Regarding Fan Bingbing, her fluency is actually still a really high level compared to most non-native English speakers. If you get to that point, you are totally capable of communicating and surviving, and then it's just a matter of finding more opportunities to practice.
At the end of the day, it’s all about confidence and how you carry yourself. I know a lot of non-native English speakers have inferiority complex when interacting with native English speakers. Very often it’s not just language skill itself but how you could present yourself in a calm and confident way
As Chinese, we all have some kind of Chinese accent. It’s our second language, don’t judge people by their accent. We don’t try to judge other foreigners have accent while speaking our language😐
Most native English speakers enjoy accents some as it is interesting to learn the person's background. Great pronunciation does not mean no accent, notice that Mike didn't mention accent. The three he talked about are much more important.

i was hoping to see jackson wang (王嘉尔) included in there. He may come from Hong Kong but his english is really well spoken and is also god damn attractive when he speaks it. Jackson yee english has improved by alot since that clip you saw, he now can speak fluent english and even has sang few english songs.

I meant , yes Kris had to learn a new language at 10...but Jackson was in english spoken environment since 4 or younger maybe. Now English is not that important like used to be. Those celebrities can make 10s of millions of dollars a year even they don’t speak a word of English. Before people think speak English u got more opportunity with the western world. Now Mandarin is very important if you live in Asia. It is good to know English because it still most used language in the world, but Mandarin is catching up. I predict around 2030 Mandarin will be as important as English.

I suppose Kris Wu should really be discounted from your list since he was brought up in canada from the age of 10, a bit critical to compare him with stars who never integrated in an all English environment. But for me Tang Wei possessed the best English; the longer portion of her interview you can see her wide usage of vocabulary and the way she spoke it isn't scripted. Tang wei all the way❤

Love this video! In my past experience, to have confidence, you must practice as much as you can to be good at it first to feel good and comfortable. And then you have that confidence because you know you're good, because you know you can handle it! Then confidence propels you to want to learn more in order to keep feeling good.

我英语程度在国内只有大学四级英语，当年六级差点也过不了。我是属于小学三年级开始学，没有参加任何培训班，学到高考之后上大学就不太想学英语了。以前的应试成绩150满分的话，大概就110-120左右。不算很好但也不差。因为我以前在广州，没有说英文的语境。大概学英文也不过是当年会英文是不错的流行趋势。在美国生活了一年半，我的词汇量真的很一般，但是口语进步会很快。一开始根本说不出几句，因为怕自己说错和对自己口音不自信。还有一点是我以前说英文的方法是用中文的语法和逻辑去想，然后翻译成英文再说出来。这样效果十分差！因为我先生只会英文，所以这也是我进步很快的原因。在跟我先生沟通的时候我会一边听一边学他说话的习惯阿语法阿。而且他也给了我很大的鼓励，他告诉我口音并不是太重要，特别我们在纽约，这里有很多来自不同国家的人，每个人都有不同的口音，但别人不会耻笑你。只要你自信地把你要表达的话说出来，别人听得懂就足够了。别人听得懂才是语言最重要的作用！当然咯，我的英文放在纽约还不错，工作也不会耽误。可是放在中国特别是外企的话，可能要求就会更加高。但是学英文最重要还是要多运用，我以前一看到文章就放弃不看，现在培养了阅读的习惯就会自然而然地一边看一边记住，不认识的就查手机字典。一旦你进入这样的模式，英文真的不难！不好意思一下子说了这么多……╮( •́ω•̀ )╭

我发现身边的中国人都太计较英语的口语和语法了。实际上有一定的英语交流能力，大家能够听懂，这就足够了，又不是人人都是native speaker。不是在全英语环境下长大的人基本上很难达到native speaker的水平和反应速度。
非英語系國家的人英語本來就不是第一語言 也會因為自己本身的母語而帶有口音 本來就不可能完全和英語系國家的人的口音比較。
