    I like that the Waiter explains the dishes but without having to basicly plate the dish for you and speak about how you should eat it for 5 minutes each time

      You may like that, but an incredible number of guests also want to be entertained. They want to know everything that is on the plate simply because they pay so much money. If you pay 500 euros per person in a restaurant in the Netherlands and you only say "salmon with sauce" you will get loads of bad reviews. Purely because they think they pay too much for just the food.

    At this restaurant all poultry Luke duck 🦆 chicken 🐓 is defined in s cooked too beautifully and 🦀 soup and smoked salmon is so delicious I was here a few years ago and really enjoyed the food the service is excellent the restaurant is beautiful thank you so much for sharing the beautiful video @ Gourmet B Gourmet 👍👍😀😀🌹🌹❤️❤️🦀🦆🐓👍👍❤️❤️

    €262 is a relative bargain for a Michelin 3 star in Paris. Hopefully all these small dishes added up to a substantial meal!

      @@GourmetBGourmet I was watching the Sketch meal you did yesterday as a case in point , shoddy service , the waitress plonked the soup into your bowl , it plopped onto the side of the bowl , deep fried sage leaf 🍃 yuk , poor presentation and then you have this meal , class class class !

    Matching star for star, this restaurant blows the doors off of L'Ambroisee with imagination, style, and execution. The dishes looked exquisite.

    Looks wonderful. Especially the Hare. That had me drooling, wishing it was game season and I was in Paris. But I do feel like the dishes seem a too minimal for my personal taste. I prefer a little bit more complexity in terms of flavours and textures. Especially in a 3 star.

    I really do appreciate all your vids! This looked amazing, the decor at this place is also beautiful based on the photos I've seen...great for a special occasion, something romantic 😉👌
    I've even made a list of my own of Michelin restaurants I would love to go to (about 8 of them so far), based on your videos, the menus I've read and La Liste (which is an aggregate scoring site for Michelin restaurants).

    J'ai travailler comme serveur au "Pré-Catelans" en 92 par là...
    La pression étais trop forte,
    J'y es servis des gens comme jean pierre Marielle, Belmondo, Georges Lucas, toute sorte de politicien des cool et des pas cool !
    Nous mangions les restes des banquers...
    Aujourdhui j'aimerais savoir si cela a changé ?

    I mean, this cooking does look lovely, with the hare in particular looking to be an outstanding course. Also, depending on how well it was cooked, a cheese soufflé seems like a lovely idea. That said, there was more complexity to Frederic Anton’s cooking in prior years. Smoked salmon with a sabayon looks most underwhelming. And where was his famous dessert, La Pomme? I’m afraid this lack of sophistication makes things a bit dangerous as far as retaining his third star is concerned.

      You know Frederic Anton very well, I like scallop raw and langoustine course, I know is similar of Robuchon restaurant but Frederic present also excellent pretty and taste delicious.

      @@ivanboskovic1260 I don’t even know why I am replying to your unnecessary and ignorant comment, but just to be clear, while somebody had to kill that poor hare, I am assuming all of the other animals that donated ingredients for this meal are still alive and healthy, yes? For example, in your mind, the salmon that donated its meat to be smoked is obviously still alive and swimming to this day? Please, comments like these have no place here. You are more than free to follow the Jewish laws surrounding food, but it’s not your place to criticize others for doing things differently.

    The most inviting thing on the menu was the bread with butter. The rest reminded me of hospital food for toothless people. Teaspoon only, what a joke.

    I have heard that Le Pre Catelan is the weakest of the Michelin 3 star restaurants in Paris. What do you think about this view? How does it compare to Guy Savoy or to the Paris 2 star restaurants?

      Can’t compare with Guy Savoy and Alain Ducasse, they’ve hold long time Michelin stars, Frédéric Anton also is top 10 of the chef, Le pre Catelan food presentation excellent, beautiful place and delicious, I agreed Guy Savoy and Alain ducasses is famous in the world, Le Pre Catelan just got a 3 stars in 2017, need time for running famous in the world

      What's the ranking of Paris' 3 star restaurants? I'm visiting in May, I'm currently considering Kei, Alleno, Guy Savoy and Arpege. I ruled out Le Pre and this video confirmed my suspicion. It does look good, but nothing looked terribly exciting except maybe the langoustine. The chocolate pie and ice cream looked good, but I would expect more out of a 3 star Michelin restaurant

      @@jlaz11 Yes, I agree. The dishes look plain and unexciting. Le Pre Catelan has been ranked lower than other Paris 3 stars by Andy Hayler and other food critics. We are going to Paris in April and we currently have reservations for Guy Savoy, Kei, Epicure, and Pierre Gagnaire.

      @@ShawnHoMDJD We went to Epicure a few years ago. It was fine, not a memorable meal unfortunately. Beautiful dining room and friendly service. We went to Guy Savoy (Las Vegas) in the same year and we actually do remember some of the dishes from that experience and really enjoyed it. They actually forgot to charge us for the white truffle supplemental! Kind of sad because that restaurant is in such a bad location and there's hardly any patrons there, kind of you have to know it exists to go there

      Thanks for the comment, but I haven’t said I am foodie, Depend of that day situation, sometimes I drink champagne, wine or juice, normally I am not drinking lunch time, coming videos is evening have a champagne and wine pairs. If I got drunk in noon, I can’t make a videos and focus of foods.

      Fine dining never push you order drink, with or without drink also good service, but for our table manners we order at least one drink and bottle of water, bottle of water not cheap €10 to €15

    As much as a Michelin star restaurant is on my bucket list....caviar is nasty. I am not eating Fois gras or any other liver and scallops are my 2nd favorite seafood...but not eating them raw.

      @@GourmetBGourmet I highly recommend “Osteria Francescana” in Modena by Chef Massimo Bottura and also “Villa Crespi” in Orta by Antonino Canavacciuolo. You may need to book in advance.

    As a frenchman we have a rule when it comes to fine dining.. especially 3 Michelin stars: Never go to Paris.
