Rhythm shooting is only affective on catch and shoot. Against a defender with a pulse theres no way youll be able to quick stop and then use the stick to shoot it takes too long for the shot input to register.

I shoot like 56% in rec in 25 it’s a step down considering I was like 75% in 24 and 79% in the last season of 24 this stuff is hard man yall stay safe tho😭

You don’t need to go all the way up with rhythm shooting. I am a left handed shooter so I don’t know if it is different for right hand but all I do is move the stick left in rhythm and hold it to follow through and it works for me. Also it works for EVERY kind of shot!
Also it works for jumpers that don’t start from the bottom too. I use Jordan Poole hop jumper and move towards the left(I am a left handed shooter) then hold right stick right then in rhythm go down and it still is a rhythm shot
Hey Solo, do you feel a delay going into the jumpshot when you first push the right stick down? I used this for the first 4 days and it felt great but that's the only reason I stopped using this method. It felt great when wide open but the delay on the startup of my shot when rhythm shooting was selling open opportunities especially in rec. it happens on both catch and shoot and off the dribble.
So you have to learn rhythm shooting thats not a secret tons of other people have said that already also its dumb as someone who this is only their 2nd 2k i had just got down shooting now i have to learn a whole new method? Probably will just stop playing not everyone has a ton of time to learn and practice this

Tbh, im starter 2 and playing on not meta iso 6.8 with 83 3pt, having almost 50% in park, so shooting is harder than 2k24, cuz i had 65% with iso low 3pt build whole year, but still really easy this year for sure, and im not using rhytm shooter. No hate or anything, im watching all ur videos, just saying ;)

First year using no meter so I can play at the Proving Grounds
No meter makes it easy to switch between online and offline with no problems (plus the new meter is so hard to time)

If your a spot up it’s ass. Too much delay to just be using rhythm shooting as a spot up.
