Thank you. He had a remarkable life. A Minnesota farm boy who trained gunners and navigators beginning just before WWII, which he ended in the Phillipines. And did a little something in East Berlin during the Cold War that I never fully found the details of. A Phi Beta Kappa who auditioned for, but didn't quite make the New York Metropolitan Opera, he sang Midnight Masses at the Catholic Churches and sang the Kol Nidre at all the synagogues around Cincinnati for decades. Shame I saw so little of him.
