Debby Perez It was rude before it was funny. It was used to stereotype black women as loud and over dramatic. Now that other groups of people are using it as a joke, it’s offensive because one group of people are brought down by the term while others are praised. Hope that clears some things up and I’m sure there are other people who can explain it more in depth than I did :)
