- Hi my muddy people!!! Welcome to my first collaborative video w Trace from @Tjsclaycreations finally featuring some of her pieces!
I’ve been madly throwing and getting right into hand building and making canister and honey pot as I have 4 markets this month!!! Let’s face it we are all ramping up for Christmas too!
So many of you watched the LIVE (during and on the replay) and you gave Tracey and I such encouraging words letting me know you enjoy my videos and tips so there is another live coming next weekend! Stay tuned! Your kind words help motivate me to keep bringing you all my content!
For those of you that are more experienced, feel free to fast forward to the parts you are interested in. I don’t like to speed things up in my throwing videos as it can be confusing to young potters. I love our growing pottery family so much, it's a great community and we are all here for different reasons...and sometimes we just wanna chat with one another!
From all of my other videos, whether a livestream or an edited version I've been getting to know some of you very well from the comments and interaction...and I LOVE IT!!! I look forward to the day I win lotto and can do my world pottery tour and meet you all, how fun would that be!?! This pottery community has the BEST people, so don't be shy, say hi and join in the chat with the other potters from around the world during the LIVESTREAM or add comments on my videos. I love reading and replying to your comments!
I do my best to answer EVERY question that comes my way! Sometimes it takes me a few days especially with time differences, but I really do try to connect! If I don't have an answer, someone else in this community will! I've learned so much from so many of you!...Thank YOU!
If you are new to my channel, I post a variety of POTTERY VIDEOS; How To…Throw, Organize Home Studio, Trim, add Details etc. and I share other vital studio essentials from Tools, my Favourite Tools etc! I love sharing what I’m doing in my HOME POTTERY STUDIO. Yep, I work out of my basement pottery studio, throwing on Stevie the Wonder wheel, and my ceramic KILN aka Freddy Mercury, is in my garage.
Don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! It’s FREE and who doesn't like FREE! No really, by subscribing you will be notified of all of my uploads and livestreams , not to mention it helps small channels like mine grow! If you’ve already subscribed, YOU ARE A LEGEND!! Thank you! 😘
Sit back, and I hope you LOVE this video! 😘

I just love you two together - such a beautiful friendship 🥰 so many beautiful things but the tea post set Tracey is AMAZING!!!
Trace, your teapot is fabulous!
Thank you so much Linda 😊
Hi Nat and Trace.
Love the kiln opening.
Great job.
The colour combos on Nats mugs are gorgeous and Trace your teapot is beautiful!
I enjoyed watching.
😃
Awww thanks kaz I just love traces underglaze work it’s stunning
Watching your video while drinking my morning coffee! Love the Soft Red and Black Aventurine! 🤩 sorry about the monstera platter…bummer! Love that you both play in front of the camera! I’m with Trace, the lettering without the underglaze looks great..the MKM stamps are deep enough that you can still read them. It’s nice having variety with and without. That black on black marble mug is fab!! Nice job ladies!🥰
Hey Sarah! Oh too late they are already back in the kiln! Decided to try stroke n coat in bisque n see what happens. Thanks for watching hunni xx
Hi girls, love everything in this kiln unload, the marble mugs are stunning! I love the badges and would keep some of them matte. Trace your teapot set is breathtaking❤❤❤
Thanks Julia but too late lol. Ended up adding stroke n coat n putting them in bisque. We will see!
Lovely to see Tracey getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I don’t think I’ll ever get my pottery friend in front of the camera , she’s quite shy .
Beautiful stuff, as usual! Tracy, it's great to see you in front of the camera! I love the tea set!!! Everything is beautiful, but I'd say the teapot was the kiln fave. 💖. Too bad about the platter, but that's how we learn, right? It just means you're pushing your boundaries. Next time will be even better! Thanks for sharing, and giving me a magic day!
Wow kiln fav for the teapot. Thank you soooooo much Pat. 👏😊
Awww thanks Pat and yes def kiln fav teapot! I will try again n always happy to learn.
Dang so sorry about your middle shelf! Ouch, that's so hard😢
Love to see you both on camera. Great swirl Mugs Nat 🌀 Trace i love that it's exactly what you wanted on your tea set its lovely and so unique 🤍🩶🖤
Awww thanks Amanda n thanks for always watching xx
Hey and well done Tracey, your teapot and jug turned out so well.
Love the simple design work.
Mugs are great too, the blue splattered one is my favourite.
Bummer about the platter 😢😢😢 waaah, what a shame.
Take care
Happy potting
Thanks Evelyn. I am so happy with the results. 😊
Thanks Evelyn I will try again lol
Hi Ladies, love the first swirl cup. It's so subtle. Ya, those plaques can be a pain. The Black A is beautiful. Oh, bummer about your plate. So sad! You are the queen of marbling, Sista! Beautiful teapot, Trace! Pretty magnets. Thanks for sharing, Ladies!
Thanks Audrey 😊
Awww thanks Audrey. I love marbelling cause I don’t have to think about glazes lol
I was waiting for a Koala Bear magnet! Just kidding, I mean a Koala!
Haha I love that u know this now!!
LOVE seeing you both!!! I always enjoy the marbled pieces. Hey Nat I was wondering if you ever flip your kiln shelves over and may have kiln wash on the bottoms of some shelves? Maybe the reason for the white “pimples” in your bowl? Trace your tea set turned out fantastic!! I’ve had that set for years and years and would have never thought to have done anything like what you did. I absolutely LOVE IT!! Your drawings are sooo good!! Thanks ladies!!❤
Thanks Michele, I’m very happy with the results. The thing I love about pottery is all the different ideas people have for exactly the same piece, which makes it unique. 😊
Hey Michele no I only
Kiln wash one side but it was on the top shelf too. Weird.
@@mudmagic407 Just wanted to make sure. I sure hope you find out.
@@Tjsclaycreations Exactly!! That’s why this community is soooo amaaaazing. People that don’t do pottery don’t really care to yearn for all about pottery!! Lol
Great unload ladies. Your poor monstera plate Nat, it looks a little like my Starfish dish from my second kiln unload upload I think it was. Slumped and broke into a heap of pieces, so sad.😢. But I'll try again as I am sure you will try your leaf again too.
Definitely will!! Yay have subscribed to u xx
@mudmagic407 thank you! Xxx
Nat, do you use silica sand in your kiln? And is it vented?
I purposefully didn’t this time to see what would happen grrr
Leave the writing unglazed. I've had people tell me they rub the unglazed part like a fidget spinner, lol
Ohhh interesting but too late lol
