Probably in the world then?
Simon seems to be back to a good level.
when two tricksters meet
In first game, it's completely clear Gauzy is unfamiliar with Lind. Gauzy is unclear what spin is on the ball, so he returns it slow and kinda high and switches to defense immediately. Surprisingly, Lind cannot capitalize on the slow return. I think Lind likes playing hard and fast loopers, and didn't like Gauzy's passive style. Then Gauzy simply bombs Lind with loaded topspin with high arc. Lind couldn't handle those. He couldn't block them, he didn't kill them. One way to beat Lind, but only if you have the defense and the ability from off the table.
Well done Simon !!! 👏👏👏
Lind to passive - Gauzy did well
Perfect angle
No kick in the dashboard this time😂
🙄🙄🤣🤣
Anders seemed to just stay blocking for some points, Simons topspins overpowered him.
The whole time I was thinking “Simon focuses way too much on spinning the ball, it lost all its power. It makes me very comfortable but people at his caliber would feel comfortable after a few points, then Simon is left with zero game”. But for the whole match, it made Lin uncomfortable to do anything dangerous! Lin has trouble just returning the ball.
Too much variations of spin for Anders to handle
3:59 - Gauzy starts moving closer to the net even before the opponent touches the ball during the serve. How did he know the type of the serve in advance?
Looks to me like he just decided to try a backhand flick based on what serve he suspected and then ended up doing a push (plan b) instead
Brawo Simon💪👊👍🏓
Anders if you read this say hi 👋
Lind why you even play at this level ???
Anders, your legwork is non existant. That's why you lost
Anders is an amateur player.
Show me an amateur that wins a game against Gauzy.. not to mention he made it to the best 8 of the last World championship
Amateur top 30 in the world absolutely
I agree😄
