I purchased the BOTTEGA VENETA small Brick Cassette bag recently from 24S (fave.co/3WjorMs) (not sponsored).
I’ve been wanting this bag for over a year! It looks chic and is also a rather spacious bag compared to other Bottega bags with similar price. It holds all my essentials and more. Apart from the superb quality of Bottega bags, they also have a wide range of color selections. The one I showed in this video is a newer color called Lotus. It's a pale pink/peachy color.
I do like this bag a lot, but the main reason I have not been able to pull the trigger sooner is because I can only carry the bag on my shoulder (I don't prefer just can hold it with my hands/at the crook of my arm) and the strap drop is still also pretty short for a shoulder bag, even for the longest setting.
However, I still decided to get it. The result is... the shorter shoulder strap drop was still manageable for me with the longer settings, but narrow opening of the bag was what drove me to return it... you may have noticed in the video, I was really struggling to put items into the bag because of the opening is really tight, since the zipper doesn't go all the way to the side of the bag.
My takeaway is, if you don't usually stuff your bag too full, or you don't carry bulky items, the tight opening may not bother you as much. Carrying this small brick cassette bag on the shoulder does look cute and stylish. I guess it's always a trade-off for designer goods.
