I mean, if you're talking about Pokémon fanfic with isekai, then you just have to look for it, you can find dozens of very good ones. To name a few: Borne of Caution, I will Touch the Skies, The Type Specialist, Hard Enough (a Brock self-insert, which, ironically enough, is basically what this short is about)
@@xXMaxterMineXx I mean, you may have a point, but the isekai'd character typically is the MC and it's a y/n story. So unless one of the ones you mentioned really is about one of the character we know being the one, it might not interest me. And I would except it to be very meta and for the character not to blend in and adapt to the pokemon world, but to openly use their knowledge to act for about everything.
@@xXMaxterMineXxI've read a fair bit of Borne of Caution (even though I hate the whole concept of fanfics) but it was surprisingly good. For a short run down (SLIGHT SPOILERS) Basically the guy's an animal handling expert that got freaking nuked then got isekai'd and develops PTSD. He picks up a vulpix (a psychic type) that reads into his memories and PTSD they try to work through it together. It's a really good wholesome story that focuses more on realism and mature themes rather than being self-insert fanservice like you might find elsewhere. Such an interesting premise and it was executed very well!
@@clemente3966I don't think it's exactly what you described but Borne of Caution is pretty damn close. He's a zoo-keeper that basically uses his knowledge of handling predatory animals like lions in order to raise pokemon. It's really damn good and focuses more on realism than isekai fantasy tropes.
A Pokéisekai would be an AMAZING story, especially with our boi as it's protagonist, he could narrate the story as well, for additional monotone delivery.
I remember seeing a meme that said Larry from Pokémon and Larry from Ace Attorney had switched places because they fit each other's worlds in terms of design and personality. I feel like this would explain how it happened
Ngl...I need this as a genuine fanfic. Someone needs to write this out and how Larry's Pokemon try and fail to help him out until someone else helps him actually improve and learn to enjoy what he now has.
I'd love to see a Pokémon movie where the champion of a region gets sent to the real world, where he finds out that everything's different and the Government tries to take his Pokémon to study them
I BELIEVE THIS SO HARD HE CHOSE NORMAL TYPES AS A WAY OF SAYING HE WANTS HIS NORMAL LIFE BACK (plus thanks to Legends Arceus we now know Isekai is possible in the Pokémon universe and there are plenty of anime about being isekai'd into video games)
It’s literally me. I file Pokemon taxes. Also reminds me of the premise of Kemono Michi. Pro wrestler gets summoned to a fantasy world, but he won’t fight the demons because he loves animals and wants to open a pet shop.

We need a pokemon isekai now
I know we will never get that trope done without the human transforming into a pokemon in official media, so imma need someone to write a fic about that for yesterday at this point.
I mean, if you're talking about Pokémon fanfic with isekai, then you just have to look for it, you can find dozens of very good ones.
To name a few: Borne of Caution, I will Touch the Skies, The Type Specialist, Hard Enough (a Brock self-insert, which, ironically enough, is basically what this short is about)
@@xXMaxterMineXx
I mean, you may have a point, but the isekai'd character typically is the MC and it's a y/n story.
For a short run down (SLIGHT SPOILERS)
Basically the guy's an animal handling expert that got freaking nuked then got isekai'd and develops PTSD.
One of my favourite honestly
A Pokéisekai would be an AMAZING story, especially with our boi as it's protagonist, he could narrate the story as well, for additional monotone delivery.
Pokemon has isekai games. Both legends arceus and mystery dungeon start with you get isekai’d
i just love it that they used Dio's theme XD
I remember seeing a meme that said Larry from Pokémon and Larry from Ace Attorney had switched places because they fit each other's worlds in terms of design and personality. I feel like this would explain how it happened
Ngl...I need this as a genuine fanfic. Someone needs to write this out and how Larry's Pokemon try and fail to help him out until someone else helps him actually improve and learn to enjoy what he now has.
Just need to make it a harem, throw in a few 1000 year old loli dragons, and a mangaka will be all over that!
@@kaygratv harem being his team, the loli dragon would probably be a Drampa probably, maybe Zorua...I can see it happening.
Bro, Juliana just wanted to interview gym leaders for an assignment, not get an isekai backstory😭☠️
The idea of a real world, cutthroat business man being isekaied into a silly whimsical world is really funny to me.
"Got run over by a pokemon themed bus now im in Paldea" is a great isekai name
Even truck kun is powerful enough to isekai a normal joe😂
I'd love to see a Pokémon movie where the champion of a region gets sent to the real world, where he finds out that everything's different and the Government tries to take his Pokémon to study them
“My life as a businessman in a Pokémon world, not what you’d expect” there’s your Isekai title right there
no matter where you go you cant escape the inevitable billing of taxes
Larry is my favourite character just because he looks out of place, so knowing he actually IS out of place makes it so much better
Larry is just a businessman who was isekaied into the Pokémon world and just went back to doing spreadsheets. XD
Dio's theme was near perfect for this
Me, jumping in front of every truck I see that has a single Pokémon reference on it
"No matter where you go, you'll always bring yourself" goes crazy
Now I just wanna be Larry's underling and do his grunt work. Man needs a nap for the next year or so.
Larry was always my favorite
That's my headcannon now for Larry. A regular old dude from our world that got Isekaied into the Pokemon world
Truck-kun chose Larry as its next victim.
"That Time I Reincarnated As An Office Worker, Again"
Literally Saul Goodman Pokemon version
Who's your favorite gym leader?
Larry
Larry
Larry
Iono

Bro got isekaid into the Pokémon world by truck-chan
larry:*walking to work*
truck-chan:"こんにちは!!!あなたは死ぬつもりです先生!"
larry:"うーん?" *gets truck-chan'd*
Bro gave her a reality check ☠️💀☠️
oh i have to go file pokemon taxes
Imagine being a Japanese truck driver and worrying that one day a random Japanese might jump infront of you because they think their gonna get isekai
Larry just casually breaking the fourth wall
Kid must be forever traumatized, I sure am 😅
I magine his first thought is just "am i dead?,god damn it i'm not"
I want an anime of this man finding his perfect Pokémon partner 😂
It’s literally me. I file Pokemon taxes.
Also reminds me of the premise of Kemono Michi. Pro wrestler gets summoned to a fantasy world, but he won’t fight the demons because he loves animals and wants to open a pet shop.
Larry got isekai’d and just went back to doing an office job, just with Pokémon
Bro never changes😅😅
