Imo, the anime is really currently failing at making the viewers feel the sense of urgency, desperation from this Invasion. It's like there's no weight behind certain scenes and actions.. Thanks again Retro for showing proper representation.
Sadly some people say it's trash because it failed to capture the emotion and gore. Let's be honest Kubo was planning to kill Byakuya in the manga but the fangirls forced to bring him back that's why it's less gory in the anime and Jugram's line about Byakuya in the anime has been removed. Retro did adapt this accurately from the manga. While in the anime took a different approach.

We need more insight from the surviving quincy like Uryu, more screentime to the Sternritters actually using their Quincy heritage and stats rather than relying on their schrifts, Nanao and Kido-oriented Shinigamis trying to make an anti-Quincy kido, Yhwach's use on Zanka no Tachi, more screentime to Unohana's true nature, and the Vizard's potential to be key players to counter the quincies
@@grim6129 Yeah I heard the Tybw arc is supposed to be twice as long as the hueco mundo arc (235 chapters) Like 470 chapters. But this is fine since bleach has 52 episodes and each episode covers 5-6 chapters which is 54 additional new content of chapters. Because in the manga there is only 206 chapters. Hopefully the hell arc will be a masterpiece since Tite Kubo is not being pressured by the deadline anymore and can write at his own pace.

Just watched the official episode. I enjoyed it but I could definitely feel the impact of this animation more. Specifically when Mask sent Renji flying
Especially considering the possibility that the anime COULD have Byakuya stay dead. It is incredibly unlikely since it would kind of mess up the manga’s continuity, but since Kubo might be trying to make the arc as close to his original vision as possible (unless he really had no intention of killing him off for good), then it is still a possibility. I personally don’t care either way since I’m still going to enjoy this arc, but it would probably appease many of the fans.

@@lumberluc I don't know if you've already been informed but it was stated that the anime is going to air on the post midnight timeslots in Japan, meaning that the censorship is going to be minimal if not completely absent.
Can't believe that I've been here in the bleach fandom long enough to see fan animations at this caliber and then finally next month will also be able to see it come to life in the anime .
This was beyond amazing. It's on par with animation studios even. My hype for episode 1 is higher than it's ever been. Can't wait to see what's next :D

This is amazing! Thank you for making this. Fun fact: Byakuya was suppose to die after fight so Rukia can revenge for him BUT the fans were outraged so Kubo decided to keep Byakuya alive. Lol
And after Rukia released her bankai, ghostkuya appear from her back, guiding her to control her bankai, and maybe say something smoochie like how shes just like her sister
Just came back from watching the most recent episode and honestly I still prefer this animated version of this fight over the official one. It just shows how great this animation was. Great job
@@nunorodrigues320 nope, the fan animation is more impactful and it is a fact. The official ones has the benefit of having more quality, but it does not evoke the same emotion of hopelessness.
The anime has an issue with delivering impact. This fan version depicts that much better. The sound makes the petals feel like razors, while the anime made them sound soft like feathers. The shots of Byakuya getting shredded were excellently executed, you get to see his body being torn apart, his body getting contorted, uncomfortably, moving so unnaturally, his hand outstretched in vain as he's being swallowed up by his own move. It's beautifully dramatic and excellently produced. Also the music is far better fitting, making the situation more intense and with far more despair. Renji's scream has more intensity than the anime despite being a kinda rough take, the cruelty of As Nodt just feels more menacing than the anime, it just has a better production and better filmmaking decisions overall than the official version, which was just too quiet, too stiff in spots, and just not given enough dramatic flair to its subject matter. Even the gore was toned down to make Byakuya's bullshit survival more believable. I don't care if this was fan made, this did the scene better than the official work and that's good on you as far as I'm concerned.
The anime has been impactful af, a level of seriousness and urgency we never saw before in Bleach. This fan made edit was really good, but still wouldn't put it in the same realm.

Going back here after seeing the official version. God this fan-animation is SO MUCH better in every way. The music, the violence, the sense of dread, the power in Mask's attack, and most of all, As voice. Now THAT is an amazing adaptation.

The fact that this hasn’t gotten as much recognition as it should honestly kinda pisses me off. This is a well animated scene and the voice actors were also very good.
@@carloskingdomh no they over dramatisiere the fight. The lack of music, the blood and the details on the death scene where you can see his RIBS and ORGANS falling off of his torso is much better in its own way.
I think the studio took inspiration from this video to make the sky cloudy during this invasion, as we can see in the latest trailer. In the manga it's bright blue, happy sunny day.
After watching both animations, I must say I prefer this one. While the studio is truly nailing the animation artwork, they are failing to put a sense of true despair and desperation that I feel with this one and as for me, it has something to do with the soundtrack that they used. While I do feel that the music represent a very dire situation, it just fails to bring out that sense of desperation that the music in this animation does. Also Byakuyas and Renjis body movements showed a more sense of urgency when they fought against As Nodt, for example when Renji screamed stop and how he was about to use bankai and was pushed by the bid dude with the star on his face (forgot his name). And when Byakuya feel to the ground and was coughing and and breathing harder because he had truly been injured and then when As Nodt use Senbonzakuras full force to mince meat Byakuya you could see that Byakuya took stand again and was showing that he was never going to give up but then got Senbonzakura again and this time pushed to the wall. Also it showed more blood. That is why I feel that this animation did a much better job at brining out this sense of urgency, despair and strong emotion that the anime is currently failing to do. I feel the current animation is to bland when it comes the character body movements and showing their sense of despair and that the music is to much violin and not enough battle themed.
I don't care what anyone says this scene was way better than the animation. As Nodt's voice and the music was much more fitting than the official animation it was such a let down that they didn't take elements from this video into consideration
Well I don't agree with the music and definitely not the voice part unless you're speaking of the Dub because the Subs voice is amazing and very fitting. Now animation wise I agree, they could've done better but Taguchi(Director)DID say they were having production issues this cour and to no one's surprise... Kubo, Taguchi and Hiramatsu(script writer)have all said cour 2's animation will be much better 👀. Still for Kenpachi Vs Unohana, Ichigo Vs Yuha and Yama Vs Yuha they snapped. Next season everything will be better though thanks to breaks🙏🏽.

I’ll be honest I read this chapter before watching this and I never imagined this scene so terrifying/intense/dramatic. You have very good imagery and an even better ability to bring it to life on screen. I can only hope the animators could interpret these scenes this dramatic and have as good music effects and tone 10/10

I decided to look at the real episode in dub just to see how As Nodts voice would sound, and Jesus Christ the voice actor for the fan animation was so much better than the actual dub
One of the best fan animations and its even almost 5 years old , it even competes with real anime studios and it's quality is almost as good as tybw right now damn!
Holy crap! This is FUCKIN AWESOME!!! And the voice work is beautiful. His dark, gravelly voice is haunting. Just added one more subscriber for this video alone.
It also makes sense for him, it's realistic. I heard someone complain that As Nodt 'sounds like a smoker', but in terms of his physical condition, he is basically suffering the equivalent of that. His lungs were so weak that breathing on life support was agony for him, and he is incredibly tall and emaciated, both also detrimental to be. As is probably only still alive beause of his Quincy powers. Him sounding gravely and 'weak' is realistic. And of course, it has the added bonus of sounding bad*ss.
I cannot express how much this animation is good! This feels just like a real anime. I imagine how hard it is to create a few minutes of animation like this, so I thank you Ryno and everyone else that made this animation with all my heart. You guys are making us Bleach fans never forget why we love this series! Thank you for helping us keep the Bleach flame alive!
yea.. like seven deadly sins had a great animation in season 1&2 and after all the wait and hype season 3 announced and it was a big mess because of the studio change. Hope that Bleach won't be the same case :)
RAZE I doubt that’ll happen to bleach considering it’s apart of the big three and is making a grand return, also aniplex bought the rights to bleach so they should get good treatment.
Ticklenut one piece is part of the big three and its anime was treated horrendously. Also, aniplex could outsource the entirety of bleach. Meaning, that even if they own the rights, a studio like toei, deen, or pierrot could still work on it. It’s also important to note that the producers know bleach has an extremely loyal fanbase, so they might make something subpar, knowing we’ll still watch it.
Dang this was really well made. I can tell that you put emotion into this...and it shows. Always makes me sad to remember what happened to the anime...but i would watch your animation for season after season, not even joking. Good work
To people who are complaining that the anime version hits way less emotionally than this one (and spoiler warning to those who haven't read the manga) I assume this was done very much intentionally on the anime part (way less emotion, placed in the middle of the episode rather than the end for less impact) because Byakuya ends up coming back and they are intending to keep it that way (judging by Byakuya's appearance in the first trailer). And I don't exactly remember where have I heard of this, but when this TYBW fan adaptation was still in the works I remember they were intending to kill off Byakuya for good, which is why this feels way heavier than the anime one, which intends to bring the character back
They were but Kubo got so much backlash from people he even death threats sent to him. It was so bad that Kubo decided to bring back Byakuya and he still got the same treatment there for bringing back after confirming he was dead. So the Studio and Kubo decided not to make all "oh he should definitely be dead" because they are going to bring him back. That's Why the Fan Animation "hits" different.
Im so happy you guys like this. We worked hard to make this sound like the bleach I remember, and im almost crying for all the love and support this video is gaining. FINALLY this scenes getting animated in the next episode just a few days remaining! I honestly hope they do the battle justice and show how terribly hopeless and dark it truly is with correct ost usage as you did. As nodt voice actor better do justice as well
I ain't gonna lie like I love both the fan animation and the anime itself for putting their effort for bleach especially for this scene! But I feel like this fan animation made this scene more impactful and emotional, the music especially made it like the situation was a way to show despair!! I'm happy that we get to witness both of the scenes and I'm glad bleach is making it's comeback!!! So much love for the animators for the anime and fan animations!!

When a fan animation is better than the actual studio that decides to never gives their fans the best arc of the anime. Bravo to you for doing us a justice.
I know I’m incredibly late, but then waiting so long to animate it was probably for the best. Not only was it good to wait for the arc was over so that they wouldn’t have to add unnecessary filler, but they needed plenty of time to prepare for the production, such as gathering the right resources and talent for the job (including Kubo himself) and revising certain parts of the story if necessary in order to make this as good as possible (new scenes have already been confirmed).
This is absolutely amazing! I'm speechless. Between the animation, the color palette, the effects and voice acting this is an absolute masterpiece. ;-; I'm almost I'm tears. This is absolutely incredible! Bravo! A job well done to you and everyone else in the team.

I have other characters that are my favorite but they don't come close to Byakuya's coolness. Thanks for posting this!

Going back here after seeing the official version. God this fan-animation is SO MUCH better in every way. The music, the violence, the sense of dread, the power in Mask's attack, and most of all, As voice. Now THAT is an amazing adaptation.

After watching both animations, I must say I prefer this one. While the studio is truly nailing the animation artwork, they are failing to put a sense of true despair and desperation that I feel with this one and as for me, it has something to do with the soundtrack that they used. While I do feel that the music represent a very dire situation, it just fails to bring out that sense of desperation that the music in this animation does.
Also Byakuyas and Renjis body movements showed a more sense of urgency when they fought against As Nodt, for example when Renji screamed stop and how he was about to use bankai and was pushed by the bid dude with the star on his face (forgot his name).
And when Byakuya feel to the ground and was coughing and and breathing harder because he had truly been injured and then when As Nodt use Senbonzakuras full force to mince meat Byakuya you could see that Byakuya took stand again and was showing that he was never going to give up but then got Senbonzakura again and this time pushed to the wall. Also it showed more blood. That is why I feel that this animation did a much better job at brining out this sense of urgency, despair and strong emotion that the anime is currently failing to do. I feel the current animation is to bland when it comes the character body movements and showing their sense of despair and that the music is to much violin and not enough battle themed.
I agree wholeheartedly. The animation as whole in the official anime adaptation is pretty meh to me. A LOT of still images… not much fluid animation

I don't care what anyone says this scene was way better than the animation. As Nodt's voice and the music was much more fitting than the official animation it was such a let down that they didn't take elements from this video into consideration
Well I don't agree with the music and definitely not the voice part unless you're speaking of the Dub because the Subs voice is amazing and very fitting.
Now animation wise I agree, they could've done better but Taguchi(Director)DID say they were having production issues this cour and to no one's surprise... Kubo, Taguchi and Hiramatsu(script writer)have all said cour 2's animation will be much better 👀.
Still for Kenpachi Vs Unohana, Ichigo Vs Yuha and Yama Vs Yuha they snapped. Next season everything will be better though thanks to breaks🙏🏽.

I’ll be honest I read this chapter before watching this and I never imagined this scene so terrifying/intense/dramatic. You have very good imagery and an even better ability to bring it to life on screen. I can only hope the animators could interpret these scenes this dramatic and have as good music effects and tone 10/10

I decided to look at the real episode in dub just to see how As Nodts voice would sound, and Jesus Christ the voice actor for the fan animation was so much better than the actual dub
One of the best fan animations and its even almost 5 years old , it even competes with real anime studios and it's quality is almost as good as tybw right now damn!

I heard someone complain that As Nodt 'sounds like a smoker', but in terms of his physical condition, he is basically suffering the equivalent of that. His lungs were so weak that breathing on life support was agony for him, and he is incredibly tall and emaciated, both also detrimental to be. As is probably only still alive beause of his Quincy powers. Him sounding gravely and 'weak' is realistic. And of course, it has the added bonus of sounding bad*ss.

RAZE I doubt that’ll happen to bleach considering it’s apart of the big three and is making a grand return, also aniplex bought the rights to bleach so they should get good treatment.
Ticklenut one piece is part of the big three and its anime was treated horrendously. Also, aniplex could outsource the entirety of bleach. Meaning, that even if they own the rights, a studio like toei, deen, or pierrot could still work on it. It’s also important to note that the producers know bleach has an extremely loyal fanbase, so they might make something subpar, knowing we’ll still watch it.

To people who are complaining that the anime version hits way less emotionally than this one (and spoiler warning to those who haven't read the manga)
I assume this was done very much intentionally on the anime part (way less emotion, placed in the middle of the episode rather than the end for less impact) because Byakuya ends up coming back and they are intending to keep it that way (judging by Byakuya's appearance in the first trailer). And I don't exactly remember where have I heard of this, but when this TYBW fan adaptation was still in the works I remember they were intending to kill off Byakuya for good, which is why this feels way heavier than the anime one, which intends to bring the character back
They were but Kubo got so much backlash from people he even death threats sent to him.
It was so bad that Kubo decided to bring back Byakuya and he still got the same treatment there for bringing back after confirming he was dead.
So the Studio and Kubo decided not to make all "oh he should definitely be dead" because they are going to bring him back.
That's Why the Fan Animation "hits" different.
Honestly annoyed that he got the backlash.
It hurt to know he was gonna be gone, but theme wise it shone.

I ain't gonna lie like I love both the fan animation and the anime itself for putting their effort for bleach especially for this scene! But I feel like this fan animation made this scene more impactful and emotional, the music especially made it like the situation was a way to show despair!! I'm happy that we get to witness both of the scenes and I'm glad bleach is making it's comeback!!! So much love for the animators for the anime and fan animations!!

I know I’m incredibly late, but then waiting so long to animate it was probably for the best. Not only was it good to wait for the arc was over so that they wouldn’t have to add unnecessary filler, but they needed plenty of time to prepare for the production, such as gathering the right resources and talent for the job (including Kubo himself) and revising certain parts of the story if necessary in order to make this as good as possible (new scenes have already been confirmed).
