Thank you for giving her the time and courtesy to take her off camera
That he let that moment be private was a class act.
Mad respect to the camera guy for giving her space and respect by putting the camera down when she got emotional. Very considerate.
The humility. Love her. Lets kill it at worlds! Soooo pumped for the Courtneys, too! Go Cougs!
Congrats Emma.....That's what hard work and humility looks like !
Such a special person, Emma has earned all of her titles, and demonstrates how a champion loves life more than just her event.
What truly fantastic and revealing response from an athlete who's always been a class act. Great interview, Kyle (?)!
You can't not like her! Not only great on the track, but such a sweet person!
Amazing! So happy for Emma & I hope this helps her show up confident at Worlds!
Gratitude, Grace, Humility…Congratulations Emma!
No matter what happens in the Worlds she will still be the best!
Dang! Those veins on her biceps make her look more like a CrossFitter than a distance runner. Seriously hardcore!

Thanks for this great interview and giving her that moment I get emo just watching some of these performances knowing how much work and perseverance and sacrifice go's into completing at this level and pain every one at this level is working with injury at any given time
LOVE Emma! ❤
I just don't have the words to describe how wonderful and amazing this young woman is... OK, then... FANTASTIC!!!
Good job, last time I saw Emma is when she fell
Emma, you are an inspiration to all of us. You have continually striven for excellence making us proud. It is also appears that you are sweet, friendly and inclusive personally. Thank you and god bless.
What event?
Most people will never know what it takes to come back from a devastating loss. It's so hard that most simply won't be able to. These athletes are premier for a reason and they're truly a special kind of human. Add to that her humanity and genuineness and she takes it to a different level. Very happy for her and wish her much more success in the days and months to come.
Class act.
Emma probably loved snow skiing as well. I think she went to Crested Butte Community HS in CO.
Incredibly talented and dedicated woman. Congratulations!
I didn't think I could like her more.❤🔥 What's with all these champions crying lately? Steph? Emma?
