It occured to me not long ago, if you count the keyboard solos, he was teasing... Keyboard solo opener, 4 part keys guitar dualling solo in the middle.
I was there! Such a good show! 🤩 Arch Enemy and Amorphis was the support ! This show had one of Nightwish's best ever performances in to date. The Poet and the Pendulum. One to do later down the line (with the captions turned on! And backstory read up on 😉)
Next Marko's song from same concert, While your lips are still red? 😉 And yes Marko is performing in December here in Finland. He is part of group of Finnish metal singers and they sing christmas songs. It's called Raskasta Joulua tour. He have been in there many years now. You might could react some of their stuff when Christmas comes...? Also Floor has been there.

Just yesterday I stumbled to an unofficial video of Nightwish playing in Toulouse France, only a few weeks before this Wembley concert I believe, and there was a funny incident. The zipper of Floor's right foot boot broke and the part that reaches above her knee fell completely to the floor. She tried to fix it in the middle of the song whenever she was not singing. No success. Then she took of the other boot too. Then Floor and Marko were joking about it. Floor said she was lucky it was the boot and not something else that broke and fell down. Marko: "What do you mean?" Floor: "That it was not some other bodypart that was revealed." Then Marko said something I can not hear, but Floor replied something like "Thank you Marko for your elaborate comment!" My guess is that Marko mentioned some other bodyparts that could have been exposed. Then Marko said something about him saying things he should not, (he is known for his bad jokes). He ended by saying: "She's going to whip my ass later!" And the audience had fun.

I also read somewhere that Marko will be performing at the Raskasta Joulua (Heavy Christmas) concert in December. As much as I like his successor Jukka Hoskinen, such a sweet guy and also from Wintersun, like Kai the drummer, as a session bassist for the upcoming tour, I hope Marko is coming back. As for the drumming..check out Kai with his former band Wintersun..."Sons of Winter and Stars". I think that is a Mt. St. Helen's banger or another one you can come up with🤣. Btw...I have a question for my NWA brothers ans sisters in Arms. A few days ago I watched again that gloomy and dark documentary of theirs "End of Innocence". At 2.01.02 they play a piece of music which sounds very much as the "skeleton dance" from Tribal. I haven''t listened to the early albums of NW as I do not like Tarja's voice very much, sorry Tarja fans, but as Tribal didn't excists at that time... can somebody tell me from what song that music is, please? Thanks a lot. Note for you Alex and George...Tribal is from their lastest album Human Nature and if you have time...check out that documentary. Kai is a metronome on drums and just keeps going when most would falter, Floor was stunning, Tuomas was just on point, Emppu was stunning, Troy was brilliant even when he made the odd mistake, did not let it phase him. It's was a great opener - and the second one - that ROAR Floor ends with!!! Tuomas and Marko were really playing with Floor's abilities in Wembley - she showed much more of her incredible voice and versatility, than she had done in previous Nightwish concerts.

So, I've basically spent three days watching Thamesmen video reactions that, for Nightwish songs, date back about four months. I've been stingy on comments for them, because I've had mixed reactions to the songs -- I think some are terrific, but some I would simply shrug my shoulders. Terrific musicians, the playing is great in every video. I liked this song a lot -- definitely a banger!

What I heard is that Marko will be on the Raskasta Joulua tour. Four shows with an all star cast of Finland's metal scene performing Christmas songs. You must do a reaction to Marko and Floor singing Ave Maria from the 2019 tour.
NW army is awesome, and did anyone suggested Wintersun to you. If not check it out. Its the band that Kai the drummer came from to replace Jukka. And now the bass player to replace Marko as well. A note on the drummer, as you've most likely read by now, Kai from Wintersun. What you may not know, though is that Kai used to instruct Jukka on some aspects. That's how you end up with a new drummer that doesn't break up how the band sounds. Nightwish were incredibly lucky to get Kai when Jukka couldn't continue his drumming career.

Firstly, thanks for warming me up with a reaction to such a great number - knew you'd both be blown away by it - I just returned from a great night out with Wifey in the pouring rain after watching the latest Bond film (highly recommended btw) so was soaked to the skin - a French storm so I read! Just wanted to say that Amorphis is supporting them again on the UK tour again - so they know what they're letting themselves in for. In LA I think the support band is Beast in Black who's lead singer is Yannis Papadopoulos who has a truly impressive voice - he has done his own take of 'Ghost Love Score' which is well worth a look on UA-cam - would be great to see you both react to it one day - it is Nightwish related after all. Beast in Black have a very unique retro sound - a sort of 80's Metal/Synths/Anthemic band - but brilliant musicians all the same. I'm making you a Honorary Thamesman promise that you won't regret doing GLS by Yannis Papadopoulos! Great reaction as always chaps. Like Song of myself (Wacken), Last ride on the day (Wacken), Yours is an empty hope (Wembley), Weak fantasy (Tampere), not to mention new songs from the latest album! Pan and Tribal being my favorite from there. I've already been lucky to see them live twice last summer, with their new songs (and without Marko 😢), and going to see them again in December. A note on the drummer, as you've most likely read by now, Kai from Wintersun. What you may not know, though is that Kai used to instruct Jukka on some aspects. That's how you end up with a new drummer that doesn't break up how the band sounds. Nightwish were incredibly lucky to get Kai when Jukka couldn't continue his drumming career.

Firstly, thanks for warming me up with a reaction to such a great number - knew you'd both be blown away by it - I just returned from a great night out with Wifey in the pouring rain after watching the latest Bond film (highly recommended btw) so was soaked to the skin - a French storm so I read! Just wanted to say that Amorphis is supporting them again on the UK tour again - so they know what they're letting themselves in for. In LA I think the support band is Beast in Black who's lead singer is Yannis Papadopoulos who has a truly impressive voice - he has done his own take of 'Ghost Love Score' which is well worth a look on UA-cam - would be great to see you both react to it one day - it is Nightwish related after all. Beast in Black have a very unique retro sound - a sort of 80's Metal/Synths/Anthemic band - but brilliant musicians all the same. I'm making you a Honorary Thamesman promise that you won't regret doing GLS by Yannis Papadopoulos! Great reaction as always chaps. If you're still reading (well done 😆) but on a serious note, you chaps brighten my day!

I would suggest you listen to the song: Song of Myself, Wacken 2013, if you want to hear a heavy and surprising song. Keep up the good work. Hi from Finland! I watched all your reactions to Nightwish today (+ that 1 Sabaton), and now I subbed. I like you guys 🙂 There's still so many great songs to discover and react. Like Song of myself (Wacken), Last ride on the day (Wacken), Yours is an empty hope (Wembley), Weak fantasy (Tampere), not to mention new songs from the latest album! Pan and Tribal being my favorite from there. I've already been lucky to see them live twice last summer, with their new songs (and without Marko 😢), and going to see them again in December.

Yes! Yes, the Amorphis band also works well as a warmer for Nightwish. Many of Amorphis' songs are based on the Finnish national poem epic Kalevala, published in 1835 and 1849. The poems were collected by a doctor while touring the villages of Karelia, where people sang them, also as singing battles of that time.
