Two vids in one day. Way to go Wonderhussy!
I grew up in Hawaii and can say you are correct on the lava types. In Australia it would be said that you and your sister did a "walk-about" which I enjoyed from the comfort of my home. You braved the elements for your subscribers!
She always does...some of the places she's hiked have scared the sh!! out of me 😂 Sarah is SO brave!
Attack of the Giant Red Ants , great filming location 🎥📽️
I love wonder valley. I live here six months of the year. The other six months is to hot so I live in the redwoods in northern cali.

I’m still in Joshua Tree watching your adventures. You are such an inspiration to me. Thank you.
New vid on Friday at 10pm makes me so freaking happy 😘
Another great Wonderhussy adventure! Looking forward to the next one!
The two sisters are in wonderful shape to have done that crater climb 🧗. Have to smile to see your sister’s expressions when Sarah spontaneously bursts into 🎶. Thanks for fun video. ❤
Sarah Jane, you are a masterful story teller. And I'm probably not the first person to notice that. Wish I had the ability to speak so clearly and cognitively like you.
As a Marine at 29Palms I used to see that crater in the distance. We had many stories about it. Supposed to be a gateway to hell. All kinds of weird stuff. Pretty spooky late at night in the desert.
Semper Fi 72-76. My son, also a Marine was stationed at "the Stumps" 6 years ago before heading to Cherry Point.
I was a dependent at 29 palms in the late 90s… we drove across country on our way out to my dad’s next assignment and remember passing through Amboy and that crater. Rumor was back then it was a gathering area for local satanic cults etc. I remember that part as a kid. Whether it was true or not…I don’t know.
That's a heck of a hike Sarah. good video. Hi to your sister
I'm pretty sure Wonderhussy could make a blank screen interesting and entertaining! ❤the Hussy!
The Respite structure was the coolest man made thing I’ve seen lately. The volcano crater was cool too. Thanks Hussy!
Always a pleasure to see that wonderful smile from the most beautiful talented hard-working producer on UA-cam
I grew up in the Valley. The San Fernando one not the Death one. All I knew about that part of the world came from watching Borax commercials. Jump ahead forty years and I meet a young lady that happened to live and work in 29 Palms. I used to visit every weekend. From LA to 29 Palms. I learned a lot about the California desert then but I have to say though that Wonder Hussy continues to wow me with new adventures.
Wonderful, wonderful from Wonder Valley, from wonderhussy, yes how wonderful is that!
Supposedly the locals would occasionally haul a bunch of old tires up into the crater and set them on fire so the people on the passenger trains going by would think that it was an active volcano. The Amtrak Southwest Chief still passes by Amboy, but it does so in the middle of the night.
Wonderful World 🌎 of Hussy!!
Love the Respite Installation! Cheers
Sarah I wish you would please do a video on Graham Parsons And the Joshua Tree inn and cap rock. It's a crazy story and a true just love to hear you do a video tell the story about it you do such a good job‼🇺🇸😉
I’ve never wanted to roll around in a parking lot wearing a Howard the Duck costume before but I guess there’s a first time for everything
Mankind NEEDS art. And that little house truly does look like a respite....from the heat, from the wind.....and the sun. God bless the person who created that.
Love you Sarah!!❤❤
Been to Amboy Crater many times. Fascinating place. Another cinder cone you should visit, if you can get to it as some company (Can-Cal Resources) owns it and thinks they are going to mine it for gold, is Pisgah Crater. As a geologist, I think that mining Pisgah for gold, or any metal for that matter rather interesting.... I did read the assay report. At the top, the lava lake collapsed and and the neck drained so quickly, it left a bit of a lava tube that you can climb down into. There is even a breeze of air that comes out of it. Also, just to the east of the cinder cone are several lava tubes that can be explored. One, I don't remember which as it has been 40 years, is around 1200 feet long.
Love the way your sister knows not to wait for you. That AA lava looked very rough. Some nice look outs on that crater rim.,
I'd wear sensible gloves too. If you tripped and fell it's going to be bloody fingers.
So dang knowledgeable ❤ I enjoy your stories
Thnak you for taking us on the adventure to the Amboy Crater. It was fun seeing you both, you and sister, hiking the trails! It was interesting ing seeing the sights around. Weather looked great for your adventures. Looking forward to future adventures and fun! Best wishes and regards! 😀
Love your channel . My parents and I in the Carolinas are going thru some tough times with both of them being ill and we watch your videos ever week. Reminds me of the last vacation we took together to Vegas and Pahrump. I normally go to Vegas 4 times a year and the next time I'll have to explore Death Valley for at least one day to see some of the incredible places in your videos. Thanks for all you do Ms. Sara Jane. You are very beautiful, interesting and intelligent 🤓 😉 have a great Spring
I Love The "Wonder" Of It All
Thank You Wonderhussy💖
Thank you so much, Sarah, for all your adventures to places I’ll never get to. They are a small vacation every time you post. Keep ‘em coming. Love them all!
Woke up Saturday to a nice surprise. My favourite you tuber!! Three vids in one week. Just what I needed on a cold snowy day 👍🥰
Dang. That's a Doubleheader. Good job WOnderhussy. Thank you!
The lava fields were awesome. I loved that you showed us that, and I can't get out and about anymore so I really appreciated it
A Saturday (here) video!!! 😮 Holy Gazookas 💙❤️!!!
I like this channel, it is both educational and entertaining.
Nice to have a bonus feature. Love your work.
Yes, you are crazy, but you make crazy FUN. Thanks!
What a fabulous place. Your description of the end of the world made me laugh out loud. Thank you for that.
🤠& Yes enchantment is very important in life 😊
Wonderful video as always, and I love the tenet that WD adheres to "Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story"
As always, you find the coolest places to go, 🥰
the look your sister gives you when you start belting out "RESPECT"!!! too much!
The Amboy crater out in the desert with its awesome panoramic views SarahJane. Funny and unusual thing about certain birds who are legless on terra firma. The perfect match Wonderhussy in Wondervalley you can't get better then that.👊👌✌👍🙂😎
I love the little building. Thanks
Wow! That place got fancy since the last time I was there!
Thank you for the Amboy Crater video.
I love.
Your videos, I like traveling around going to places that you have shown me because it's just what I like to do. Thank you again.
Wonderful companion you are ! ! ! 👌🥰
Hi Sarah I don't know what it is but you're latest vids have been at a higher level. Well done. Lava you❤
Sarah, you rock!! Im siting here in South Jersey watching you explore really cool places. You're the bestest!!!
Love this one of my favorites!!!!!
Ya gotta WONDER.
You are quite a storyteller Sarah. Two thumbs up.
So fun to watch your videos even though I don't like the desert that much you make it interesting.
Howdy, Sarah! I hope you are having a great weekend.
Sound was great
❤❤❤
Not only *TWO* videos on Friday, but also a shoutout to the *THEREMIN* -- Thanks Sarah Jane!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Cool😂❤
That sign is amazing. I really thought it said Wonderhussy at first. 😂
Hilarious video! Your last few videos have been some of your best!!
Come to Idaho and explore Craters of the Moon!
"The Suspense is Killing me... I Hope it Lasts!" LOL
This reminds me of the song "Journey to the center of the mind" by the Amboy Dukes 1968
The art installation kinda reminds me of a Navajo Hogan
Thank You For Documenting Our Wonderfull Wonder Valley .
Thank you great video today i love all the neat things you always seem to find safe travels
Journey To The Center Of The Earth was filmed there!....One of my all time fave movies....The movie with Pat Boone and Gertrude the Goose...who met an untimely death in the movie.....Great video Wonderhussy!!
Cool stuff. That building had to cost a fortune to build.
Spot on video! Fun to watch!
It is the Wonder Shack in Wonder Valley ❤
A MAGNIFICENT VIDEO. YOUR BEAUTIFUL SISTER IS HIDING AGAIN, TOO BAD.
Let's ALL share these unearthly stories from the middle of nowhere! Wonderhussy is the Best Story-Teller on the Internet!!
Thanks for saving me a trip out there ❤
you are queen of the world for the day
Bravo Sarah 💥
You should check into a cell signal repeater for your drone!
I have always been fascinated how vegetation grows up through the dried hardened lava fields. Maybe not there but in Hawaii it sure does
Wonder Valley would be ideal for rendezvous. Half way between us. We can get an abandoned fixer-upper and live happily ever after.
That's a portal, Sarah! Have a Solstice party here!😜
That is a great view.
I love the depth you go into in the info in your videos. I've always known about Amvoy, and after you did the video on Amboy I saw a video on the Amboy Crater. I wondered why you didn't do the crater, which I've never heard of. I also love that you take time to take timeto explore the fanciful and unusual.
Hey, Wonderhussy, the Amboy Crater was a lot of fun. We certainly don't have anything like that around here -- Reading PA.
Looks like the 4 doors of the shack point to the 4 directions on a compass…you came in from the east door as the sun was setting through the west door
💖 you ms Wonderhussy, the best story teller of all 🎉✨🌈👍✨🙂ps geez you're pretty 😍
The love Shake !
cool an awesome crater wonderhussy, keep those wheels rolling!
The shot of the train and car way out in the distance was really great. You must have planned the time to be there to get that picture.
Amazing, I haven't been out there to the Crater since my days in the Corps. The Lava is spread out for miles around, we used to worry about our tiers getting damaged driving over that stuff, it was very sharp. There is an old crash site on the west side of the crater where a P-39 crashed during WW2. I'm Glade to see Sis out with you, I believe you two should try out for the Amazing Race or Survivor, my two favorite shows. My first time there at Amboy was in 77, my last time in 88, I had planned on going out there more often but life was very busy work and family. Love ya much, Old Kenny.
Semper Fi, 72-76. My son, also a Marine, was stationed at the Stumps 6 years ago before heading to Cherry Point.
@@kensmith2839 Semper Fidelis to you Sir, hope all is well and give your Son a shout out from an old Marine.
@@lisah7304 Thank you very much, I was glad to serve my fellow Americans. 😃
Wow what an amazing coincidence that a crater named Amboy chose to erupt so close to a town by the same name.
Great explore...nice little respite.Pisgah Crater is just down the road... Thx
Kool little art shack 👍
Hey Sarah, just wanted to point out that just passed the road closure at Ludlow, is the old mining town called Ragtown.
That area is called The Buckeye Mining District. John Suter discovered The Baghdad Chase mine in the 1800’s. Benjamin Chase, the old owner built the Ludlow and Southern RR to haul ore to the Santa Fe RR.
There is a large marker out there, placed in 1981, to mark the spot,
Loved the video, not sure you’d want to drive that road anyway.
I split a fuel tank open driving out to Ragtown one year.
Hope to visit this place over the summer this year.
I was on that exercise when that Marine was left behind. The exercise was in 29 Palms.
I'd love to be in Wonder Valley 😉
I love your shows, and I think you are gorgeous. God bless you.
I don’t know what I’m supposed to reply to, I’m not very good online
Been there! Hiked up and in!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for visiting and including my piece in your video! Most of the building materials were repurposed. Some had been bough pre-pandemic for another construction project. I live about a mile from the installation and am an advocate for sustainable and ecologically sensative art making in the desert. I’d love to make something like this in Tacopa! Thanks again!
Oh wow. Awesome. Maybe one day I can visit some of your work.
I love this piece so much. It's magical. Thank you for this. I haven't been to WV in a few years, now I can't wait to go again.
Its nice. How come 9 points?❤
looks like only 8@@underthetornado
what is it for?
