There is a narrative like we won't provide a path to the first team for our academy players. But I say that's bullshit. We'll promote/play players that are good enough to make the squad. Period. The end.
I don't know this kid, and I care at all that he's leaving.
Even if he goes on to become the undisputed GOAT, surpassing Messi and Ronaldo... I don't care. Bc rn, he is a 15 year old kid who I have never heard of and I'm not gonna get attached to someone I have never seen perform at a senior level. At least Paez and Estevao have senior appearences for their clubs -- and country, in Paez's case. If this Reo kid could say the same, it might be a very different conversation. But that's not the case.

Agreed, I think our academy players got more chances in recent years than any other top club. If you can't wait, then maybe you're not Chelsea enough.
