Hi @altcappyboi, the floor division operator is used when you need to get an integer as the result of a division. For example, to implement the Binary Search algorithm using a while loop, you need to use this operator to get an integer that will serve as an index (in that case, the result can't be a float). You can see this application of floor division in my new video: ua-cam.com/video/3OIHMTe_Tcg/v-deo.html
An example in a program to convert time, lets say you want an output of hours and minutes for 90 minutes. You'll use it as: 90 //60 to get the hours and % will be the minutes. what I can say is floor division is integer division, like I get how it's explained here but if you do it like how kids are taught, the number that can divide 90 at the top is floor division. I hope this helps :)
Wow your explanation is great, you really break it down. Thanks you so much for taking the time to make this.
same, thanks.

Answer of floor division
Thank you so much. It being the integer value of the division was a better way of explaining it than the course im taking
Thank you, This was a really good explanation and helped me understand floor division
Your explanation is just Cool 🎉i passed my exam bcoz of you having 99/100
Thank you so much this helped me a lot, keep up the good effort.
Thanks for the explanation!
Thank you so much this helped me a lot
I see lots of people explaining floor division but I don't see anyone explaining a case usage for it. How is floor world applied in the real world?
