- In this video I'm going to show you what I found during two of my thrifting therapy trips to the Goodwill bins. Plus, I found some great items on the curb and one really unique piece on the highway when I was going to Water Street Vintage to stock my booth. I'm sure many would have passed by this item, but I definitely have a vision for this great find!! What an amazing week of thrifting for me! I like to show you the item and then give you my vision for the item and what I plan on doing with it!
I hope you enjoy today's video!

Wow crabby man, books are plentiful
Everytime I watch you I laugh so much thanks 😊 I think you should come on more days a week 😊💕😊
Power thrifting for sure!!!!💪 I'm excited to see what you do with these things!!! Can't wait!!!!
Love your finds cannot wait until Monday 😊💕💕
Super excited to see the flips!!!! 🤩 great finds!
Love that amazing door! You always find the best stuff. Love your channel! ❤
You scored on all fronts. The Bins and the "Found" items. I look forward to your future creations, especially that car door. That car door discovery proves you are a visionary. You are definitely thinking outside of the box.
The containers with the long handles would be so cute with a birds nest, eggs, and a bird! Love them.
Had a fun time thrifting with you today…..interesting and unique finds!!!
You can use a small screw to attach this big metal candleholder you don’t need to weld it.
Awesome finds! Can’t wait to see the door thrift to treasure!! Excellent!
I don't know how you are not at the bins everyday because you find cool and good stuff there (I don't have bins where I live that might be a good thing .) Can't wait to see what you do to the stuff I know it going to be great.
I love being part of your membership and being able to talk through your projects! I was so motivated this past weekend and got a lot done!!
I love the doors 😊💕💕
Sonnet, you can use J B Weld. It’s a putty type you mix together then use it where you need a weld.
Thanks feel like I got invited over to see your loot! Thank you for sharing and boy did you get some great stuff! Love the metal boxes, old suitcase, auto door, furniture…so much great stuff! Looking forward to the flip videos!!
Really really great hauls. I love everything but especially the doors - all the doors! I can’t wait to see what you do with them!
That door is rusty gold! Love it!
You have some great finds. That 3-tier tray is nice, I like your vision for it. You are cracking me up with the retro car door, I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Goodness Sonnet!! You got alot of stuff!! You'll be busy for a while! Great finds!!
Loved the curbside finds!
What an awesome haul! You have a great eye and I love all your ideas.
Good Eye Sonnet! Love the chairs
That wooden holder is for the long fireplace matches. I had one a long time ago.
Lots of great stuff Sonnet.
That wooden box thing that Gary made... right away reminded me of a fancy box to hang on wall to store a box of latex gloves!! Lol
You had an amazing haul!!! Love the door!!! Can’t wait to see the projects and the set up of the event when you’re done. For the “broken” candle holder, I would just wrap some thinner jute twine around it. Maybe tie on a little key for more interest. It’s a simple fix. I live in northern Indiana and while the rain is expected for April but I hoped for a few more warmer, sunny days than what we’ve gotten.
The Kirkland candle holder you can drill a hole and add a small nut and bolt 🔩 and paint or add transfers do your thing 😉
I can't believe all the wonderful items you found! I have to find a Goodwill bins near me. I like the 3 tiered tray and the old car door. Excited to see what you are going to do with that! Thanks for sharing!
Great haul!! Can't wait to see what you do with the old car door. So much fun. I would try JB Weld on the long candle. Pretty easy to use and no welding machine needed.
Awesome finds, love your ideas
I wish I could find a Goodwill Bin Store! Oh the pumpkin totem pole is so cute!!! I used to find freebies in odd places. Yay for free! Good for you!
Omg I can't wait to see the door, you got a lot of awesome stuff
Can't wait to see the projects.
I can’t wait to see how you paint those chairs. I have those in my dining room and have been wanting to redo them. You got a lot of good pieces to do projects on.
Great stuff loved it
Love your road side finds
Great haul. So many goodies. Can't wait for the flips. With that tall candle holder, use JB Weld. You'll have to clamp it until it hardens, but that should solve the problem.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with all your finds .
Great finds!
That is some amazing stuff!
The wood piece that looks like a spindle that had gray or blue yarn on it that's the inside of a shuttle that you use for weaving cool stuff though I will say thanks for sharing good luck with your booth🎉
Great haul! Thanks for sharing.
Love the old door. It's cool. All great stuff.
A great haul!
Fab haul..the wooden spool is an old really from a cotton mill the metal candle holder could be fixed with gorilla glue and I think the Gary von hopping box looks like a tissue box holder and the top of the coffee table is an old cable reel 😜😜
I am really looking forward to seeing what you do with that truck or car door!
Never heard of a rule of one person per bin. Great haul.
At my bins is also by the pound but if there's something super heavy you can ask if they will give you a separate price. It's worth a try! 😊
Awesome haul! So many possibilities for flipping. The little iron w/clothespin reminds me of some recipe card holders I have seen but I'm not quite sure since it's an iron?! Also I think that one wooden holder may be for paper plates if not mail. I love watching your videos and can't wait to see what you do with that car door!
I would drill a small hole in the candleholder and stem then put in a very short flat screw with a washer to help hold it and maybe a little star bond glue before you screw it in tight for extra strength and I think that should fix it. Great haul. Can’t wait to see how you Upcycle them
Love the door specially for Free Maxine. Ok
Great things!
I’m sharing this because I’ve been using the air clay molds and clay for over a year now and 2 tips. When you take it out of the mold, take an extra minute and gently rub around the edges. Before attaching. 2. When you use the molds and plan on needing them to touch. Wait 1/2 day for them to dry and attach. So they don’t dry and pull apart. Make sure they are flat when you dry 1/2 way before attaching.
I bet you could drill a small hole in both the long rod as well as the candle holder part and get the two pieces back together that way - either that or there's gotta be something like liquid metal and clamps until it cures! I love the piece! I got something similar but much smaller - about 19 inches long but mine has glass over the candle holder part. I'm debating between my bedroom and next to my fireplace! Good luck in getting yours back together - it will be amazing!
Excellent haul - congratulations on the door!!!
Instead of trying to weld or glue the Kirkland's candle thing (beginning at the 9:55 mark) - drill a couple small holes (either horizontal or vertical - whatever floats your boat) that will allow you to use a couple interior binding post screws (you can find them in the specialty screws drawers at Lowes or Home Depot). If you need, you might have to cut a piece of wood for a spacer between the two pieces. Paint it all the same color and there you are: a 'new' piece!
I was thinking that, too, but you explained it a lot better than I could have!
Great idea for the repair.
drill holes and use pop rivets, those will lay flat on and you will barely notice them.
Use the JB weld in tubes to weld the candle holder back together
For that metal candle holder you could drill a hole through both pieces and secure it with something like a molly bolt.
Wow it is still winter there ! All our trees are all leafed out here !
Sonnet, I used to have that ornate corner shelf in my home many years ago!
The metal big candle holder you can drill a hole through and add a nut and machine screw. They come in any size. No welding required.
One of your big round barn quilts would so beautiful on that door and displayed in someones yard
Metal picnic box is a desirable find very vintage Liquid weld glue might work on cool candle holder
Good morning. I have a couple of suggestions. You could put a screw in the candle holder to fix that. The wood wall hanger you thought it was to put mail in, is for a Kleenex box. At least that was my first thought when I saw it. I guess you could try putting one in it. If it fits, that's what it's for. If they make Kleenex boxes that size anymore.
That big two piece IOD transfer of that longhorn steer (I think that’s what it is) would also look amazing on that car door!! Good for the guys!
Hi Sonnet! Love the doors. Can't wait to see what you do with them. Need to be careful at the bins. People are vicious.
Sonnet, do you just clean the books up and sell them? Do they sell well for you? I have tried books in my booth yet. Any advice would help
You definitely did some retail therapy
Hi Sonnet love your videos . I have the same shelf but it white and distressed. I found it at the thrift shop for $3.99 and 1/2 off. I really hit the jack pot! Can’t wait to see what your going to do with it ! Marty
I don't generally like hearts or items with hearts on them, but I'd take that one at 13:00 in a heartbeat.
That long copper colored sconce can be glued with J. B. Weld glue. It's not expensive and you can get it at the store or at Amazon
I would recommend getting a cheap purse at Goodwill that has a cool handle for the piece of luggage, maybe a straw purse with a leather handle is one idea.
Drill a small hole through the back of the candle holder part straight thru to flat back piece and put a short bolt through both pieces and secure it with a nut.
You can still a whole in both parts where they meet and use a zip tie and just paint it. Hope
It helps
Nice picking
Sonnet, before you paint the brown bowls, check the bottom for a signature. I found a vintage Munising bowl at goodwill that sells for quite a bit on eBay. It’s burned in like a brand. The company is from Michigan, near you.
Great haul!!
They have a liquid weld that could hold that candle holder, also the accordion hanger can be converted into shelves. I have seen Julie do that with Julies signs and designs, they are very cute
Yes where I am we get a tube of JB Weld, it is amazingly strong.
Maybe try the starbond glue for the metal thing
That metal piece from kirklands: jb weld and clamps!
maybe try some JB Weld on the long sconce? great haul!
For your metal sconce you can use JB weld.
For the candle holder from kirklands get some JB weld glue its for metal
JB weld and a clamp on the copper sconce.
The copper colored broken candle holder could be fixed by drilling a hole in the side of the round candle holder and the back of the long part and connecting with a screw and maybe some heavy duty glue.
It's the thrill of the hunt and getting a bargain. Never gets old. And the challenge of seeing what you can turn something into!!! You always find some really good stuff.
I’ll take the candle holder as well I know how to weld
FYI...Gary VanHarpen, the man who made the letter holder passed away July 15 2015 at his home on Pearl Lake after a short battle with cancer. He owned his own millwork shop called Bridgeview Woodcraft.
Hey , how much do you want. For that 3. Strayed tiered tray stand now , as is ? Gorgeous.
Sorry tirred tray..
Also loved the oval piece, wood and metal, please let me know...
The little corner shelf that was very ornate it is a victorian piece it would be so cute white and distressed. Love everything you got lots of redos... just take a strap off something else and use it on that little travel bag...
Use JB weld to repair large candle holder
Try e6000 on the copper candle thingie.
You had a wonderful haul. Maxine. Ok
On the one you said was broke from Kirklands, put a small bolt to secure it
Nice haul! I think you can drill a couple holes in the huge candleholder & use screws to put it back together!
I do believe that wooden piece you found made by the guy (sorry I forgot the name you said) is a wall hanging tissue box holder. It looks like a box of Kleenex would fit perfectly and it has the perfect opening
Go to the hardware store of look online - I think there is a glue called weld in a bottle or something that can help with your candleholder.
Get some jb weld for the metal broken candle holder.
I can’t wait to see how you flip all of your finds! I love watching flips come to life. 💖
I have missed watching your hauls. This haul was great. I can't wait to see what you do with your new items!❤️
wow , your picked up so many wonderful treasure.. I'm anxiously waiting to see how you incorporate these treasure in to you home.
kquishly waiting for you recycled video.
Wonderful haul! I'm excited to see how you flip all of it. Your excitement always makes me smile.
Can't wait to see what you do with the doors; love the tables you are going to paint and stain.
