I have about a dozen iron stains from fertilizer pellets getting into the pool. May take some time, but this looks like a good solution. I've seen some videos using muratic acid, but that damages the plaster.
Yes you can but you have to be a little careful with the darker shades of colored finish regardless if it's pebble tech or not. The reason I say this is because if you leave it on the rust stain too long then the rust will be removed but you can notice that the color will be lighter than the rest of the area around it. This was a cement pool. I have used this for cement and fiberglass pools with success 😁
