I honestly do not know if there has ever been a more incredible team of car focused content creators in any form of media since the dawn of time. Hats off to the entire Carfection team!! Please don’t ever stop striving for absolute excellence!
This car seems absolutely brilliant to drive. Anyone writing it off because of its looks is doing themselves a disservice. What a marvel of engineering.
Track cars speeds without needing to be a racing driver and have massive reflexs and skill. Most track focused cars make too much noise to drive on the road and put fear of God in you they will spin off when try to drive fast. This is accessible speed, nothing but boring, as some read it. Video could have been better i that respect, it mislead a few people.
A car that makes you able to achieve things you never thought you could, i quite like how it's been so perfected that if you give it your full undivided attention it will make the most challenging of tracks, sharpest of corners and scary of speeds feel achievable.... a race car hiding within a road car
Henry Catchpole; thank you for your distillation of a wonder of a car in words, audio and video in a timeframe that keeps us waiting for more. I find myself skipping through many others' videos whilst here I am witnessing everything that is important regarding a vehicle of this caliber and wishing for more. Maybe its the honesty and deep understanding of what makes a car like this stand out but all I have to say is "thank you." I will follow your content wherever it goes.
Yavor Ivanov ooh too many, if you want more of the technical stuff on cars, you could try Engineering Explained. For more on the cinematic scenery of the car and review, you could try savagegeese just to mention a few.
Well i want the grand tour because you watch it for fun.. the comedy along with the cars is the reason people watch that show because if it's all about technical stuff then what's the point.. it'll be boring and almost all the people who watch it would never own cars like these.. so a comedic car show isn't "needed" but people want it
I went on to UA-cam saw the Carfection review of this car and decide to watch before Mr JWW review! Again the cinematography is utterly stunning ! Well done Boy's!!
This channel has to be the most passionate towards car content. Professionals who love what they do. And we get to see it. What a time to be alive🙌🏽❤ Bloody good job again🤗
This is Godly! You killed it. This has to be the best production you made so far! Obviously your inspiration was set at such a high bar to represent Senna. This is a masterpiece.
Top notch cinematography and narration as usual! Looks like the Senna lives up to its name. If only the new NSX carried that ethos as well, considering Ayrton's role influencing the original.
Best car reviewer on here! The amount of effort you put in your posts is awesome. I've started reviewing cars myself and hope to become as great as you one day!
Extraordinary quality, as we've come to expect from Carfection. I wonder though, will we ever get the review video of the Chiron or have I missed something ?
Henry Catchpole Great, can't wait! I just wanted to take a minute to salute and thank you for your work as a car journalist. You more than any other before of after you, you managed to instill the passion of motoring in my veins. From your early EVO days, when your words helped to shape some of the driving dreams that I've realized since, to your current occupation as reviewer/short-film director, everything you did was nothing less than stellar. Thank you, Mr Catchpole ;-)
This reminds me of how Honda went to Senna for the NSX. Make something a little understated in how it sounds and kind of looks, but absolutely rips and is super well balanced on the track
"accessible as you could ever wish it could be", exactly! All over the internet people are saying its ugly, the designer is blind, its an insult to the great man. But thats not the point. You dont drive this car to look good, or pull. You dont go cruising Dubai to show off you wealth. Its not about the noise, or the speed even, as thats not what Senna was about. Its about driving very well, the cornering. That imo is the thrill of this car and the thrill of watching Senna racing... the thrill of watching him take every corner as if it wasn't there,. You drive this car, for the sensation of driving and thats it. Because thats the only reason why this car carries that great name, Senna! I think its fabulous!!!
Been waiting for this to go live! I wonder when McLaren will develop their own engine design from fresh, as I think if they were to make a V10, you would really get that awesome F1 sound of days of yesteryear, which would really make the cars seem even more linked with their F1 history.
I wish I could get excited about this car.. But its something about its hideous looks and boring engine note just sucks all of interest out of it for me. I'm sure its very rapid and all that.
Faster as Ayrton Senna do Brasil. So extraordinary how senna still alive till today.. years and years, always will be reminded and we always gonna miss him!
The myth behind the limited production is not just about them being exclusive it's about making people desire it.. If this was not limited to only 500 cars it would show up the fact that it is a complete flop, maybe only selling a few hundred if more freely available... Let the market decide what is what is special, not the marketing men.
Well if you are still in Portugal the best place to take it is the nearby Sintra roads where, lots o Group B rally stages have been trough. The roads are amazing and the scenery is beautiful. Words from a Local. Great Content keep it up!
Fantastic car, can't wait to race in it in Forza Horizon 4. Btw doesn't it look like a hornet about to attack? Oh and love that side by side running shot - great work guys!
Once you get over how fast it is, how smooth the engine is and how everything is managed for you, I bet you start to think that it is too perfect. With today’s technology it is possible to build a perfect car that does everything very well. It is a tribute to Mclaren’s engineering, design and manufacturing skills. But in my heart I just want another Mclaren F1. It may be slower and underperforming compared to the Senna, but it gets my juices flowing a lot more.
Michael McDonald When a MP4-12C sounds almost like a Aston Martin 5.9L V12 when revving at idle and significantly simular when loaded(accelerating), it seems like Mclaren's sound quality is gradually declining.
I was just going to say the same.. this car may have 800HP, but it sounds super boring!!!! where is the drama! (i hate what turbo's do to a car's sound)
Carfection:McLaren Senna: Track Review - Carfection (4K) Vehicle Virgins:Here’s Why The $1 Million Mclaren Senna Is The BEST Car In The World I think you got the point...
I think this car is on another level for being a street legal car ! I could never afford one , but I can think of myself in the driver's seat and feel the experience as you did ! I do have a couple of fast bikes, that will haft to do !
I honestly do not know if there has ever been a more incredible team of car focused content creators in any form of media since the dawn of time. Hats off to the entire Carfection team!! Please don’t ever stop striving for absolute excellence!
Ryan M couldn't agree more, they are unrivalled in terms of motoring films, they are on a different level
have to agree with you to 100%. I really enjoy seeing some real journalism beside all this youtuber content
well there was Chris Harris on cars...the epitome
Amen

I dunno why people find it ugly, if you ask me, it's looking aggressive
FalconGamer 58 IKR.
FabLoveGA ayy
FalconGamer 58 finally someone who actually likes the car
@@utahraptor2121 I don't understand why people hate its look
If they think its so ugly then they should answer this....why did Playground Games add this car in Forza Horizon 4?
A car that makes you able to achieve things you never thought you could, i quite like how it's been so perfected that if you give it your full undivided attention it will make the most challenging of tracks, sharpest of corners and scary of speeds feel achievable.... a race car hiding within a road car

How do you guys not have 1 million subscribers. I have legit binged watched every episode of carfection since it was X-Car. Keep up the amazing work!
Who needs Top Gear or The Grand Tour when you have channels and drivers like this on UA-cam. Superb yet again :-)
Petrol Ped, definitely a wide choice of car channels on UA-cam for sure. I Dont miss old, new whatever Top Gear a bit.
Any good suggestions?

Because Jeremy Clarkson is funny.
Absolutely fantastic 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌 Love the content. Thanks
TGE TV yeeep yep yep yep
what he said ^
That’s a video, mate!
go to bed my lamp
“Content” feels cheap and vomitous.
You guys are on the forefront of automotive journalism.
I went on to UA-cam saw the Carfection review of this car and decide to watch before Mr JWW review! Again the cinematography is utterly stunning ! Well done Boy's!!

Bloody good job again🤗
One of the few car channels on youtube that are actually about cars, love your work, keep doing what you doing :)
Awesome as always. Highest quality in every way. Such a great mix of films and content on this channel
By far the best video of the Senna from all the videos from the UA-cam creators that were invited. Well done guys, well done.
Best presenter and content on youtube. Overall product by the team is the standard. Great job.
Fantastic visuals and review. The highlight was the tracking shot @5:29. 😱🤤🙏🏻
Also, nicely done with the Speedmaster ⏱👌🏻👏🏻
What a sublime video! Definitely Carfection!
This is Godly! You killed it. This has to be the best production you made so far! Obviously your inspiration was set at such a high bar to represent Senna. This is a masterpiece.
There’s not a better person to review this car, great stuff as usual!
*awesome video guys! Henry, great seeing you at the Aston DBS launch yesterday*
Great to meet you too.
Fantastic review! The intro was phenomenal! What a car!
Great as always from Henry
Top work Harry, love your videos mate.
I've been waiting for Catchpole to review this car, all the other reviews just don't matter until I've watched this man
This was such a clean piece of content. Beautifully shot 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I see what you mean Henry! Fabulous stuff as always!
Opening narration and production were second to none. Well done!
Henry Catchpole, your voice mixed with soundtracks, just makes the videos something special.
Always love listening to Henry. Great video
The only review of this car I will watch. Proper journalist Mr Catchpole 👍
Top notch cinematography and narration as usual! Looks like the Senna lives up to its name. If only the new NSX carried that ethos as well, considering Ayrton's role influencing the original.
This resembles the NSX in proportions and looks more than the new one. I imagine also in spirit.
And if you look at the Senna from behind, it looks like a REAL new NSX
Best car reviewer on here! The amount of effort you put in your posts is awesome. I've started reviewing cars myself and hope to become as great as you one day!
Ahhh yessss, The Wolf aka Catchpole returns! Definitely one of my favorite presenters ever!
Wales, so happy this popped up after a hard day great video thankyou.
Falling asleep, got notification, I’m wide awake. What a vid to stay up to! Well done guys
Truly extraordinate car, review and videography.
Finally a review from the best of the best! ❤️
Abhiroop Bhattasali that would be chris Harris
Chris and Wolverine do the best reviews! ;-)
That's right, Doug Demuro just uploaded
Extraordinary quality, as we've come to expect from Carfection.
I wonder though, will we ever get the review video of the Chiron or have I missed something ?
Working on the Chiron review at the moment...!

Excellent stuff henry 👍
Looks like a 720S that gave up changing into a Gumpert Apollo mid transition.
keanehgz stopped in the middle with mclaren power and gumpert cornering
All up good spot to stop
z30 r154 a02b for lap times? Definitely! For looks and drama? Fuck no!
That’s transcarist.
Senna and Catchpole!! Yes.
Great video Henry, looking forward to seeing it on the road.
Impeccable video, doing justice to a truly amazing vehicle.
Quality content like this is rare on YT these days. Can’t say the cars’s design is growing on me, but it sure looks fun to drive.
Good choice of timepiece there Henry!
Love the speedy. Perfect watch for the job.
What an incredible Car Great Video
great shots.
I bet it’s faster than the their current F1 car.
you mean more reliable than the current F1
Saab Turbo youre living under a rock. Its slow, not unreliable
Special both
this video is very nice... good intro, good writing, good clips.. its really nice
Wowww what a gooooood review!!!!
BIGGGG THUMBS UPPPP!!!!
Lovely video, and nice watch! I have a Speedmaster "First Omega In Space" on a similar NATO. Beautiful timepiece.
Relaxed exploration/explanation of a hypercar's capabilities.
Another video that is absolute perfection
Great coverage of a truly awesome car. Thank you!
This reminds me of how Honda went to Senna for the NSX. Make something a little understated in how it sounds and kind of looks, but absolutely rips and is super well balanced on the track

Love it when the manufacturers tributes your own name on their productions to keep us reminding those legends
Aiman Zack how many do you know of? You make it sounds there's many such cars...
nes suno not many as I know...examples like Sir Stirling Moss and Sir Senna themselves
It sounds like Gran Turismo sounds. And that ain't good. Ever.
Wow, it genuinely does. They really fucked up with this car's sound. Maybe customer cars will sound better
Great stuff Henry!
The absolute best there is. Well done Carfection!
This car is pure engineering perfection! Looks be damned, Thats why Mclaren is my favorite
I don't care what anyone says, this is a future classic
hmmmmm
Yes Ofcourse we all know. Mclaren is the best.
Why would you think it is? It's not one of the last NA or manual supercars and the production numbers aren't too low.
Houssam Alucad there is a difference between a classic and a collectors item. I just think the car is damn good
Houssam Alucad They’re making only 500. And with the name Senna in it I think it could be a classic.
Thank you Henry 🙏

Exactly my thoughts as well.
It's so boring that the review hardly holds my attention. I had to run back to the p1 reviews for excitement.
Fantastic review as always! My only complaint is that we got every angle of the driving experience except a cockpit view...hmmm
Absolutely brilliant!
Amazing car and as always a great review. Would just like to know when we are going to see the brabham bt62 on track. Cant wait for that to be honest.
Faster as Ayrton Senna do Brasil. So extraordinary how senna still alive till today.. years and years, always will be reminded and we always gonna miss him!
Great review ✌🏻🏁
Henry is the automotive journalistic equivalent of Shakespeare. When is he going to drive the Senna GTR?
The myth behind the limited production is not just about them being exclusive it's about making people desire it.. The more I see this car the more it grows on me.
Monster Yep! Metoo! This spec is nice! I get used to the Penis Windows too! Loooooool
It was amazing to see these cars live
Digging the Speedmaster, it's only right when driving a car like this.
Is this an Omega Moonwatch that Henry is wearing?
Nick Sokolis Yep!
Would love to know what the music used through the first couple of minutes is... it’s absolutely glorious!
Jim Taylor Shazam
@@gdfggggg Shazam has no idea.

Love the look of the senna
Is this rated TV-MA?! Great content!
Carfaction is the only one that actually touched the name behind the car
Road test you say? Where should we take it? Well I know a nice stretch of toll road in the German Ardennes
Fantastic car, can't wait to race in it in Forza Horizon 4. Btw doesn't it look like a hornet about to attack? Oh and love that side by side running shot - great work guys!
5:28 How? Just...how? What a beautiful piece of film. Thanks.

Omega Speedmaster.. you have a class, sir!
I was going to say hi to you at FOS yesterday but you were running too fast haha, nice review
Its way ahead of the game good on mclaren to keep raising the bar .. at least its not a boring design like merc project one
Lovely Speedmaster, Henry.
This car might not be the best looking design, but everything else about it is simply brilliant!
this is how you expect a car journalist to do his job
Sounds so damn boring, and that’s coming from a huge McLaren fan
Michael McDonald When a MP4-12C sounds almost like a Aston Martin 5.9L V12 when revving at idle and significantly simular when loaded(accelerating), it seems like Mclaren's sound quality is gradually declining.

720S GT3 is cheaper and likely a lot more fun.
Hideously ugly car, but fast.
I'd imagine it's been made quiet so it will conform to db limits on trackdays. Shame there isn't an exhaust valve that could be open or closed though
I want a start button on the roof!
