The Came audio sounds horrible in comparison to the Hollyland. Unless I’m missing something?
I bought my EarTech units based on your UA-cam original review and we have been very happy with them. The ONLY drawback is the mic, but we have them and will stick with them.
We are no longer a "mobile church” (finished our new building during COVID but California wouldn’t give us the certificate to “occupy” until the restrictions were lifted) and now the headsets just hang on the wall, waiting for our 3 Sunday services (opened with 190 and now run over 500) I did get the "Single Ear" for the director and "Dual Ear" for the team and this helps in the loud environment of the worship center. My team is now tuned into you and your weekly advice.
Thanks for the info and please keep it coming.
That’s awesome! Ya tbh all 3 brands I’ve reviewed have been really good. Thanks for the encouragement 😀
One thing to note is that the batteries for came-tv are non-proprietary, so buying extras or buying replacements in the future should be easy and more affordable even if you’re in another country.
Mr. CheesyCam?!?! Honored. Yes that is a really handy feature 👍🏻
Thank you so much for this great review! I am looking at these for our church livestream. Our control room is separate from the worship space, but based on your review it sounds like that won't be an issue. I do have one question that I can't seem to find the answer for, though. When the master raises and lowers the mic and hears the voice telling them that they are muted or un-muted, do the other headsets hear that voice, as well?
I don’t believe they do. 99% sure.
I loved this comparison and the real world testing is perfect. Have to say that the dual mics gave me old school braces head gear vibes…😂
Thanks so much for the reviewing! We are so glad to hear that.We will keep creative and produce more and more better products for the community!
I know the Master unit can communicate with all the slave units at the same time, but my question is, can the slave units talk to each other as well? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
I see on Amazon that we can get up to 5 headsets. Are they able to add more headsets like the eartecs?
You need the hub for more than 5 www.came-tv.com/collections/came-kuminik8
@rylandrussell thanks for such thoughtful reviews! We have a wired clearcom system in place but are wanting to add some wireless units. Would there be a way to integrate the CameTV or Hollyland units into our existing system?
Just got mine! Now they come with a sticker to add to the master to help identify it easier!
Hey question! Have you ever had like line noise come from the master of the Came TV set we’ve had ours for 2 months and on resurrection Sunday there started to be a strong line noise that comes through when the master is unmuted.
Hmmm nope! Ours have been solid.
Bought these Came-TV a set of three, very low sound and of the two slave set only one connects to the master, if my experience is something to go by, i wouldn't recommend the came-TV AT ALL, just toys, still looking for best intercom, i count my Came-TV set wasted money
Weird! We use them every week and they’ve been great. 🤷🏼♂️
Ryland, this is exactly the video that I've been looking for! I used Eartec coms for the first time as a drone op on a huge livestream halftime show, and it was great, but I couldn't take my hands off the controller to get at the mic!
That’s a cool opportunity and a bit nerve racking I bet! Fpv?
Did you get that cable switched out yet?
lol, it's fixed now :)
I know the Master unit can communicate with all the slave units at the same time, but my question is, can the slave units talk to each other as well? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
The master has to be powered on. Any that are connected to it are on an “open line” and can hear and talk to each other.
@@RylandRussell thank you brother
I guess build quality is not really important for you cause the CAME-TV headband clearly looks messed up in this video and you didn’t even mention it.
I guess I’m not seeing what you are seeing. Been using them every week without fail including while I type this.
@@RylandRussell @1:09 this headband looks weird to me. I do not own them and maybe the video is not doing them justice but I can definitely see the leather looking part separating.
@@jpemile that is the way they are made. Nothing is separating.
@@RylandRussell well, good for you if you find it not to be a problem. This video was actually really helpful since I will not be getting them for free; thanks!
Would the Came TV dual headsets work for live concert environment, or is the low volume of the headset make them unusable on very loud environments? 🥲
With any of the budget options I’d go dual ear if that is a concern.
