    Let me add this about the Bronco Sport - because I forgot to include it in the video. The Sport has amazing visibility all around the cabin. The blind spots are at a minimum. Its easy to glance behind you and look out the opposite side quarter glass and see what's there unlike the FJ Cruiser where it had a HUGE blind spot. Not knocking the FJ - I absolutely love the vehicle and would buy it too LOL. But even with the newness wearing off, I am so glad I bought the vehicle. It's very fun to drive. Sport mode feels like a rocket just kicked on - the acceleration for me was amazing. Eco - is designed to cut back and run efficiently & and I drive that mode the most or normal (if I forget to switch to ECO). We have had it in the Mud & Ruts mode when we did this video for there were some rather deep gullies we went through and the sport handled like a dream. No problems there one bit. And - AAANNNDDDD - Shawn got to drive it through the gullies in Mud & Ruts mode so don't let him tell you anything different! I supervised the WHOLE THING! LOL!!

    LOL I'm gonna keep adding to the things I forgot to mention in the video, but another thing you all may want to know is that the Badlands on both Sport and Bronco come 1" higher ground clearance than the other packages (FE excluded). Keep that in mind when you are shopping for one.

    Coming home at a traffic light had someone slam on the brakes and turn the warning scares the piss out of you till you get used to having it. Still loving it!!!💖

    Oh and its break assists works great too. We were up near Arkdale Wisconsin at about midnight. Real dark in the northwoods. We noticed deer alongside the road but not the deer in the middle of the road and the bronco started stopping before we used the breaks. It kept us from hitting that deer.

    It is an easy vehicle to drive. I am getting used to the lane keeping system since I have never driven a vehicle with that. I am going to the Austin Off-Roadeo instead center June. Looking forward to actually trying all the modes in real off road conditions. Appreciate the videos and insights learned!!

    You guys are awesome. I have many relatives in Homestead, although I live in Toronto. So I do understand the drivers in Miami area. Nice to know about the avoidance system. Wow no sport mode in Bad lands? Good info. Off question tho How do you like the 4 runner? What year? . Thanks guys.

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  3 роки тому +1

      LOL Florida drivers... they keep us on our toes. Correct no Sport mode in the full size Bronco. It has Baja mode instead. The 4Runner is a 2014 Limited. It is the all wheel drive version no the 4 wheel drive people associate with the versions like the trd pro. That's why I always make fun of it for being mini van version of the 4Runner. It still have 4wheel drive system and capabilities just not the lifted type. Love it... not a single complaint. 160k + miles and just keeps going. I will probably get another one when something happens to this one.

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  2 роки тому +2

      Compared to our 2012 F350 is awesome. Compared to a Prius... Not so great. If you are looking solely for fuel economy there are better options. Although nowadays with fuel going up to $8+a gallon.... I would get a Tesla.

    • @breckenridgelong7692
      @breckenridgelong7692 2 роки тому

      We ended up going with the Outer banks edition instead of the Badlands for this reason. It's going to be a commuter in snowy weather more than an off roader. Saw some talk on the internet about the mpg's being better than advertised depending on how you drive and for us it's turned out to be true. Right now it's averaging about 32 mpg and that's in normal mode.

    I live down in the Keys and am thinking about purchasing the Sport. Does it come with or is it possible to coat it with an anti corrosion like they do with airplanes in Florida? Also, is there paint protection from the sun? Asking because we don’t have garages down here.

    • @1Five1Garage
      @1Five1Garage  3 роки тому +1

      We didn't get any paint protection film on it because we will be wrapping it soon and then ceramic coating it. As far as undercoating our dealer doesn't offer it. some might or you can find an after market place to do it. We plan on doing it ourselves after we get the Bronco and just do both.

      No, no it isn't. Just the platform is from the escape. like the floor for the unibody. all body panels, suspension, engine and interior are different.

    • @CC-gt3ro
      @CC-gt3ro 3 роки тому +2

      It is not an escape at all. Nearly everything is different. Suspension, 4x4, wheel base, roof support for heigh weight, tyres, interior seat, cargo size, engine is also set differently, metal bash plate, full size spare tyres. It is not at all an escape.
