I have that tail, and i can tell you that you can't swim in it, the monofin it's too heavy and floppy to even do anything in it. I wish i could've saw your video before my family bought it.
I suggest getting the mahina merfin and using that with this tail, it will improve your swimming and the safety immensely, and, add drainage holes in the bottom, this will make it safer, and more like a finfolk fabric tail!

No hate, but I am pretty sure that if all tails were heavy in water, there wouldnt be many mermaiders due to how unsafe it would be if your tail was dragging you down lol

Im getting a tail from there i am 13 and i have had a silicone tail before and so im just gonna look at the tail and probably swim in it as well i cant swim in my silicone one anymore its very small on my body i am probably gonna replace the mono fin with my mono fin from my other tail but i have got one from there before and its very easy for me to swim in it and its very beautiful its very light and simple for me

I saw a video on instagram swimming in one of these tails and the caption talked about how it was very realistic but the only disappoint was that the monofin was crappy, so I decided to look for them on ebay for dry events (unless I can replace the monofin with my Finis Wave if it fits). I ordered one of the blue ones and later posted it on my mermaid instagram account (@memaidkayana) and then discovered that the designs were stolen and I felt so bad! I don't have it yet but I hope I cn at least put my own monofin in it so it was worth it somewhat. If I want to return it, I'll probably have to pay return shipping too so I will have lost money overall so I'm disappointed that I accidentally bought a stolen design but I hope I can at least take some pretty photos in it.
If you have purchased it already and can't return it, I guess the best way to use it is to get a safer monofin. If it's the same tail as mine, I think a Finis Wave or Finis Rapid would be strong enough to support the heavy drag :) stay safe!

Yeah, it doesn't swim very well unfortunately. I think it was designed more to look pretty than functional. With the price being under $100 it does seem like it's too good to be true :(
Actually I bought one and I've swam in it but you half to know how to swim without a monofin and you need to reinforce the tail and monofin so it doesn't fall apart I took a look at the monofin on mine and the screws needed to be tightened and they come with extra screws if one breaks now these tails aren't dangerous if you know what your doing i suggest you use it for out of water activity's if you get one and if you can't help yourself and go into the water anyways make sure when you go above the water you keep moving your legs so you don't sink (common sense) and when your under move your body in one swift motion all the way down to your toes and try not to bend your knees to much while doing so (that's so you won't be out of breath) its just a printed tail with a floppy monofin and real mermaids don't have plastic in there tails to give them power its just a thin fin and the right body movement if you have any questions about the tail and you want to get one then just ask me ill tell you what you need to know 😊
These are companies that have no names. It would be easier to give you company names that are NOT doing this. Such as Finfun, Finfolk, Suntails, Swimtails, Magictail/
Alyssa Parente My best bet is, if it's a FinFolk design and it's sold on another website it probably is a bad quality tail. Buy from FinFolk, Finfun, or Magictail instead
I have that type of tail, im a pretty strong swimmer and i do great in mermaid tails, however i bought one of these and i could barely swim in it, the monofin was heavy too but the tail skin was fine but ripped off. I got a finfun and it was amazing and its the literally the same price.
I think the only issue is the monofin honestly. I recommend if you do end up with another tail like this... Coat that shit in silicon to add strength. Make a mold over top of it essentially and give it power. The skin itself is probably fine if its just fabric. At least one would assume so.

Usually the Mermaid tails that are sold on Ebay or Aliexpress that are priced under $150 tend to be knock offs that are bad quality. Try shopping for a tail at reputable websites like FinFun, Magictail, FinFolk, AquaMermaid etc
In a perfect world, these sellers would have their a$$es sued off of them twice - once for stealing from artists and again for selling obviously dangerous products. I wish there was more the average person could do to stop practices like this from thriving and preying on people.
I’ve bought an off brand fabric tail and the monofin was garbage, I added a zipper to the fluke and made a silicone monofin to fit the entire tail and I added some vinyl inside of the hip fins, the tail I got was a ripoff of someone’s design but recolored a and slightly modified, the fabric was glued together with hot glue so I removed all the glue and had to sew it back together but it was worth it, the tail is actually swimable now but it’s gone.
Why can't other professional companies put these extra fins on their tails , longer fins and make it look this good?! And also made of fabric. I feel like they could do so much better than what they have .
It definitely would swim a lot better with a monofin like Finis Shooter but it still wouldn't be a good idea to buy it because it's a stolen design from another Mer and the Mermaid community in general doesn't support stolen designs :)

Please do not buy the Black Pearl tail. The original silicone tail owner paid thousands to own that tail and it's a one and only kind. It's not fair for people to steal the design pixel by pixel and profit off of someone else's hard work. I recommend Mertailor's Whimsy Tails. There's a ton of designs to choose from and he adds more tail designs regularly. If Mertailor isn't your cup of tea, I recommend FinFolk Productions. If you wait until fall, they will be making fall themed colors which will be dark and siren like, I'm sure.

Its still not worth it. The tails are awful and the fabric is terrible, they look ugly despite them looking ok from far away. They are extremely overpriced for what you are getting and you are better off keeping you money and saving up for another, better quality tail, and usually they are the same price, if not slightly more but 1000x more worth it

I'm pretty sure if you got a vinyl sheet and laser cut it to match the monofin already inside and use your own monofin like the finfolk fabric tails instead of the diver flippers, you'd be able to swim better, at least i think
I bought one before I saw this video and i personally don't find it to hard to swim after I inserted my magictail advanced monofin inside it , I bought it because I am really broke and cannot afford a descent looking mermaid tail , after watching this and finding out that there rip offs I wish I had never bought it
The sad thing is that these tails are overpriced for what you are getting. Decent and trusted quality tails by well known companies cost the same amount. So the excuse that you are broke does not work in this situation either.
Yes, you are paying a lot for a tail that doesn't function, but being broke is a good excuse for buying one of these if you ask me, because even though it's more expensive than getting, say, a mertailor Eco tail or a FinFun tail (without buying the monofins that come with them), these tails are much more realistic than FinFun and Mertailor fabric tails. Yes, FinFun and Mertailor actually sell functional, swimmable fabric tails, but the look of those tails doesn't compare to these. If you replace the monofin or only use it for dry events like parties and photoshoots, it is well-worth the price. FinFolk fabric tails are incredibly beautiful AND functional, but they're around four times the price of one of these. I'm not defending the seller of these tails because they shouldn't steal other peoples'/company's designs and they should warn people that they are more for dry events and need a different monofin for any swimming done in them, I'm just saying that you shouldn't shame someone for buying one of these and saying "being broke isn't an excuse"
Kayana a finfun tail is actually cheaper and you should never compensate your safety for money. If you're broke, don't buy a tail. Save up, you don't need one immediately. You are wasting your money. Those tails are expensive and cost just as much as the trusted brands. You are spending $100 on a useless tail that will break. Save your money, don't be stupid.
Kayana they are actually really ugly, the design and print is stretched out. Seeing them in real life is wayyy less realistic. My mertailor eco tail is way more realistic than that thin, ugly piece of streteched out pixelated fabric.

Because I watched another video right after this of somebody else unboxing theirs and it looked just fine, and I saw a video on Instagram of somebody swimming in one and the caption talked about how the tail was beautiful and the only disappointment was the monofin. Of course they aren't going to compare to a silicone tail or a FinFolk fabric tail, but $70 for a fabric tail with extra fins and a big fluke is cheap. And like I said before, if you use this for dry events or use another monofin, it's not dangerous and isn't a rip off or not worth the money. And some people will never be able to afford a silicone tail, it's not as simple as just "saving up." Stuff happens. People have to spend money on unexpected expenses- for example, my mom had to pay for my brother to get his wisdom teeth removed and then found that I also have to get mine removed in a couple weeks.
The mono fin is bad but only the skin is so beautifull and worth to buy. im always ask to order only the tail skin and i use finfun monofin to swim with

A silicone tail is a trained tail I'm only 11 and I have one it's like that but it's blue mine is like mermaid lindens well it's exactly like hers and it takes alot of training .

I had a friend of mine suggest I go for one of these scam tails as my first. Because it was as beautiful if not more beautiful than the one I actually purchased just recently. I told him that it was a fake, and that he should quit with the idea. Hate to say it but I’m glad I am right and can show him your video.
The "monofin" isn't even a proper monofin, it looks like someone bought some cheap-ass child's flippers, made a fin design out of a thin sheet of plastic, and then just glued it together. Like... wtf?
If you look on Ebay, Amazon, Aliexpress, a seller who sells fancy mermaid tails under $100 usually should be avoided. It's always helpful to check reviews to see actual photos of the product :)

I have swam in. Tail almost every day it is so easy for me and can not swim very with out it so maybe try swimming with just the fun instead of the actual fin and then put it on it is easy

Hey I have some questions? Bonzana, I think it's called. I see a lot of tails from them. I looked them up and it does seem they are a bootleg. I tried on brand but they were either sold out, or just didn't have what I was looking for. I wanted to know if it was worth taking a chance? Or if anyone has gotten one from this place, and if so could tell me about it?

Usually the Mermaid tails that are sold on Ebay or Aliexpress that are priced under $150 tend to be knock offs that are bad quality. Try shopping for a tail at reputable websites like FinFun, Magictail, FinFolk, AquaMermaid etc
In a perfect world, these sellers would have their a$$es sued off of them twice - once for stealing from artists and again for selling obviously dangerous products. I wish there was more the average person could do to stop practices like this from thriving and preying on people.

My mom just bought one on eBay for me it was like black and rainbow but I don't know if it's from finfolk I'm wondering if I should cancel that order
I’ve bought an off brand fabric tail and the monofin was garbage, I added a zipper to the fluke and made a silicone monofin to fit the entire tail and I added some vinyl inside of the hip fins, the tail I got was a ripoff of someone’s design but recolored a and slightly modified, the fabric was glued together with hot glue so I removed all the glue and had to sew it back together but it was worth it, the tail is actually swimable now but it’s gone.

This is actually a swimmable mermaid tale it is just you have to be a pro swimmer that is why you should do more research,and see the reviews
I feel like if it just had a monofin in it it would be amazing . Cause that tail is gorgeous !! It looks so flowy and fish like. And it's vibrant .
Why can't other professional companies put these extra fins on their tails , longer fins and make it look this good?! And also made of fabric. I feel like they could do so much better than what they have .
It definitely would swim a lot better with a monofin like Finis Shooter but it still wouldn't be a good idea to buy it because it's a stolen design from another Mer and the Mermaid community in general doesn't support stolen designs :)

Please do not buy the Black Pearl tail. The original silicone tail owner paid thousands to own that tail and it's a one and only kind. It's not fair for people to steal the design pixel by pixel and profit off of someone else's hard work.
I recommend Mertailor's Whimsy Tails. There's a ton of designs to choose from and he adds more tail designs regularly. If Mertailor isn't your cup of tea, I recommend FinFolk Productions. If you wait until fall, they will be making fall themed colors which will be dark and siren like, I'm sure.

buy a mono fin from finfolk there good cheep and will fit in your tail. make with what you got
Its still not worth it. The tails are awful and the fabric is terrible, they look ugly despite them looking ok from far away. They are extremely overpriced for what you are getting and you are better off keeping you money and saving up for another, better quality tail, and usually they are the same price, if not slightly more but 1000x more worth it

I'm pretty sure if you got a vinyl sheet and laser cut it to match the monofin already inside and use your own monofin like the finfolk fabric tails instead of the diver flippers, you'd be able to swim better, at least i think

I bought one before I saw this video and i personally don't find it to hard to swim after I inserted my magictail advanced monofin inside it , I bought it because I am really broke and cannot afford a descent looking mermaid tail , after watching this and finding out that there rip offs I wish I had never bought it
The sad thing is that these tails are overpriced for what you are getting. Decent and trusted quality tails by well known companies cost the same amount. So the excuse that you are broke does not work in this situation either.
Yes, you are paying a lot for a tail that doesn't function, but being broke is a good excuse for buying one of these if you ask me, because even though it's more expensive than getting, say, a mertailor Eco tail or a FinFun tail (without buying the monofins that come with them), these tails are much more realistic than FinFun and Mertailor fabric tails. Yes, FinFun and Mertailor actually sell functional, swimmable fabric tails, but the look of those tails doesn't compare to these. If you replace the monofin or only use it for dry events like parties and photoshoots, it is well-worth the price. FinFolk fabric tails are incredibly beautiful AND functional, but they're around four times the price of one of these. I'm not defending the seller of these tails because they shouldn't steal other peoples'/company's designs and they should warn people that they are more for dry events and need a different monofin for any swimming done in them, I'm just saying that you shouldn't shame someone for buying one of these and saying "being broke isn't an excuse"
Kayana a finfun tail is actually cheaper and you should never compensate your safety for money. If you're broke, don't buy a tail. Save up, you don't need one immediately. You are wasting your money. Those tails are expensive and cost just as much as the trusted brands. You are spending $100 on a useless tail that will break. Save your money, don't be stupid.
Kayana they are actually really ugly, the design and print is stretched out. Seeing them in real life is wayyy less realistic. My mertailor eco tail is way more realistic than that thin, ugly piece of streteched out pixelated fabric.
+Serenity Scratch do you actually have one or are you basing this off of other peoples' experiences? Because I watched another video right after this of somebody else unboxing theirs and it looked just fine, and I saw a video on Instagram of somebody swimming in one and the caption talked about how the tail was beautiful and the only disappointment was the monofin. Of course they aren't going to compare to a silicone tail or a FinFolk fabric tail, but $70 for a fabric tail with extra fins and a big fluke is cheap. And like I said before, if you use this for dry events or use another monofin, it's not dangerous and isn't a rip off or not worth the money. And some people will never be able to afford a silicone tail, it's not as simple as just "saving up." Stuff happens. People have to spend money on unexpected expenses- for example, my mom had to pay for my brother to get his wisdom teeth removed and then found that I also have to get mine removed in a couple weeks.
The mono fin is bad but only the skin is so beautifull and worth to buy. im always ask to order only the tail skin and i use finfun monofin to swim with

A silicone tail is a trained tail I'm only 11 and I have one it's like that but it's blue mine is like mermaid lindens well it's exactly like hers and it takes alot of training .

I had a friend of mine suggest I go for one of these scam tails as my first. Because it was as beautiful if not more beautiful than the one I actually purchased just recently. The "monofin" isn't even a proper monofin, it looks like someone bought some cheap-ass child's flippers, made a fin design out of a thin sheet of plastic, and then just glued it together. Like... wtf?

If you look on Ebay, Amazon, Aliexpress, a seller who sells fancy mermaid tails under $100 usually should be avoided. It's always helpful to check reviews to see actual photos of the product :)

I have swam in. Tail almost every day it is so easy for me and can not swim very with out it so maybe try swimming with just the fun instead of the actual fin and then put it on it is easy
