He does live up here now, and is only a few minutes away from me. We talk every now and then, and have fished together within the last year at a Private Water Fishing lake. He’s a great guy!!
Why the hate on Lake Lewi? Mos Def one of the better lakes in Texas. Lewi is one of the few lakes in Texas that has never disappointed me. You can target 4-5 different species with reliable success there.
@@FishingtheLoneStar Yes, its a WATERSPORT BOATING type lake. No, there is not a lot of obvious cover. Despite that, the fishing has literally always been good for me there. And I am no professional fisher or UA-cam Fisherbro.
@@freighttrain7143 - I have my go-to places out there, and have learned spots to do pretty well. But I’d still rather fish Ray Roberts, or make the drive to an East Texas lake.
@@FishingtheLoneStar Oh yeah. East Texas lake fishing is THE BEST, no argument there. Better parks and places to stay, to go with the better fishing. Especially Toledo Bend.
We were fishing the far south end, but I know where you are talking about. It’s really dirty water there, and better for catfish, drum, and carp, or gar.
Good video and good times!
Thank ya bud! This is a tough lake, so catching some good fish in 3-4 hrs work was awesome!!
Looked like a Great day to me… nice.
Thank you!!
You should collab with Tyler’s reel fishing, he’s in Texas too

If you’re focusing on largemouth bass fishing, it’s a pretty featureless lake, and not near as many bass per acre as others in Texas.

Any luck over by where the water goes under 380?

Hey man going out to fish Lewisville tomorrow for the first time. Just wondering what branch of the lake did you catch these on?
This lake sucks! One of the worst lakes in Dallas for sure.
