it on my channel, but it isn’t as interesting as the ones you mentioned
@@jacobrubanov4932 I’ll take a look :)

SORRY I’m sorry haha, if it makes you feel better I’ll add that piece in another video :)
el contrabandista lol
Jaja 😂
Nobody saying liszt sonata, come on lol, and what about his piano concertos, hellllooooo
