My dad is gone too and I realized real quick after his passing to not allow people who claim to love me treat me bad. @@thelastcommenter7154 No, it's wise advice, when it comes to the children. Whenever Mom/Dad/Stepmom or Stepdad aren't happy or they are upset a, many times children can sense it and are affected. Parents should do as they need to in order to remain as happy as possible, so that they may be the best for their children at all times. There's no reason for bitterness, if we(as parents) do all we are able to have healthy relationships, rather the parents are together or not. By the way, all 3 of my daughters are well over 30 years old, and they were always happy, because their father & I remained cordial for the sake of our children's happiness. That caused less stress and headaches, too. It was hard at times, though. Lol! Many blessings to you & yours, always. ❤️😊

@@thelastcommenter7154 I really don't think that's healthy bc my parents did that and they fought everyday. My mom took care of me better than my dad ever did. He was always not sober, his habits and friends came before us, and they really weren't in love anymore but they stayed together and it was always an uncomfortable tense environment at home. So it's really not smart to stay ONLY for the kids it's toxic. I actually wish they just broke up sooner they waited until I was grown.
