Boy howdy!! Another beauty Kevin .. Your background brush and trees look fantastically real. Great job my friend.. Speaking of messy pallets!! I squeezed out a couple of big globs of paint on my palette the other day and I was focusing on blending at the time and when I went back to my palette to get some of my paint it was gone.. Not good!! Lol lol. Both clumps right on the carpet in my room.. Now I have Indian yellow and sap green carpet.. Blended very nicely I might add.. lol lol lol. Some days !!!

Kevin, on A Misty Barn, you’re using oil to thin down the black and umber to get the branches in the back of the barn? I’ve used thinner before, but the oil sounds better to work with-what type of oil did u use to get those branches in? Anyone have prior experience is welcome to help me as well. Much appreciated, K

paintwithmark I've noticed that as well, and I wondered if it was in reference to people claiming his style was similar to Bob Ross. Not that I think that is a bad thing at all, I absolutely love both of their paintings, but his earlier videos definitely felt looser and less detailed, like a typical Bob Ross painting. I am loving his more detailed style as well though.
toni braunagel filbert...use a color that will blend in..or if pencil...make sure you spray it with a sealer. This prevents the pencil to seep into the paint...also will not mix with color..thus make mud. Hope this helps.

yeah, probably not going to do that. Honestly there are a lot of painters on youtube to show how to do the work and then make money on the supplies. I can watch them. I just like this guys paintings but I can find the technique without buying a dvd.
Weekend Fishing Kevin's dvds are well worth it...with this one the technique for rendering the boards and such is wonderful...most channels have patreon...Kevin does all of these vids for free ...he only makes from the full lessons and his brushes...paints..available on his website. He's got a bambino now...thank you.
