It's so interesting that there is almost no mention of space or a moon base etc in Ministry for the future. The total absence of space exploration and asteroid extraction is very loud and a message in and of itself.
Ironic how even this pristine landscape which Kim is being interviewed in we can’t seem to escape the world - even in the distance you can make out smokestacks and factory buildings.
