Nice feature on the MK-2 for in camera ND Filter, really made that shot. I would have had to blend 2 separate exposures for focus and also for exposure, that really simplified it. Mike.
It's a really nice feature. I've used it multiple times now and it just works. I could also have put a actualy gnd upside down before the lens but just to much effort. Because I don't have to do any effort I use it much more. It actually makes the whole mk2 worth it for me. Thanks for watching grt guido

Supermooie fotos Guido en mooie omgeving. Licht viel mooi. Ik ben paar dagen in Epe geweest om fotos te maken vd omgeving...de Dellen...erg mooi daar. Ik ga er zeker een keer terug. Plek waar jij zit is ook prachtig.
Dankjewel voor je reactie en leuk dat je weer gekeken hebt! Ik was eigenlijk net te laat. Er hing best veel mist maar ik moest eerst de kinderen wegbrengen dus kon niet eerder. Toen ik er kwam was de mist al deels weggetrokken. Hopelijk de volgende keer meer mist. Ik heb ook een tag staan bij de dellen maar ben er nog nooit geweest zelf. Daar in de buurt heb je ook het pluizenmeer met een groot heide gebied. Daar heb ik ook al veel moois van gezien wellicht ook leuk om te onthouden. Grt guido

Yes indeed it was heumensoord! I've been there many times as a child but never for photography. Next time I can hopefully get those dead tree shots with some more fog in them but that is going to be next year. Thanks for watching and your comment grt guido
Shooting some winter landscapes with my OM1 and Live ND 5 EV I was wondering how much better some of the shots will be without all the bracketing using the OM1 Mk2. I'm following your journey with this tech closely.
There is no actual sensor difference between the om-1 and the om-1 mkII. But that said, there are differences that are noticeable. For example, the high-resolution files are now 14 bit, and they just look better. Also the live gnd is added wich is a very nice function. The live nd filter can now be used until nd 128, which is a really long exposure. They say nothing changed on the image quality of normal images, but somehow I have the feeling that the noise is easier handeled with. But that can also be because lightroom updates improved the noise reduction tools. I never have any problem with the noise anymore, even at Iso3200 and Iso6400. I get really nice shots. I will be making some more videos about the om-1 mkII in the near future next to all the on location videos. Thanks for your comment, and I hope you will find some more useful videos! Grt guido
Fantastic video.! That photo of the runner looks unreal. Well done . When you focus stack 2 images, you just take 2 single separate shots and combine them in like helicon? Or do you use the menu options for bracketing ?
It's funny because when I shot that image with the runner I thought that there was no need to film it because it was crap. But when I looked at it I was like uh ok this is quite good 😅 it depends on the shot how many images I take. Sometimes you need more. But because there was no midground 2 images was enough. I combine them in pbotoshop but I'm sure more software can do it. I made a video about how I do that once a long time ago. Might be 1.5 years ago or something. You could do a focus stack in the camera but the outcome is a jpg file. If you do it manually you will keep your raw file so that's why I choose that option. Ja ik wist het eigenlijk wel alleen toen ik het zei begon ik te twijfelen of dat ook de engelse naam was. Vroeger zou ik het opnieuw opnemen maar tegenwoordig vind ik het wel grappig om de foutjes erin te laten. In dit geval zitten er geen highres foto's in. In de volgende video wel weer. Hier zijn wel bijna alle bloemen foto's gemaakt met het live gnd filter. Daardoor ook die diepe kleuren ontstaan denk ik. Bedankt voor het kijken grt guido
@theflyingdutchman7127 nee het het f getal veranderd niks. De camera maakt wel meedere opnames die hij samenvoegd dus het werkt wel anders als een exht nd filter. Bij wind isndit natuurlijk lastiger toe te passen maar voor iemand als mij die niet altijd zin heeft om een filter te plaatsen is het een super uitvinding!
@theflyingdutchman7127 hmm nee dan krijg je toch echt een heel ander resultaat. Dan moet je die donkere delen oplichten of lichte delen achteraf donkerder maken. Dat word lang niet zo mooi als met het livegnd filter.

@@GuidoVanDeWater dan kun je net zo goed een high RES opname maken, al heb je dan geen filtering. Hoe dan ook het komt uit de lengte of de breedte
