At 1:49 min into the video, the "import to step", when the master schedule is to be selected, the Display Projects box does not show any projects to select even though I have the schedule open. Can you help.
Excellent! Thank you so much! Do you have a video that discusses external relationships between the activities in the Master schedule and how these relationships can be maintained each time you import and update of the sub-projects? I will be getting monthly project updates from contractors that need to be imported into the master Program schedule. I will need to establish logic relationships between activities in the Master Program schedule to/from the individual contractor schedules. Each month, the contractor will send an updated file so I suspect the original links I establish will be broken once a new XER file for a monthly update is imported. I could use a bit of guidance on how (or if) I can ensure the logic relationships remain connected to a specific Activity ID from one project to a sub-project during the updating process. Thoughts?
thanks for the nice video.. the same process can be done by selecting both projects and open.. then in the WBS window push the subproject under the master project?
Thank you for the video. I have question. What difference it will make if we choose the option of "ADD INTO EXISTING PROJECT" instead of UPDATE EXISTING. Thank you in Advance.
Good tutorial easy to follow

Great video! One question - how can I maintain the WBS of the sub project when choosing “Update Existing Project” in Import Options?
hi, can you tell me why when I open Import to it is empty and doesn't show the open project ?
Thank You, it so helpful. I have question tho, what if each projects have existing project baseline? What will happen to the baselines?
Thanks a lot for the feedback.

Thank you in Advance.
It will be treated as a sub project.
What if I want to know the critical path of a two different sub projects?
Then those should be treated as separate projects only.
Thank you very much
