Nice video, thanks, and you're right Tesla should have used this approach.
"Which is questionable because of... physics." LOL
Wow super clear rear view image. great explanation, nice product. 🎉
Fantastic video editing job! You made the process fun to watch.
I admit, I watch all these digital mirror videos mainly to see if everyone else also struggled to get that damn shroud screwed back in 😅
Wish you stumbled upon my install video beforehand to help out, it for sure shouldn’t take days to install.
Oh, believe me - I have, I think I've watched a good half of the videos on the web about installation 🙃
Hello, Awesome install... I was wondering how you mounted the camera housing to the actual top of the Cover? What did you use??
Hey, thank you! I used the same tape I used to secure the cables underneath. Just google "double sided nano tape" - this is what you're looking for. For this type of surface (plastic to metal) it'll have an incredibly strong bond + it won't damage anything when/if you decide to remove it later
PS There are thiner and thicker ones - get a thicker one
I don’t have access to to a 3D printer ! What can I do to have the 3D enclosure ?
I think you can download the file, and if I personally didn't have a 3D-printer, I'd go to a local library. They usually have a bunch of them, and you can place an order to print something simple (it's a 3-4h print). Or you can ask Hansshow; they're pretty open to things like that, and they might help as well, I know they're are aware of this installation method and they're working on something similar
@@leoenin thank you
Leo anyways you'd sell me a camera housing? I don't have a 3D printer...
Relying on my 3D printing capacities is probably not the best idea 😆, but if I were you I'd go to a local library, they usually have a couple of 3D printers, OR contact Hansshow BEFORE buying it, afaik they are going to add their own camera housing for that camera some time in the future (or already did)
