    50ing the bar is way gnarlier than feebling it

      For sure. Wouldn’t say front feebles though

    The key to back feebles is keeping your front wheels close to the rail once you've locked in. Once wheels get too far away is when you'll get pitched forward because of the friction. I almost think of it as a cross lock pinch. Like I'm making the board hug the rail.

    A easy way to do a confortable bs feeble is going like if u will do a bs 50-50. When your back truck are over the rail u will pintch on it, and put your weight in your back foot. Your right shoulder would be paralel with the rail. And that's it.

    You got dude, I found the ollie into a feeble isnt really much of an ollie, its like a shallow ollie

    • @localjoe
      @localjoe  2 роки тому +1

      yeah it's similar to the ollie into a manual it seems

    okay I think thats your issue Joe.....when learning a new trick you're to worried about the worst case scenario opposed to what you should do to land it.

    im 34 years old and I just learned how to feeble and back 5050 rails this year and its so fun doing something I couldve been doing for 20 years that was just trapped behind fear. I learned feebles first, they are way less scary you can just stand on it and never flip toes or heels like if you fuck up a 5050

    • @ogmike6444
      @ogmike6444 2 роки тому

      also i learned feebles by going super slow and just stalling the rail to a stop. I wasnt concerned with just landing one but learning how to stand in and hold it. now that shit is dialed

      What was your approach to learn it. All I can do is FS50-50 and BS Board slide. The fear is real with BS 5050s.

      @@Starclap92 stalls is how i learned feebles just kept stalling a really low rail til i learned the pinch and sitting in the backseat of it, but the first way i learned back 5050 was skating a pipe on flat ground.

    bs feeble is the opposite of safety trick for me. There is a great braille video where one of the guys learns this and it shed some light on the way to pop into it for me great video as always!

    Congrats that was a good one. I used to be the same way. Once you unlock backside feeble it will be your favorite rail trick. That and front smith are my go to grinds on flat and down rails.

    hey idk you put this video out but i have a little tip for bs febels. basically how i get into bs fedels is go for a bs 5050 but im on an angle a little and i over shoot my front truck. I land in a bs febel everytime. same thing for a fs just go more on an angle like you would for crook grinds but try and land with you back truck over shooting your front truck.

    Hey Joe, can you do a video on your skateboard setup and what you do with every session or while trying to learn a new trick? I've watched your videos for a while and I see that you've been progressing massively and it would mean a lot if you could share some tips, because I'm still struggling with how loose my trucks should be and basic tricks such as fs shuv and varial flips

  • @JimmyTranSkateboarding

    nice! my secret to this trick is to rest the part of my foot below my heel bone on the board so when i ollie into the feeble, my backfoot is already pinched in the perfect spot. kind of like how jamie foy does fs crooked grinds where his front foot is hanging off the board . hope that helps!

    Someome told me one time to think boardslide when I'm popping into it then jam my back truck in and stand on it and it worked like a charm 👍🏼 so essentially approah like a back 50, but think boardslide if that makes sense

    I really love to land this trick but getting into it is the hardest part of it i cant figure out if i do a lot of angle or should i go little parallel to the rail

    Same struggle here! I Have another issue, I never understood the aproach for this, if you aproach it like a Back 50 or like a boardslide with closed shoulders…when I go the Back 50 aproach I stick; when I go boardslide closed shoulders, I miss the lock 😅 any ideia what is the best method?

  • @diegoBRX

    Grinds scare me more than ollieing off somthing taller than me. It's hard to get over that fear of falling back. Even though it's never happend to me I am still always scared of it.

    I want that rail. I wonder if affirm pay is sketchy. You know the payment option where you can pay it in like 4 separate parts? Has anyone used that option? I'm curious if it's scammy or not.

    Bro it’s sad 5050 on round rail is legit my favorite trick
    My favorite to watch, My favorite feeling
    (when I actually do it), it just seems like a solid trick
    You ALWAYS respect a proper cross locked front 5050 on a round bar
    I consistently get into a backwards cross lock when I try front 5050
    I’ve messed around with them in the past but the past 3 days I’ve put in a whole work day trying solely front 5050 on round bar
    That cross lock is a mf it doesn’t make sense to me
    Kids at the park do it with ease lol

    yo i promise you you will not slip back out of feebles the only way you can slip out it forward but that only happens if its sticky so just make sure you got wax and you will be fine

    That’s crazy. You do BS 50-50’s on the rail all the time. I’ve never done one because they scare me on rails. I’ve done BS Feebles though.
